Agreed, But man I would have loved to see Tom Wu be the new Shang Tsung in that 2021 Travesty. That's how incompetent the movie direction/ production team was, they literally picked Chin Han from Marco Polo instead of the most badass character on that TV show, hundred eyes, to play Shang Tsung. That would have been bad ass

There can only be one its like Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine Cary Tagawa always will be the best Shang Tsung i respect Chin hans efforts but he didnt do well as The legendary sorcerer in my opinion he just didnt capture The cunning the intelligence the fierceness and pure swagger of Shang the way that Cary Tagawa does each and every time

Same here, I grew up with MK in the '90s. I despise that MK 2021 Cole Young trash. It's not because of nostalgia, it's cuz the movie was fucking terrible and written poorly. I don't blame the actors, they did what they could with the bullshit they had but, who TF is Cole Young and why does he exist? The 1995 movie had Art Lean, another character that doesn't exist but, he wasn't the main character and plus he was killed off.

It's a 2 part series look up mortal Kombat legacy originally these were the actors that were gna be in the reboot before gttn that shit we got this series has a much better lineup than the movie in itself

@@karazorel4094 Yeah but watch the very last scene with the Liu Kang vs Johnny & Stryker, then watch the cliffhanger & credits. It very clearly says "A Kevin Tancharonen FILM". It was initially supposed to be released as a movie, but they didn't know how to fans would receive it due to a lot of their changes in the Lore, plus it wasn't a really big budget, it was more of a film pitch than anything, they decided to release it as a two-part series instead, and they just didn't release it in the chronological order that they meant for it to do. I pretty much have my own personal video with the whole thing in the right order the way it's supposed to be (at least I'm sure its pretty close), and it is damn near perfection (as a FILM PITCH, I definitely had many notable flaws just like the 2021 travesty but this is WAY BETTER. I would have preferred a release this in a 20-21 theaters then that 2021 movie, because the 2020 one movie is exactly a film pitch and nothing more, I do not consider that a real Mortal Kombat movie at all, and it is literally a travesty of what MK represents.) Basically, I would have accepted back then that they were on the right track but didn't get everything quite right, such as the Kuai Liang arc & others, but Then give it a big budget and revamp it a bit, good to go. Same with the 2021 movie, it's pretty much a horrible film, with great ideas that they did not execute in a good manner at all. If they went and rebooted the movie really quickly in 2025 or 2026 at the very latest, I would respect the hell out of them way more because they can do way more than a whack trilogy that they only have planned with the travesty of a movie being the building block of it. Just do what I have in mind, which is five movies and 12 shows spread in between the five.) Great acting, great story, the fights are awesome, and I added my own OST to make it to enhance the whole experience. I would put it on RU-vid, but I know they wouldn't let me keep it up, unless I release it in parts maybe. But yeah it's definitely a movie

It's an experimental series done by *forgot who* and NRS approved it to be canon at one point. It was supposed to set up for an actual movie but then....2021 happened. It was great for it's time. However, I agree on the Biker Suits. Should they took the time to put in more production for some accurate costumes, oh yeah!!

In these universe, the sub zero brothers personality was swapped. Bi-Han was the good guy, and Kuai Liang was the bad guy.
