As a retired intensive cardiac nurse, I have assisted numerous cardio versions for atrial fibrillation. As an elective proceedure, patients do extremely well !!!! Nothing to lose any sleep over ! Glad all the other labs are looking good ! The echo will give the cardiologist A better look at the heart valves and the squeeze of the heart. You are being well cared for !!!!!

I'm glad you are comfortable with your doctor's treatment. If you lived in the USA and a doctor said to me: "for someone your age" I'd be really worried... as the average person my age is in terrible shape, just look around any doctor's waiting room or community center. 💖🌞🌵😷

Every appointment starts in a room full of people hobbling on sticks/walkers etc puffing and blowing and many look a lot younger than me.

Yes the final results are always the one we need. Glad to hear yours and wish for best results on Heart test. Some of your meds maybe reduced or stopped at a certain time but as you are aware this will also be tied to how you respond to treatment.

If I can have the shock treatment and get rid of the Atrial Fibrillation, and my cholesterol can be kept low, my blood pressure should reduce to an acceptable level and then, maybe, all the meds can stop - that's what I hope anyways.

Welcome to the world of blood thinners, Roger! At least we live in a time where therapeutics are available. Have you thought about doing any more shorts? Not sure what they require to be monetized, but maybe that is a way to earn more money and perhaps more subs. Butterflies, cat, flowering orchids, butterflies could be great short snips. And you already have the vids; will need to edit of course. Glad you have a team behind you for your health care!

I will 'have a play' - I don't think my editing software does portrait but I sure there's something lying around that does. Just as an example, I have done one short just to see if I could - that has had 1.4K views and has earned £0.07 - hardly worth the effort when a normal vid can earn between £3-£10. (My highest earning vid (an old one) has earned £60.

Good news. Always good to know you are set for more years than you would have. I will says though, don't worry too much. We don't know the future, and it may be your overhead will be mich less in the future. As we age we do less things and need less.
