Very nice trick with the gantry! Although I guess once you have enough pockeshells, incubators are no longer needed and eggs can be sent directly to the baby chamber to incubate naturally. Then the gantry setup is no longer neeeded.
Came here to say the same thing. There honestly kind of a noob trap. I use one in my puft farm so it's fully automatic with no wrangling, but I see them in so many builds and they use a ton of electricity.
@@bivsvideos Well, power was not what I meant, even though you are correct. I mostly pointed out the fact that one does need the entire incubators + gantry setup, if one has enough critters already and can leave eggs to incubate naturally in the open. Incubators are only needed to speed up the initial ranching buildup.
Incubators are the only way to level up husbandry, so it isn't completely useless.. About as useless as a dupe powering a lightglobe with a hamster wheel.
Very usefull design, might consider making it since lime nerver meets the demand for steel for me. One question though does the pathfinding of 32 crustaceans cause much lag?
Yo Greezy, I'm building this in my let's play right now, it's actually going to take 2 episodes 🤣lmao. I know you haven't recorded ONI in awhile, but perhaps you'd be interested in doing a collab ONI series? If you are hit me up here and I'll give you my idea
I'm humbled and glad to see my designs in play. Dang, I really ought to see what's been happening in ONI lately, haven't touched it in a real while, been swamped. Going to get properly online later this year so I can finally lab some stuff up again.
you know a pacu farm is free lime with little to no dupe effort other then a breeder farm. however you could also work on a single drop off location for the pokeshell. with them moving so much it might lag horrible on normal peoples pcs.
