The Ultimate Cup Z is INSANE! | Kirby and the Forgotten Land Co-op Playthrough 

The cool thing about chaos elfilis is that the speedrun static against him is to use crystal spike out of all abilities, the crystal spike has the ability to pick up an infinite amount of stars dropped by attacks with no damage cap. After elfilis does his fireball crash move, pick up all the stars left behind, hurl it at him and you almost one-shot him

This is the first game where the True Arena is properly canon, or so it may seem. According to chatter amongst fans, Chaos Elfilis is meant to be a representation of Satan or The Devil seeing as how it went from being an angelic creature with horns somewhat resembling a halo to a red horned demon thing. Chaos Elfilis, as it seems, is this world’s equivalent to Dark Matter or Void. Fecto Elfilis began melting into liquid when you removed Elfilin which is similar to Void’s true form being all squishy and slimy. Chaos Elfilin also borrows attacks from Magolor with the portals and gigantic weapon sweeps, Void Termina (when using Zan Partizanne’s spear power), Drawcia’s bounce attack, and has a very similar damage effect as Nightmare when you hit him. We also of course see them use Cutters from either Marx or Miracle Matter, control a horde of tiny orbs that shoot lasers like Zero and the little Dark Matters, and it eventually ignites and lights itself into a fireball just like Dark Mind from Amazing Mirror. All of these characters are or have ties to Dark Matter besides Marx and Nightmare and then maybe Drawcia depending on who you ask. The fact Elfilin also broke off from Elfilis is fairly similar to what Gooey did or possibly even Kirby at one point. We also have to keep in mind that Fecto Efilis was stated to be a world conquered or destroyed, which is super similar to Void or Zero Two. This thing even absorbed Morpho Knight who supposedly is Kirby’s version of the grim reaper or embodiment of death and rebirth, which is terrifying. The fact that it decided to join up with Elfilin in the end implies Elfilin has all of the abilities of Chaos Elfilis which has strange implications for the future. I’m sure people will continue to theorize over this for months, maybe years.

To think a butterfly, a sphere, and 4 simple words could instill such dread and fear to kirby fans But this game and playthrough were great Glad to see you two completing kirby

Also crazy detail I discovered, If you zoom in on the Chaos Elfilis Figure, his eyes follow you.

Fun fact, Chaos Elfilis Phase 2 is one of the few, if not only, bosses in the game easier with no abilities. That's because you can inhale the orbs floating around him, which actually makes his circling laser attack easier to avoid. I actually did a run a couple days ago where I let go of my ability when I reached Chaos Elfilis and I was able to beat both phases abilityless on my 1st try.

The reason why toy hammer is so powerful compared to morpho knight sword/ masked dedede hammer, is because unlike those two having multi-hit charge attacks, toy hammer does all it's damage in one hit. In addition to that it charges faster, so it can get off those charge attacks much faster. Though the common strat for higher end bosses is to abuse perfect dodge-charge to spam lv 2 charge hits which just utterly shreds boss health. (it's fast enough to completely skip the meteor attack in Chaos Elfilis 2nd phase, by completely wrecking the boss health during the targetted laser spam, though granted with buffs)

I definitely love this version of the True Arena because it actually feels like it's part of the main story instead of a separate mode.

Phantom Meta Knight being so difficult makes me so happy. :D It's what he deserves. King. 😌✊ I like to think that this is the full, brutal power Meta Knight used against the Beast Pack. He definitely held back against Kirby - that was just a sparring match. _This_ is him actually fighting with lethal intent.

Since Elfilin is whole again, other people wonder if he will become Elfilis 2.0 but good. I think it would be cool.

The microphone is actually a reference to Walky enemy, which in previous games gives you the mic ability.

Attacks used by other bosses in Chaos Elfilis' second form: 43:33 Marx's Black Hole 44:11 Marx's Cutter, also used by other bosses 45:10 Drawcia's Deadly Sun, also used by other bosses 52:34 Marx's Splash Rush, also used by Sectonia Soul 52:47 Drawcia's Deadly Bound, also used by other bosses

I also noticed how Chaos Elfilis’ “Soul” pulls a Void Termina and copies moves from other bosses. Star Dream Soul OS core fight cutter attack, Drawcia Soul bouncing, Magolor black hole. And the Master Crown boss in Magolor Epilogue copies the laser move that goes all around.

