Oh man, that is very interesting! It's no wonder things have been nightmarish for awhile in this series.

I mean, Kirby was well known for its eldritch abominations during the Dark Matter Era too, but glad that someone's been keeping the tradition alive. This was game was so cute and somewhat normal until the very end with creepy lab experiments, and an eldritch god, and... ramming that god into another dimension using a semi??

@@TayoEXE Yeah, it got really messed up near the end. I kind of figured it would be pretty normal for awhile, but I didn't think it would get to the point where there was lab experiments and a creature that absorbs other animals into it's body to make an amalgamation of different beasts. It's pretty messed up and I love it!

And this is the man who Nintendo put in charge of the cute marshmallow boy games. Then again, if Metroid and F Zero had Dark Souls lore writers on their development teams maybe those Franchises wouldn't have fallen on the wayside...

Oh, right. I am sorry I was mistaken about the battle with Masked Dedede in Superstar Ultra. I believe I was thinking of Triple Deluxe. Not sure how I got that mixed up lol. It's very unfortunate that he keeps getting possessed. He just can't catch a break. I think that Hal may have made him purposefully stupid so he can keep coming back as a foe now that he and Kirby aren't really enemies anymore. It's actually a great idea on their part.

@@grekeandshaw On the bright side, considering he’s been possessed by the literal incarnate of chaos and evil multiple times, he’s grown tough enough to not die from being possessed which is really really good!

@@itsturniptime3699 Oh yeah, that is very true! He really is a resilient leader for the Waddle Dees and I wouldn't have it any other way.

In superstar ultra he was slowly losing his sanity, to the point where his hammer is clearly sparking and his mask is cracked in some places. Cool but freaky details.

@@sonicdudeatdawn2 I assumed the mask cracking was simply battle damage while fighting Kirby and the sparks were from the Electro Hammer beginning to break since it’s clearly mechanical

@@grekeandshaw By the way, here us some lore about Elfilin, Forgo and Elfilis. Long ago, Fecto Elfilis invaded the Forgotten Land, and the scientists of Lab Discovera captured it. The scientists experimented in it and use its spatial teleportation ability to create the planet's warp technology. Elfilis also became a tourist attraction. However, 30 years later, a warp experiment incident occurred in Lab Discovera, which caused Elfilis to split into Elfilin and Forgo. Forgo represents the invasive ambitions of Elfilis and is tagged as ID-F86, whole Elfilin is the hidden compassionate soul of Elfilis, his full name is Fecto Elfilin and is tagged as ID-F87. After the incident, Elfilin escaped in the aftermath, but Forgo stayed in the lab and was in the realm of his own dreams, which is known as Forgo Dreams, Forgo Dreams also has some isolated Isles, which seems to be areas that you've explored in the main story. Anyways, the people of the Forgotten Land then used Elfilis's dimensional power to leave their world behind and entered a land of dreams. Later on, Leongar would found Forgo in Lab Discovera, and Forgo would use their psychic powers to manipulate him and use him to gather food, capture the waddle dees and also capture Elfilin so that they could fuse with him and once again become the ultimate life-form, Fecto Elfilis. And that's all for now. Also here is an interesting acronym that is in-game: Natural Plains Everbay Coast Wondaria Remains Winter Horns Originull Wasteland Redgar Forbidden Lands Lab Discovera NEW WORLD, which makes sense since this world is a new one that Kirby has never visited before. Also: Holine Alivel Lightron HAL, the developers of this game.

Oh OK. That would make a lot more sense if it was a long period of time. I do love the lore implications of this game. The villain of the story has one of the best stories I have seen in a Nintendo game.

I think dedede was here for like a few months actually the time difference was huge It took weeks for elfilin to recover while being taken care of by clawroline while it only lasted a few seconds from kirby 's perceptive

It really does. It made most of the playthrough pretty easy, but pretty much all Kirby games are easy in some way.

It's pretty crazy how they keep upping the creepy factor in these games. I can't imagine what the next one is going to look like.

But Dark Matter as the entity, as a concept, not at all, it's always connected in some way to every Kirby game

@@riospark8849 OK, yeah, you have a point there. Especially since Gooey is still around. He is essentially Dark Matter, but not only that, there seems to be lingering remnants of it around Popstar. It just hasn't been a big thing since Kirby 64.

Oh man, I knew about the porcupine, but I didn't realize the seal gave you the Bomb ability. It makes sense because he literally throws explosive balls at you.

It seems to be the reigning theory that the Waddle Dees are from this world. I hope they explore this further. And yeah, it would make sense that is why Kirby can possess inanimate objects. I think it also has to do with going through the dimensional portal.

That is a really cool detail! I didn't even notice that because of all the craziness when we were fighting Fecto Elfilis.

