Ideas that the lecture examines include:
• a return to the apocalyptic- this time with mystical magic
• the transformation of Christianity
• the concept of a ‘special time’
• end times
• prophecy
• redeeming the sparks
• the antinomian messiah
• redemptive consciousness
• kabbalistic efforts to bring redemption
• sexual practices to bring the special soul
• the redemptive spirit in the special soul.
David discusses the stories of these fascinating messianic figures and thinkers and unpacks their ideas, influences, and contributions to history as well as to the ever-developing notion of redemption and messianic fulfillment.

I have only recently just started studying Jewish history and Judaism. I was raised as Catholic, not by my choice, but fell away from it many years ago. I thought it was pretty scary. I like your talks. You're a good speaker and very informative in a way that is not too difficult to follow. I guess the best thing to do while we're all figuring it out is to be as kind as we can to all and be aware of our actions as to how they effect others. The world is getting more frightful with all the escalated violence in it. We need help.

Hi David, thank you first of all for all your videos, they’re extremely valuable. Due to current events, blood libel is popping up again, and I was wondering if you could address this topic. I have been researching it myself with limited success, since every source seems to have a very extreme agenda. Nonetheless, there were so many cases of these accusations in history, mostly in the 17th and 18th centuries (that I’ve seen), that there seems to at least be something there. After watching this video, I was wondering if it would make any sense to you or if you are aware of any antinomian cults who took Zoharistic magic to extremes such as that in their spiritual war against Edom. We know about pagan cults and antinomian Christian cults who do stuff like this-I have no doubt that blood libel was also a major political weapon used against Jews, but were those falsely accused being associated with hated radicals?

@Just musings, God's Timeless Blessings. Genesis 12:2 is an interesting fact. Genesis 12:4 counts Abram as being 75 years old, and Genesis 12:3 is when " I will bless them that bless you and curse he that curses you and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. " From anyone of those time points, it's close to 1900 centuries beginning with Genesis 12:1 to Jesus Christ and Paul in Galatians 3:8, where he's admonishing the bewitched Galatians around year 62 a.d. Fast forward to 1983, when the late great Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein who soon began proclaiming his ministry on Genesis 12:3 and the Isaiah 58 promises. Prophetically speaking, that 1900 centuries to 1900 centuries seems too parallel close to not being a God timed occurrence. Another small similarity, Abraham lived right off the road from the ancient King's Highway root that connected the cultural worlds of his day. Then arrives Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein who soon began proclaiming his ministry through the Christian Television broadcast system that crisscrossed the world cultures of our day. Just an acknowledgement for today. God bless you on your journey!!!

the Redemption has happened, it happened 2,000 years ago. However the Christ did not set up a TEMPORAL Kingdom, on the Last Day though He will come again to judge us all and establish His Eternal Kingdom. interesting video though
