The Mechanical Engineering Project 

1. Compressed air does not save any energy unless its compressed by a renewable energy source such as wind or solar. Otherwise, the system is less energy efficient than just using the energy that compressed the gas in the first place to power the cart. 2. Driving a piston engine with compressed air must be the most inefficient way of converting the stored energy. A direct paddle rotor used in air tools would be far more efficient and effective. Smaller and lighter too. Just rotate the crankshaft of that engine an air drill and see how it will cruise. (remove the cylinder hear, the block and the piston) I do admire your perseverance :-) , keep it up (Y)

permitanme un comentario...un motor a explosion de 4 tiempos...tiene tiempo de admision,compresio,expansion,y escape...en este sis tema la admision y la compresion son externas al motor de aire comprimido...por lo tanto solo se necesitan los tiempos de expansion y escape.....para ello debo modificar la relacion de transmision del arbol de levas la que en el motor a explosion es de 1/2...en el motor de aire comprimido debe ser de 171...para tener solo los tiempos de :expansion y escape...esta es a forma mas eficiente de un motor alternativo movido poir aire comprimido...ustedes no lo estan haciendo asi,perdiendo gran energia en el tiempo de compresion,,,espero puedan probar o ya lo hayan hecho de esta manera...igual felicitaciones por el trabajoo...y saludos desde la Rioja ,Argentina...

When compressed air expands to produce energy it also cools making it less efficient. You would need something to keep the air at a constant temperature.

Guys they have been using a kind of compressed air shunt train in our local oil refinery for over 50 years - its like a steam tank engine with typical steam cylinders acting on the wheels and air vessel instead of boiler

they have this Remarkable invention thats actually been out for quite along while, maybe you have heard of it? its called The 'Steam Engine' and did you know that converting one of these groundbreaking devices from steam to pnumatic is as simple as just hooking up an air compresser to the steam intake? now instead of Ruining a Perfectly good motor, you could have used to fill the compressor with, and build a steam engine to power your 'car' with.. also the alt to 'Fossil fuel' is Hydrogen!

You need energy to power air compressor, not necessarily fuel. Energy can be obtained in various eco-friendly ways - windmills, watermills, solar power etc.

Compress air vehicle is better way for sustainable living. We should also focus on compressing air using renewable energy.

My two spiked doors are finally built and falling walls and the floor produces enough charge to fry burgers. My rat trap project for my home and working on improving the windows, right now its has a falling blade wall with sensors capable of chopping off heads and hands and locks into place. Already tested it on a few live animals and currently improving on my alarm systems and camera and even had a recharging drone plat form installed on the roof and the place i put my sound enhancer and planning on installing wall cover to shoot from that raises and lowers and been considered additions to my roof project. My house already talks to me and don't think i will be able to get away with a remote controlled machine guns on the roof or armed drones and my house is partly built proof and if i have time to get to my special room in case of a murder attempts . You would need some explosives to get to me and i want one of those small drone that can fly humans on my roof when people improve them and its also has a bed and all kinds of guns and i have been considering buying a extra bullet proof vest to go with my full high tech armor and the people working on the project still have not made it bulletproof. Lazy men.

i had this.........its not practically possible for a cav to move with a speed over 30kmph it will require 714×4500 psi which help to generate 35.8kWh. but its not practically Possible even with this idea cuz it will be more than 2 ton of weight only with compressor and air tank(when fully filled).

how rear axle works properly without differential..

I like the ideas for using alternative energy. I'm not seeing though how compressed air is valuable unless you are near an alternatively powered air compressor, such as a windmill. If a person has to drive longer distance (5+ miles/8 km) this would seem to be a problem. mass distribution of goods over long distances seems even more problematic. Do you see this technology has being able to develop to the point that it can address this need?

Use this technology for REGRENITIVE BRAKING on heavy trucks and busses rather then the batteries I have in my Prius.

wonderful idea, you make it people will buy it. People buy pets rocks, and junk, this cart is awesome, even I have a comprssor at home. Don't listen to these controlling marketing ideas. these backward people don't even own any tools, why would they need a cart in there 600sqft flat. Please go to site like 'go fund me" or crowd sourceing and your team would get enough money to take this idea to production, and then sell it on ebay or amazon etc.
