I lived in South Lake Tahoe for 25 years! Married a man from there, then when he died, I came back to Missouri to be with my family! I miss Tahoe so much! It's beauty is not to be believed! I loved it there!
I grew up on South Shore and live in Saitama Prefecture, Japan now... I went to Tahoe Valley Elementary and have great memories of skiing Heavenly, taking bike rides to Pope Beach and Camp Richardson, and just eating at Izzy's Burger Spa or Sprouts :D My mother, and my uncle where raised in Tahoe as well, and I must say; it's an excellent place to grow up! I look forward to visiting when I take a trip back to the states! :D
I'm gonna tell you this , I live in california and I always wanted to live close to the beach now that I'm living close to one of the most popular beaches in L.A. I feel so lucky ,specially during the summer and yeah someday I would love to live in Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite places In California , Lake Tahoe is beautiful
Very nice video. I used to live in Reno which is not too far from Lake Tahoe and I miss the area to this day. Thanks for posting this. Just to be a little helpful, you actually started this video in Washoe Valley not Reno.
But its beauty increases manifold when on snow. Heavenly sky resort (if spell correctly) is the most beautiful scene I have seen. courtesy National Geographic.
I grew up in a cult Calvary Temple for 27 years in Sterling, VA. I just escaped in August 2014. The pastor Star R. Scott is being investigated for molesting his nieces. They divide families, they control, manipulate, and take money from innocent people. My sister has cut me off, just as I cut my parents off for 7 years. Please help me start a movement to make cults illegal across the world. There's too many all over this planet, it's time for it to come to an end, it's to time to #endcultsnow #exposecalvarytemple #exposestarrscott Star Scott goes to Lake Tahoe frequently, I'm trying to get this news to go nationwide. Enough is Enough!
Rob, yes, some of the ex members have been interviewed by local FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS, The Washington Post, and The Loudoun Times Mirror. We are trying to go from local media to national now, the more coverage the better.
You are half right some of the Lake is in Nevada but the largest part of the lake is in Calif. A few years ago I lived in Lake Tahoe Calif. while at the same time I worked at Harveys Casino in Nevada. I really enjoyed getting friends and family mixed up when they came to visit, they were able to enjoy both sides of the Lake.
If you have not been recently this place if messed up now the lake is super low since there was no snow this year. Businesses are boarded up the place is starting to look like a deserted city now. So sad to see what climate change is doing to our beautiful earth
+stazang - Yeah..., Not really. In fact until just a couple years ago the earth had been cooling for 18 consecutive years. There is no proof of any kind even that "climate change" or global warming even exists, and no proof if it did, that it's a primarily man made phenomenon. What is well know, is that the earth ever since it's existence has gone (and goes through), cooling periods (and ice ages), and warming periods every so often (decades and centuries). In recent years, there has been increased solar activity, -that would be 98%+ of the reason for any such warming. There is no evidence that so called greenhouse gases even exist, let alone "trap" heat from the earth. In the 1970s they were worried we were going to have an ice age. People believe anything they are told, if it's drummed into their brains long enough. Do you own research.
+SkylineToTheSeaAndMe Dude the science is undeniable and any climate scientist who is not in the pockets of the energy/oil companies will tell you the science is clear about climate change due to Humans.
+stazang It's incredible how people can disregard groups like NOAA, and NASA - reaching so hard for their ideology to be true, that man, isn't powerful enough to hurt "Gods planet". So foolish, denying science that presents itself clearly. I feel really bad for the right wing base of denial.
