Today seems like a good day for ska music and day drinking.

I hear this and all I can think about is Tai standing alone on the dance floor changing her look with her jacket every 2 seconds...

I remember watching clueless in the theatre and hearing this thinking, "holy shit!"...never expected it, ska was still underground where I'm from.

Somewhere back in the 90ies, i woke up and knew ive got a test in middleschool. I turned the TV on, zapped to MTV and this was playing. I loved the Sound, everything went well and at least 25 years later, i still do! Thnx

I saw them so many times!!! Couldn't get enough & that opened the doors to so many other "RUDE" bands when life was smooth & we all had so much fun!!

Take it from a guy that saw the Bosstones in the 90's. Like a dozen times. They were awesome! The steam coming out of the Middle East in Boston, in December, looked like that place was on fire! Because it was.

I knew guys who were grinding in the asian man days playing for 50 bucks in the bay area... these guys toured their ass off when there was no demand for ska bands, respect.

I'm just gonna say that, as far as meaning goes, while I see how it could be a lover who ghosted the singer/narrator - I can see it actually being himself wondering where his past self went. "Checked the clock when I got home and realized I was alone..." It could be that he realized that his partner is normally home by that time, or it could just be a realization that he is and has been alone in life. Time goes on, and we can lose parts of ourselves - and perhaps sometimes the parts of ourselves that we feel may have attracted other people to us - and just because you realize something is missing doesn't mean you can find it and put it back in its place. So maybe he's really thinking about his past self when he asks "Where did you go?" Listening to the song from this angle gives it a deep meaning to me.
