they'll never outdo the original run of the Mitchell brothers 1990 to 1999 most of that was Grant being a complete violent nutter he had serious ptsd from the Falkland's war he became abusive and controlling in relationships especially Tiffany @@H.K.5
Last time he returned, all they had him do is wave a baseball bat around then leave. It was better when he returned in 2005/6. You can bring an iconic character back, but they need good writers to make his return interesting.
These two were amazing together. The chemistry on and off screen was amazing. Grant really brought every option out of Phil and vice versa. Plus is Grant returned he would definitely still be eye candy.for us ladies no matter our age 😂😂😂 xxxx
Sharon and Kathy have been sisters-in-law (when they were married to the Mitchell brothers), stepmother/stepdaughter (when Kathy was married to Gavin), and mother/daughter-in-law (when Sharon was married to Ian) - as well as having been married to the same man (Phil). Only in soapland!
When they thought they were in France 😂😂😂😂. Those 4 had so many funny moments together. Now Ricky is back ATM bring back Grant and as an added extra bring back Nigel with even louder and brighter shirts!! Xx
So much further potential has been wasted for Grant as a character. His run throughout the 90s was legendary, though his minor stints that he made in the mid 2000s and 2016 where letdowns mostly especially 2016, if you think about it of all of the years he has been associated with EastEnders since 1990 that nearly 33 year period he spent less time in the series that he has out of the series. If you think about it he’s hardly been in it. Not just that I would like to point out that there is so many characters that we would’ve loved to have seen him interact/be on screen with but we never dead and due to his long absences from the series there is so much that he could’ve got involved in, like he could’ve been involved in some really juicy storylines But due to him being away from the show for so long it never happened
Really funny how they thought they were in France 😂. What so they would have thought they got so drunk, jumped onto a ferry, slept and ended up in some field in France without remembering a thing 😂
@Honest Reviewer I would never suggest he is. I was hoping they'd bring Grant back, even if it's a surprise appearance. If we have to deal with Keanu, we should get people we WANT back, like Grant.
I'm from the Netherlands and I'm a big fan of English TV series. Compared to England, Dutch actors and actresses are simply amateurs. Often very bad illogical dialogues and very bad acting with a few exceptions. In England they just open a can of actors and actresses and they can all act fantastically.Very realistic and with Phil and Grant I always have the feeling that they improvise a lot. Fantastic acting and a very fascinating bond between the two.
We need Grant back but at the moment the time isn't right. Danny Hardcastle and Jonah Tyler have been dealt with so we need a gangster too much for Phil to handle: Nish Panesar doesn't fit the role 😆