Chaos Elfilis is just too cool. Those traits inherited from Morpho and Zero Two's colors make it an awesome design, and it's even cooler if we add his second form and the moves of previous bosses like: - Creating star portals and shoot beams at them or even going itself inside them to hit Kirby from different angles like Magolor - Drawcia's, Sectonia's and Void's bounce attack, and the fireball too. - Marx's and Sectonia's cutter attack - That move in which it turns its "body" into some sort of liquid and launches towards Kirby like Marx, Sectonia and Drawcia - And even the ability to proyect giant copies of something (like itself) like Void Termina did with the Master Crown - Oh yeah, and the ability to make appear blades and launch them towards Kirby like Galacta Knight and the Marx's black hole

You actually can damage Chaos Orbfilis while in fireball mode, including when he's flying over your head. Its chip damage and involves getting close to a blazing sun, but you can do it!

Shoutouts to Michael for that important piece of advice on how to dodge Chaos Elfilis' Deadly Sun attack. Also, shoutouts to both of you for completing the nearly-impossible Ultimate Cup Z! (Although, I wouldn't say nearly-impossible because there are so many Copy Abilities that can destroy bosses in no time flat. Regardless, great effort and congratulations!)

I didn't think forgo could take morpho knight's power. This REALLY tells you just how powerful morpho knight is for forgo to gain a new body without even needing he's other half. Hmm so where could it go from here 🤔

Congratulations on beating The Ultimate Cup Z! It seems like Elfilin has become the ultimate life-form once again now that it has reunited with Forgo. Maybe he and Forgo can now fuse together to transform into Fecto Elfilis? Who knows, but nonetheless it's still a really great ending and closure for Forgo and Elfilis.

The Ultimate Cup Z is awesome. I was able to beat it on my first attempt but only because I went in with 2 health bars, a backup 2 health bars and on the last phase of Chaos Elfilis I had to use my amiibo to get a third double health bar. And even then I only barely came out on top and was one hit away from dying. Such an awesome boss and the music during the first bit with the orb creeps me out in the best way.

I just 100% completed this game, mostly playing with a friend of mine too, and I used this series to see what the game is about with co-op. I really like it, Forgotten land might not really be designed with co-op in mind much but I still think it's good fun, isn't it? Having seen these bosses I knew the attacks and won the ultimate cup z on our first try! We also got in with 200 seconds of speed up and attack up, the second health bar and a maximum tomato in the x slot...

You can actually hit him while he's in his fireball phase. I discovered a video a couple months ago of someone hitting him with hammer. I incorporated it into my speed strats whenever I re-fight Chaos Elfilis by, on his first fireball attack, hitting him with a fully charged giant sword attack as he flies overhead. It actually reaches him from the ground, surprisingly! And then I hit him with another one, fully charged holding the button and waiting for him, waddling over to him and releasing B the instant he lands back in the battlefield right as he ends his Drawcia Soul attack. I also get a couple of cheeky midair hits off him as he passes below, when I climb the pillars. Oh and as the lasers come from the balls, the reason there are varying amounts of lasers each time he fills the battlefield with uppercuts is because you had different amounts of the orbs destroyed when he starts the attack, and then when they regrow they don't start emitting new lasers. You can actually end the laser attack prematurely through this. You can also end the cross-lasers attack, the one with the two lasers that take half your health, by destroying enough orbs, or even break all of them before an attempt and Chaos Elfilis just skips over it and doesn't do it.

Noone really apprciates the pipes of the female vocalist in forgo phase two at 52:30 she hits a high note that i couldnt hit if i swallowed a parade floats worth of helium

