I love how they all say the new dress is "so unique & different"..... when it's literally the opposite. The new dresses are off the rack, boring, cookie cutter and can be found in any bridal shop or magazine. The borrowed dresses ARE the unique and one of kind dresses.

EXACTLY! THAT'S WHAT I ALWAYS SAY TOO!!!! Like, you can find the New dresses at every bridal store in the world. The Borrowed dresses do not even look "dated"; they look timelessly elegant. And aside from that one-of-a-kind factor, the symbolism behind the Borrowed dresses always leave an edge over the New ones for me. Rarely do I find the New ones as the better option. But maybe it's just me. As long as the brides are happy :P

Right! I never understood that! I would give anything to be able to wear my moms dress but 1) I’m not a size 2 and 2) the dog ruined it over 20 years ago.

The 3rd girl's borrowed dress was prettier than the one she chose. It's much more unique. The other one is beautiful too, but it's not as unusual.

yes, the borrowed one was just stunning! I didn't see this episode before, just this clip and I thought the borrowed dress for the 3rd girl was new at first

A contestant recently let it slip that when you pick the new dress, they still give you the old one back. So by choosing the new one, you get both.

I wouldn't put my daughter in such a position where she feels overwhelmed instead of happy and excited. It's too much pressure for the brides because they obviously care and respect their families 😕

Why take your family's dress and change it completely then don't wear it? I'm that Mom that would be pissed. Do not alter my dress just for fun.

Can't choose both dresses, as the rules of the contract of the show say that if you choose new dress, the borrowed dress is kept by the show until after the wedding

The first and last remade dresses were so lovely. I really wish the brides were feeling them. Alas, they chose the safer, more modern frocks. They still looked beautiful, though, and I hope they are joyful and blessed in their marriages, as I wish for all of the brides.

I wonder what they do with the borrowed dresses if the bride choses the new one ? I hope the don't throw them away that would be a waste.I really hope someone gets to wear them !
