New K-pop stans will never understand how much jennie was hated on every single piece of media , even on videos unrelated to her ... but they also never learn the hate of le sserafim, illit etc is going crazy. I just dont get it. Why do people enjoy having other humans, we are just creatures on a planet, which is a blimp in the universe, and you are wasting time on hating rather than enjoying life

Every idol gets hate but it’s just crazy for Jennie. The thing is, when other idols get a big amount of hate it isn’t recognised because it isn’t Jennie. I think the hate is also a part of how bp got popular. I’m just glad the hate doesn’t affect Jennie now as much as it did it the past.

this shows the double standards in kpop. male idols get hated/back lash for genuine reasons like SA, drugs, saying n word, being a bad person. whereas female idols get hate/back lash for having a RBF, favoritism (done by company), for eating, for having weight, for being skinny, for existing. And this has not died down. Suzy, jennie, yuna and now wonyoung. And i am sure later in 5th gen people will find the most popular 5th gen female idol to hate .These are famous girls that get extremely hated for no valid reason and that makes them common. They are all very pretty, gets favored by company cause they are pretty, which makes them loved by knetz, which makes kpoppies jealous and will find reasons to hate. They will also choose to ignore their talents and will watch few clips of these idols lacking to shit in them. We are in 2024 where we all talk about being "girls girl" and then turn around to shit on successful female idols.

Jennie is honestly such an icon for me I look up to her hard work and ethics and I completely agree with the fact she’s an adult I couldn’t imagine someone telling me what to do honestly 24/7 and the fact people were sl-tshaming her for dating Kai and possibly dating v angers me sm like why do people care so much (this is coming from someone who literally biases v and Jennie )

with the Dua Lipa interview there were so many people saying like "Oh what does she mean that she didn't know how to move her body and needed to learn about it more she's an idol she spent years training to be a dancer she should do better" and I thought that these people saying things like this were incredibly insensitive and idiotic. Yes, she is an idol but before that, SHE'S HUMAN! Leave her alone, she slays so much harder than any of the people hating on her ever could!

You were also right about a certain song that was supposed to be 2NE1's song. As If It's Your Last (AIIYL) was supposed to be for 2NE1 but in 2017, (A year after disbandment) YG gave it to BP. And yes, you were also right about YG calling BP being a "Prettier" version of 2NE1. As someone who stanned BP in 2019/2020, you got that info right

People can just be so cruel and you never know what's going on behind the scenes. In a lot of BP vlogs we saw Jennie getting massages and in pain bc of her body, but non fans would never know. Same thing with Tiffany of SNSD. For years she was the butt of a joke for being the worst dancer until she revealed had scoliosis all this time a decade later.

I find it so annoying how kpop fans always say to never hate or bully idols because of the whole sulli situation but then are so quick to bully idols when they are in a bullying scandal even when there isn’t evidence or enough evidence that they actually bullied someone. The reason Jennie was not dancing good was that at the time she had a ankle injury

I am not a fan of Exo nor am I a Blink I personally fully believe that Jennie is a great performer She clearly has talent , that’s why she was considered an Ace But to this day I still don’t understand why her performances are usually lackluster. It’s disappointing really I mean yes she could have been tired and yes she could have been injured but I at least want her to execute the moves , it doesn’t need to be perfect or anything but i want to see it executed properly or at least to the best of her abilities But even then this is not a good reason to hate on her and I still feel like haters of Jennie are really just looking for anything to hate her and is not acknowledging any other reason or possibilities (P.s I’m not a native English speaker so sometimes I don’t use the correct words and my comment may sound different from what i intended, please note that I am not hating on Jennie, I know being hated like that can be really stressful. I am just pointing out what I see and I’m happy to accept any criticism about my comment)

Can't believe people can't link the "lazy scandal" with the amount of hate she got. How is she supposed to perform with energy and to look happy all the time when she was literally bullied everyday by strangers who hated and attacked every aspect of her life. Then she also broke her ankle which added to the scandal. People really don't understand how much violence she went through. That's really crazy.During a live in which she announced that she broke her ankle, people were ignoring her, or told her to die and then asked about the other members without talking to her. Even now, during their latest tour. They were so good in Europe and America, they were no controversy but then they went in asia (like indonesia etc) and she got so much hate there. "Fans" even gave her a black ocean and would throw her objects in the face in order to HURT her. But once again people complained about her dance only, while in Paris she got hate for being "too much", "overshadowing her members" and "being too sexualized". Jennie can't win either way. When she performs her best she's a slut and she tries to overshadow her members and she has favoritism, and when she stand back, she's unprofessional and lazy. How is she supposed to give her whole when she is bullied and insulted for being sick on stage ? Really people don't realize how hard it is to receive this crazy amount of hate. Jennie is super strong for not give it up, falling into depression or even to join other idols who succumbed. People don't realize how dangerous their behavior is. We've lost so many artists already. And Jennie is still strong even with all of this. That's the reason why I would never hate on her for it. And even if she neglects her dance sometimes she still carries perfectly her parts so I think she has the right to rest on her members, that's what a group is for. I would honestly never judge her for this or be disappointed cause it is being selfish to only think about our pleasure when she's going through hell and still try to give us a smile.

Jennie deserves criticism not hate The point you talk abt her having a podcast with Dua lipa ( she said during covid she learnt more abt her body ) isn't it funny that still on their 2022/23 tour she was still lagging, also there's a point you say that Jennie is an adult ( I totally agree) and can do anything but let's not forget that the Idol movie received major criticism that the show had to be cancelled, her receiving criticism frm her involvement (& I quote she said she loves Sam levinson's work who's known to be a weirdo) shld be fine But at the same time I understand how the Jennie haters will focus on hating rather than actual criticism

the idol critiques were a bit more nuanced than that, as for her monitoring her image thats stupid af but there is still some truth to the fact it was a horrible role to take for her career

I'm not buying her excuses for the laziness that's just my opinion before some of you get mad and heated over critism I'm here to tell you right now idgaf , anyways , her born pink performances gave me second hand embarrassment ngl I don't keep up with her much but when the videos of her lackluster performances come on my fyp I can't help but laugh , "My injuries" lisa had severe back and neck pain during born pink , jisoo had covid not that jisoo can perform anyways but that's that , idk about rose "I can't perform well in high heels" valid but most of these clips she's not wearing high heels "I'm still learning" also valid but why is your performances during debut 10× better isn't that what you was trained to do?
