And it looks so basic. Bland Caesar salad, big lobster, garlic, and melted butter. I mean yeah it looks tasty but not “best steakhouse in a giant city” good 😂
@@CrashN2Me1000oh weird I commented this on an entirely different video I have no idea why it’s also posted here! I can see why you’re confused but I’m leaving it up here to confuse more people in the future now lol.
Yeah I agree, super reasonable for the location. I was expecting it to be much more expensive, for sure something to put on the list for a one and done experience.
@@kuwtn While I agree that we need to get rid of tipping culture, it's not really going to result in cheaper meals at the expense of the restauarant. The restaurants will likely just raise food prices to match what people were previously paid in tips.
Please tip your waitresses or waiter, they work hard and make 2 dollars a hour. They have a family to support, you afford those prices, you can afford to tip. Or stay your behind at the house. Just saying!!
Just eat raw garlic 🧄 or onion 🧅 Tip: must be RAW! Asian people rarely have cholesterol problems because they eat a lot of raw garlic and onion after or while eating fatty foods. Wonder why doctors don’t tell their patients this!!
I’ve lived here in Vegas since 1977 and ate dinner there about a year ago. I’m pleased to say it hasn’t changed one bit from back in the day. It is still old Vegas at it’s best.
It’s nice to know that the food hasn’t changed after all of these years. I understand prices must change at times… but THE TASTE of my favorite dish is way more important to me 😊
I couldnt imagine a more annoying experience than eating with food “content creators”. The food would go cold from them trying to get the best shot Truly cringe
Being a popular spot among the mobsters is actually pretty telling of the quality of the food. If even the mobsters keep coming back then imagine how great the food is for the actually paying customers.
It may look appealing, but the kind of lobster they drowning in butter is called Rick lobster. And there’s a reason they’re drowning it, Rock lobsters are mostly found in water with higher temperatures. So you not getting that fresh ocean taste like you would in crab legs. Maine lobster is the way to go imp, those are caught in lower temperatures. Maine lobsters requires absolutely nothing season wise and it still melts in your mouth.
Nope. Large lobsters like that are bland and the texture is rubbery, that’s why they drown them in garlic butter. The smaller lobsters (less than 2lbs) are way more tender and the meat is much tastier. They should be getting their lobsters from the East Coast, not Australia ffs
My Husband and I ate here when we were in Vegas about $200 so calm down people not crazy expensive but best steak we’ve ever had and I am always trying to tell people about it,,, it was definitely an experience and yes old Skool Mob feel to it AMAZING 🤩
Ate at this place while I was in Vegas this past summer - fantastic! Yeah, it's expensive, but well worth it and no more expensive than any other nice restaurant.
@@true-n-living Party of two and the bill was +$500 USD. That included at least one item from every menu they have and the tip. I thought it was value for the money.
@@mikepetitti Jesus! I ate at Hell's Kitchen for 130 bucks lmao, and that food was phenomenal. The meal itself was like 89 bucks and I would definitely go back
Go while you're still young! Vegas is one of the few places that actually lives up to its hype. Do you like music and entertainment? Amazing food? Meeting people from all over the world? Electricity? (Lol, you will see A LOT of lights!)
Well they actually have a lot of really good local restaurants (that are NOT extremely expensive) and flights to Vegas are cheaper that other places. For instance I’m in the Midwest and there’s round trip flights to Vegas for new years that are $98. If you like shopping and commercial sight seeing that’s also pretty good. (Two different outlet malls, fashion show mall is pretty good and Caesar’s palace mall is just fancy looking & full of high end stores.) Personally I don’t care for drinking/clubbing/gambling but I really LOVE all the local restaurants. I’m convinced that the best chefs come here to work at the casinos and then open their own affordable restaurants vs opening in LA or NY.
@@christophersmith9237 ive been to vegas many many times and never heard of it. why? because neither of end of the strip is a perfect location. many locals will tell you once you step off the strip las vegas itself sucks. which i can also attest to.
I live in Western Australia, and our crayfish (they call it rock lobster here, but they don't have claws) are sought out, all over the world. My ex was a crayfisherman, so i got to enjoy it a for free.
I live in western australia and catch these lobsters all the time! They are so freaking delicious! Another good way to cook them is to dice up the tails raw and crumb them in panko then deep fry them and have popcorn lobster 🤤🤤🤤
I had no idea you had a second channel that is vlogs!! Wtf been missing out this whole time?! Lol you should promote it at the beginning or end of your other channel..im sure others would love to see your vlogs. ❤❤
Yup, was there last Tuesday and the food was Amazing. Our reservations was for 4:30, that is when they open and there was already a line. The best steak I've ever had in my life 😋. There were 5 of us and we went in knowing the bill would be 🤯🤣. We had 3 different people trending to us. It was a wonderful experience, and we left completely satisfied with their customer service and food. So glad I was able to experience this 😁.
