All facts lol, I played for Lonn Reisman for 2 years and lost 12 games over that span (25-8) (29-4) and his attitude was like we never won a game. We were always on pins and needles!!!

I don’t like coach Cal. I think he’s arrogant beyond reproach. But damnit, if he doesn’t run a straight shooting ship exemplified perfectly by that meeting with the three of them. Not giving them to option to come back and to go off on their own and make that money. It’s some tough love but in the best way. So a lot of respect is due there.

Calipari has won at a high level most of his career, and has been in 3 championship games, won 1, actually should have won 2. Had Willie caulie stein not been out vs uconn in 2014 he probably would have had 3. However he doesn't, he won 1. And a huge reason why he only won 1, is because he doesn't let his players return!!!!! Bam, malik monk, Daaron Fox all 3 would have returned for their sophomore year, and almost guarantee a national championship shot, but Cal pushed them out the door. For their own benefit, i get and understand, but man as a UK fan ive always gotten soo attached to the players, and soo many have came and went it sucks. That squad with bam, Malik, and Fox was one of the most underrated Calipari teams man, they deserved to win a championship. The buzzer heater loss to the eventual champion in UNC hurts to this day, but they definitely were the best team in the country that season.

It's weird how UNC and Duke pass on or are somewhat lukewarm on NC star HS basketball playes that UK's been able to snatch up! Bam, Jon Wall, Dillingham this year. The UNC and Duke fans say crap like their not "UNC" material or they have off court issues or Duke say they dont fit the brand....blah blah blah. Then they get to UK and never have any issues with school, off the court, team chemistry, etc. I guess that's the UNC/Duke paper class mentaility
