The Most Beautiful Drive in Lake Tahoe 

Took this drive in April 2014 and absolutely loved it. You can't beat Tahoe!!

My family and myself are going to Tahoe this mid sept. very excited we have been there about 3 times since 2001 beautiful area ;)!!

The speed ours of an unique scenic wonder. Has a special place in my heart and brings back a flood of memories every time Inrevisit.

i live near there and yes it snows there quite alot in the winter time. its my main area for taking picture out in the out skirts of tahoe

Yeah thx looks fantastic, but why doesn't someone sit on the back of the bike with the camera and make a film with natural head movements looking at both sides, I just find it frustrating not seeing the view from both sides! But its certainly better than my view of going to work now in rainy Manchester in the U.K.! :P Keep Rockin! Ian P.S.Doesnt the lead singer with Whitesnake live around there?

If it's early fall with no road construction, about 1-1/2 hours. But you miss out on a lot going that fast (and there are some places where you can truly only drive 15 mph). Tahoe is a wonderful place to live. If you visit, please pick up after yourself and be respectful of the wildlife and natural habitat.

This is the most dangerous road on the west coast in the mountains.You should have driven it before the guardrails were built.It is gorgeous but scary as he-l.

Nice thought but you didn't get much but road. At 2:45 your driving on a ridge no wider than the road with Cascade lake on one side and Emerald Bay on the other, arguably one of the most beautiful spots in the country and all we see is road. Maybe a helmet cam next time.