Chaos Elfilis (1st Phase) laser beam with dimensional rifts is actually based on Magolor's Laser beam attack from "Return to Dreamland" Chaos Elfilis (TRUE Final Form) if you pay attention to the background colors changing, It means it's about to use a different attack on you each time it changes, similar to "Astral Birth Void." The color backgrounds go in a pattern moveset for the true final boss. (Black, Orange, Red, Violet, and White.) P.S the pattern repeats itself until you die or kill it. 1.) Dark background = Black Hole 2.) Orange = Flaming Meteor 3.) Red = Fast Blood Shower 4.) Violet = Bouncing Smash with big red shock waves with lightning bolts surrounding the area. 5.) White = Disco lasers, Teleporting with cutters, and two lasers aim on you or your Partner.😅 A little Kirby Trivia MOST of the SOUL Bosses of Kirby like use the move cutter except Magolor. Black Hole was used for Marx, Marx Soul, Magolor, Magolor Ex, Magolor Soul, Star Dream, and Star Dream Soul OS.🖤🌀🌪️ Flaming Meteor was created by Dark Mind's True Form before Drawcia Soul, Soul of Sectonia, and Astral Birth Void use this attack in future battles. 🧡🔥☀️ Blood shower was actually created by Drawcia Soul, then Marx Soul, Soul of Sectonia, and Chaos Elfilis use this move in different ways.❤️🌧️☄️ The Giant Bouncing Sphere Smash was also Drawcia Soul's move before Soul of Sectonia, Void Termina, Void Soul, Astral Birth Void, and Chaos Elfilis use this move too.💜🏃🏾‍♀️🌑

Great work, hilarious commentary (the Mushroom joke at the end killed me), and proud to see another co-op duo go the distance! My sister and I beat this together as well but we somehow managed on our first try… not bragging as we had a Life Up, backup life up, and 16 minutes of boosted attack active. We weren’t messing around, yet even then it got really close near the end lol This is my favorite Kirby game is the series with one of my favorite final bosses ever! I haven’t had this much fun facing a final boss outside of a Tales of game! Hope you both enjoyed the game as much as I did catch you again next time.

Took me and my friend around 8 tries to beat Chaos Elfilis, we didn't upgrade the Morpho Knight ability for the fight either, safe to say we were very happy when we beat it

I actually really love Chaos Elfilis because of how it looks (as it looks really cool) and how difficult and unpredictable it can be with its attacks. It’s actually tied with Forgo Dedede as my third favorite boss in the game. I just love the unpredictability of that boss and I can definitely see that you had a very tough time with it. Just imagine how much tougher it would be if you didn’t power up the Morpho Knight Sword ability lol!! 😂 It probably would’ve taken like two hours lol!! 😂 But, I’m glad that Elfilin is now one again and I think Elfilin could be the most powerful traveling companion that Kirby ever had. And since you beat the Ultimate Cup Z, you can now get the figurine from the Usher Waddle Dee at the theater as the last two cutscenes are from the Chaos Elfilis and Chaos Elfilis’ soul battle. Also, keep on swearing a lot as it makes some great content in my opinion lol!! 😂 And I just realized that the next video should have that shoutout to me if I’m correct since the next video is the last one lol!! 😂 So, since you have battled every boss now in the game, of all of the bosses if you combine all of them in the main game, Meta Knight, the illusory bosses, Morpho Knight and Chaos Elfilis, who is OFFICIALLY your favorite and least favorite boss in the game if your original opinions changed (or have your original opinions from before not changed at all) and why?! if i’m not mistaken, the morpho knight sword also has the most moves! 1. rapidly pressing B: basic sword attack 2. press and hold B: spinning sword attack (first two phases), or giant morpho sword attack (third and final phase) 3. press and hold shoulder button and B: unleash ID-F86… spirits? (i don’t know what else to call them lmao) 4. press shoulder button, then A, then A again then B: rapid sword attack in mid air then ground smash 5. while in midair, press and hold shoulder button and B: soundwave attack in other words, the morpho sword is absolutely broken

Tbh The ultimate cup Z was pretty insane xD I thought I was gonna have trouble with Chaos Elfilis but it turns out I was able to memorize his attack patterns and the weapon I used was the morpho knight sword+⭐️ and good god it’s such a broken ability I finished it within 12mins and 41 seconds which was kind of hilarious because they are 12 bosses to fight lmao xD I may attempt it again but with the hammer ability!

I find it ironic how Chaos Elfilis can teleport, yet he sometimes decides to jump and fly around instead.

The fact Chaos Elfilis is a tournament boss is a little strange. The Waddle Dees just happen to have a competition where you can have a chance to fight a godlike entity of destruction and it’s somehow completely normal.