@@grekeandshaw that's understandable. Leongar also has the same detail with his music transitioning from one section to another. The difference is that Leongar has 1 transition. Whereas Fecto Elfilis has 14 total that plays depending on where the song plays.

Wait, so did they go to Popstar or did they get lost on the way? I hope they explore this in a future game.

@@grekeandshaw My guess is that the Waddle Dees are descendant from the Civilians that originally traveled to PopStar, & that their Tech regressed with the absence of The Scientists & Engineers which had closely guarded their secrets... There is potential evidence of Dees having 'evolved', given the existence of beings called Halacandran Dees from Halacandra;

I learned how to use the dodge more at the post game. However, I was jumping over attacks and such and I still would consider that dodging.

@@grekeandshaw :) The game isn't the easiest if you don't dodge. That really does make a difference, especially if you counterattack after dodging, which deals a TON of damage.

@@Lycanthromancer1 I realize that, but I wanted to make the video a little more thrilling by not abusing the dodge. It's the same reason I chose not to use an ability. I wanted to see what the boss had to offer.

Definitely one of the best final bosses in Kirby.

Lol! At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Kirby ate an entire planet and spit it back at the final boss to kill them.

Yeah! Kirby is a beast!

That seems to be the running theory for a lot of people and I am inclined to believe it. It just seems that there is so much evidence to support it. Of course, it isn't confirmed as of yet, but I hope they explore it further.

You can literally walk around most of his attacks anyway. I used the dodge roll more often in the post game.

That might be the case, however, Fecto Elfilis came from another world to this one because of it's ability to open portals. I don't know of they will explore where it came from in a future game, but it would be pretty cool if they did. It would really help flesh out a lot of stuff established in this game as well as other games in the franchise.

Our kirby is from another dimantion,and the portals are for traversing space time and dimensions,so it may still be this dimention's,but from somewhere far off,so that noone knew of him before he came to the forgotten land. But it is still possible that he is from yet another dimension,or even "another dimension" itself,but in that case,the question is,where is the forgotten land's kirby? Did our kirby never cross dimensions but only space to get to the forgotten land,so he is the forgotten land's kirby,even if that is not likely,considering shiver star is most likely the forgotten land is the forgotten land's shiver star, but then, who is the forgotten land's kirby? That's the real question

@@emiliavalentino7226 I don't think there is one from this world. I don't think every dimension has their own Kirby because there was also no King Dedede, Meta Knight or Waddle Dees in this one. They were all pulled from Popstar.

@@grekeandshaw but void exists in all dimensions, so, if there does not exist any kirby in this dimention yet, it means that a void is still somewhere in this dimension, so, the question would switch to, who is this dimrntion's void? We are kinda stuck in a loop, And for the thing that there is no meta knight, king dedede etc., I think you could try to fit them as members of the beast pack, like, dedede as leongar, meta knight as clowroline, because meta knight and dedede are really good friends, and the fighting stile of meta knight is pretty elegant, same for clowroline, leongar controls this world's waddle dees, the awooofis, and is a king, and his big, and has a similiar fighting style, Sorry, but now I have things to do, so, if you want to ask anything I probably won't respond soon, and I won't continue this list of dedede = leongar, meta knight = clowroline, etc. Even if the beast pack and and the ones from kirby's universe are pretty different, across the multiverse all dededes and meta knights can't just be recolors of the originals, right?

Yeah, those poor little Waddle Dees. They basically slave away for King Dedede and then are captured to help awaken an evil God of some kind.

I do know how, but I get flustered trying to figure out boss moves and forget to use it for some reason lol. I am making a conscious effort at getting better at using the dodge roll because it is pretty essential in the post game.

@@grekeandshaw yep, it is quite needed indeed XD. Also, the base sword ability thing is from experience, I fought fecto elfilis with no abilities and won first try, while with base sword ability I died once, mostly because of how little damage base sword does, and how little range it has, it drags out the fight, but it's honestly pretty fun, I recommend it tbh.

Yeah, I need to get better at using it. I start using it more in the post-game since bosses are so much tougher. I kind of freak out while trying to learn boss patterns.

It's not even the true final boss, which I did not spoil by the way. The games been out for 2 weeks, there is literal spoilers everywhere already.

This is the only time I have ever spoiled something in the thumbnail and I honestly did consider not doing it before I uploaded the video. It's a kind of dammed if I do damned if I don't situation.

@@Vincentvondoom Also, people in the comments did not seem to care if they spoiled the true final boss for us before we even reached that point of the game. A lot of people kept mentioning their name and it was pretty ridiculous. Not saying what I did was any better, but showing a picture of the boss in the thumbnail is not outright ruining it because I am not giving any context to the boss or even it's name.
