Torridon is situated in the North West of Scotland and is home to some of the best bouldering in Britain! This winter season we focused mainly on trying to climb the classics and a few harder problems and this is what happened........

in my opinion, this is a well done job! Simple concept, great execution! This film shows once more that 8c+/9a heroes aren't essential to shot something that really offers a genuine picture of climbing culture!

I love this video for multiple reasons, first off how raw the footage is especially when you guys fail. Like the cussing and emotion is what makes the successful attempts so rewarding. I was climbing the routes through you guys. :) Secondly, the video seemed so free and fun, it actually has inspired me to take a couple of my friends and go on a trip like this next summer. Thanks for sharing and keep climbing!

If it rained 50% less in that area, it can quickly become one of the world's leading bouldering field. The boulders are sick! But I can't say the same for the music.. but hey guys.. great video, good work and good first ascends! I hope to visit someday..

Quite good quality of bouldering film. Well put together and it's free to watch. 4K film on a good 4K TV looks so nice. Same with Malcolm. Not sure about the music choice though. Good filming nonetheless. Professional look with multiple cameras. Well done. Enter some mountain film festival comps?

hi there, congrats again for this great movie! i'm moving my first steps in video editing and i was wondering how you managed to add non cc music! is it legit? do you have to ask permission to authors? have you been warned from yt for using such audio content? thank you!

Hi man, thanks. With the music its copyrighted which is why it cant be played on mobile devices but because I'm just starting its not that big a deal and its nice to use the music I like. But in the future I will definitely have to contact the labels and get permission!

zwaartepunt For the nice cold weather probably winter but the weather is very on and off, you might get rain the whole time. So for reliable weather I would go springtime!

Torridonian sandstone, very compact form of sandstone almost like granite but better ;)

The 4k resolution is nice, but the fps mate.. it's stuttering. I see single images instead of a moving picture in some of the shots. I'd prefer having 1080 only and instead get 60fps. Apart from that.. nice video!

EarlGrey Cheers for the feedback, realised that when I panned it was a bit jumpy, guess thats because of the 4K then?
