The passing of Max Bygraves left a huge void in the world of musical entertainment. He is not easily forgotten and is sadly missed. The world is not the same without him.
As I've got older I've increasingly understood what a brilliant entertainer Max Bygraves was. His stagecraft, his control of his audience, should be studied by everyone who wants to make a career in the business.
It's always been a mystery to me how he even got on tv. He appeared to be so ordinary and amateurish. Even on family fortunes he looked lost half the time. It's a bit like Tracy Emins art.