Late, RU-vid didn't give me notifications, there is a way to make chaos elfilis so much harder, there is a bug in the game with hammer that lets you bounce super high, doing this and leaving the arena during orb form of chaos elfilis causes phase 1 to spawn in, meaning you can fight both phases at once, it's super challenging, highly recommend it, tip, use spring breeze mode and fall on the stairs cuz they are solid.

Outside of what's obviously very broken, I personally did two more runs after just getting the completion for Ultimate Cup Z, one for Needle and one for Tornado. Aside from using buffs or just picking the most op abilities, Storm Tornado and Crystal Needle are actually pretty good against the final arena boss since they either kill all the orbs around it or pick up the orbs and use them as ammunition for throwing them back. Got around 14 minutes with both abilities with no buffs/stock item, slightly faster with Crystal Needle. Also, Tropic Wood's barriers are more like a maze; there's a path through them and if you go the right way you get a lot of free time to just hit him as many times as you want.

28:56 had me all like "NOOOOOO!!!!!!" Grabbing 3 or more Tomatoes in an Arena Rest Stop break is a huge crime. Well, to me it is. It brings back bad memories of my friend rushing to grab all the Tomatoes in Kirby Super Star during the first Arena Rest Stop break. I couldn't stop him and explain to him in time that the Tomatoes would have to last us the whole Arena playthrough. I'm pretty sure we didn't make it to the end of that Arena playthrough.

All the bosses have defense frames during certain animations. If you wait a little bit after the opening roar after they spawn in before hitting them with the charged attack you can one-shot the mid-bosses with upgraded Morpho Knight lmao And the charged shot takes out nearly half the health of most major bosses too

Congratulations on clearing The Ultimate Cup Z. Words can't describe how pissed off I was when I attempted the mode and died so many times to Chaos Eliflis Soul, to the point that I gave up on it. Idk if I'll ever return back to it as I have pretty much done everything the game offers. I have a 94% completion on my file as of now.

I warned you you'd need Morpho Sword +♡ and at least the second health bar (to hang onto the Sword Beams longer), so I'm glad to hear you admitting your underestimation of its necessity - even if you chose to half-ass things! But that's the thing about The Ultimate Cup Z: You start off feeling overpowered, so you allow yourself to make mistakes, taking damage here and there - using up what little food is supplied to you; Then when you reach around Forgo Dedede, everything onwards hits like a Bus, causing so much damage you waste the rest of the food just to survive the next battle; And then there's the Triple Threat of Forgo Leon, Morpho Knight and Chaos Elfilis. I'm actually surprised you managed to hang onto your remaining Health all the way to the Soul Battle, just on Bandana Waddle Dee and the minimal healing the Morpho Sword gives! And on the subject of Soul Elfilis, it's no surprise you were overwhelmed by it. Nobody on a Blind Playthrough would instantly pick up on all the BS attacks that thing launches at you - and starting the fight with _the freaking BLACK HOLE ATTACK_ is a serious Low Blow! Those Lasers do _way_ too much damage, they also fire too quickly to hit with an attack as a method of prevention, and the Laser Field moves completely at random - at least until it decides to send a quicklaser at you from behind you from offscreen! Then it goes Drawcia on you, faking you out before sending boulders falling towards you. It's actually surprising that it was this attack that did you in the first time - it's one of the Easiest attacks this boss has, and the longest-telegraphed one too, as you discovered! But yes, that Black Hole can easily come out of nowhere and end anyone's run, so don't feel bad about that. Having to endure the Chaos Elfilis fight before it's Soul every time you replay it is another kick in the teeth, too. This _single round_ is why I recommended the heavily-stacked preparations - the weardown throughout the rest of the Tournament is what sets you up for failure, so powering through them gives you more of a chance to get through the complete BS of Chaos Elfilis' arsenal! You may find that, at least in the Soul fight, you could even have an easier time beating Chaos Elfilis *without* a Copy Ability, since as long as you know when to attack and when to dodge, you can inhale the orbital blobs and fire them at it, which lowers the risk of damage while it's running that Laser Field. The number of closely-packed Stars it drops with its attacks also means you'll do much more damage to it per hit, provided you manage to hit it! But with that massive trial out of the way, it's smooth sailing to reaching 100% - unless you're bad at Tilt 'n' Tumble Ball Puzzles...

I was about to comment explaining the plot of the true arena, and then I saw my own comment. And then I remembered this came out a year ago. And then I realized forgotten land came out over a year ago. And then I sat down and contemplated. Also did you watch that second lore video I sent?

The 2nd time I faced Chaos Elfilis, I accidentally lost my copy ability just before beating the first phase. At first I thought I was toast until I found that I could suck the little orbs surrounding the thing, sometimes several at once...... Kinda made the final fight seemed trivial at the end.

Although i'm a bit upset that you used retries instead of starting over, I think that it was a great video overall!

So here's a fun little easy-to-miss detail I've been having a minor meltdown over: for his flying slash attacks, Morpho Knight's sword briefly turns into the fucking _Galaxia_ - like, hello?? What??? Why does he have that?! It's the fact that the flying slashes are Meta Knight's signature move, too - just like Morpho Knight has copied the signature abilities of other characters he has absorbed... Uh oh. Meta Knight? You good, buddy? Everything okay?? Is there something you would like to share with the class??? What does it all mean?! 🙀 This, coupled with the fact that Meta Knight's theme for this game is titled "Sword of the Surviving Guardian" for some reason, has me Concerned. Seriously, what's going on?? But also, this might mean that HAL is finally hinting at some Meta Knight lore, and that has me very excited. :D But also concerned. Extremely concerned. 😔✊

Time for the final installment of Kirby and the Forgotten Land bosses in a nutshell let's do this! Phantom Meta Knight: Ok I know last time the normal version didn't exactly fight honourably last time but I swear this time it will be an actual honorable sword duel. "Phantom Meta Knight proceeds to use Boulders and Cloning" (Facepalming) Goddammit! Chaos Elfilis (1st Form): Anime battle 2.0 Chaos Elfilis (2nd Form): "Does almost half my heath in a single attack" HA HA I'M IN DANGER!

Try doing this without the upgrated power ups. It's insane! Far more harder than just Kirby.

At least until I beat it the first time, I don't like to go into arenas with powered up abilities. Simply knowing that it can be difficult isn't good enough for me. I have to actually experience that difficulty myself. That's why I do it. And, I can never be satisfied with beating Meta Knight unless it's with a sword.

Hope you do the challenge solo and no powers. Bandana Dee as a constant DoT as well as divert some attacks away from Kirby helps a little too much.

With the upgraded toy hammer, all you need to do is charge it to full, release the swing, and one shot mini bosss and do 2/3 of the bosss health. Except for chaos elfilis where you do around maybe 1/5.

Weird, I did not hear that sentence from the final boss Chaos Elfilis. Elfilis soul like form always say "Here we are" and "F86," it is El mess up dialogue from his past. Did you hear it 🧐?

Something I didn't see you mention, the song that plays at the first part of the second phase of the ultimate final boss (that's a mouthful) is, well, this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--WMonWNdqzg.html. And the attack at 54:43 is Marx's attack. In fact, the burning sphere, black hole, and splatter attack that chases you down are also from Marx's Soul, although the burning sphere isn't an exact copy, it's more just a very similar attack style. And they also take the laser attack and bouncing attack from Void, who takes the bouncing attack from Drawcia Soul, who also has the burning sphere, cutters, and splatter attack. Sectonia's Soul also has those three. Wild.

What is so hard about this thing it gives you like 10 hours to read it's attack chaos elfilis is so easy I beat 2 of them at once with no copy abilities no boosts in wild mode and set a record for the fastest time to defeat it

the final charge on the morpho blade just eats through boss health. ive beaten the entire collasium x in under 10 min becuse of it

so i know this is gona make u mad but when you dodge with morpho sword if you spam it even if it seems like u dodge into the lazers morpho swords dodge is so stupidly busted that by spaming it any time this boss atacks (minus metor and black hole atacks) you never take any damage even sitll this boss took me way too meany trys than id like to admit

wow nice job on the ultimate cup z i actually had a hard time with caos elflis as well especially phase 2 but i eventually beat him hell i actually used the toy hammer against him which made him seem like a joke because of how utterly Powerful the toy hammer + is which is honestly why i love it so much as i tend to focus on power in my games especially rpgs and such i made a video about using the toy hammer against caos elflis too and by the way my mom heard you guys cursing and was not really happy hearing it from my phone but i honestly thought it’s hilarious lol but anyways awesome video keep up the good work my friend