@Kimmy1787 About 300 including drinks and tip. depending on what you order. The cheapest steak is $70 and it is a petite filet mignon. Because this is really a one off type of situation for me, it was a really nice experience albeit expensive. I was in town for a conference and made the reservation about 7 weeks in advance. This is not a place you can just walk into. Reservations are a must. And they do have a dress code.
@@Kimmy1787it's a Tourist trap especially with all the influencers hyping it up. There is no line waiting etc. it's actually went down hill since the 80s. Only thing keeping it open is nostalgia.
Dang all the talk about the price of the food, I was expecting it to be so much more! That is about the amount spent for 2 fine dining here in Portland, Oregon. Especially after adding a few cocktails 😅
YAAAAAHHHHSSS!!! My dad took me there on one of our whirlwind 48 hrs in Vegas for a trade show trips. Man, I’m tearing up right now with the memories! ❤️
Oh that butter drizzle kinda makes me wish i could eat seafood and that blow torched butter on the steak has me me feeling 5 kinds of hungry right now! 🤤
My wallet went looking for my credit card and I went looking for them outside, I found my wallet performing cpr on my credit card cz it has fainted over the restaurant's bill🤣🤣🤣
This is one of the BEST comments*_* I have EVER read. I am here in tears. This is what you call a lol comment. Loveeeeee it. Thanks for the amazing laugh.
Videos like this are why I flew to Vegas from the East Coast just to go to this restaurant. The ambience and the wait staff were superb. In my opinion though, the food wasn't all I was expecting it to be. My husband's steak was decent but my lamb was overcooked and so was my lobster. We only spent about $500 including the tip. I guess the southerner in me needed more seasoning but I'm told that's not really something you get Vegas😂
@@Thehubb1 🫣🫣 when I go on trips I plan them around restaurants I've heard about and the food looked amazing!! You got to give me a break for that one😁
@@plummet3860You're correct. Went during March madness last month. Stayed in Vegas for 2 weeks and tried this place. It didn't look as delicious as what's presented and hella expensive. But I definitely ate at a restaurant called LAVO. Delicious food and cheaper (still experience but more reasonable).
Any Vegas old timers here that can compare this place to 'The Flame' that was lost to re-development about 1993? That was the icon of beef in Vegas for ages.
Yes you are so right.just like energy. We are energy,so I know for a fact that we should all be able to experience, the positive side of that energy every single day. Abundance is our birth rite.❤
too much butter already, all you end up tasting is butter and not the lobster. its best eaten without butter poured on it, and prepared a different way.
@@lauriwhite5997 go melt some butter and pour it over your food, all you will taste is mostly butter, and not the food you poured it on. WOrks the same with lobster, you taste the butter and not the actual flavor of the lobster itself. Like pouring lots of butter on popcorn, now all you taste is mainly butter and salt.
Hmm, too much butter? Can’t taste the lobster? You must not have had plump, large lobster tails like these in the video! One bite into them, you will definitely be able to taste the sweetness of the butter and sweetness of the lobster meat!! I can’t eat lobster without butter or some type of sauce!
Argh, so sorry you’re missing out. 😮 I hope maybe you will grow out of it someday? If you have a craving for shellfish, are you then able to eat it? What kind of allergic reaction do you experience? I hope it’s not too risky to put you in the hospital or cause you not to be able to breathe or swallow. I have little nephews and nieces with food allergies and have witnessed their allergic reactions to where we’ve had to call an ambulance because they didn’t have their EpiPen (sp?). Again, I pray you will be able to enjoy shellfish one day soon and be able to dine at this restaurant big time!!
you’re not missing out at all, shellfish, shrimp, crabs, crawfish etc. are all bottom feeders, you absorb a lot of filth & micro plastics when you eat this shit
@@bernadettebailey5370 nope. I used to eat shellfish as a kid, but as I grew older I started to get terrible allergic reactions . I can never eat it again because every introduction causes a worse reaction … my throat can close up and I can suffocate , shellfish isn’t that good though , it tastes like rubber in a lot of instances .. as long as I can eat beef I’m good brother/sister ! Thank you for your kind words though
Rather eat better lobster at home. Lol. Living in Maine has its perks. Lobster is less per pound than a decent steak. Why would I pay a ridiculous amount for inferior Lobstahhhh?
I can't deal with the dress code thing though. I work with a heavy metal band---we show up everywhere looking like street urchins, so they're not going to let us in. LOL Although sometimes the manager of the band can call ahead to restaurants and arrange for us to get in, if the place is having a slow night.
@@seriouscyrus6982 I’m not talking about consuming several pounds of butter everyday obviously. I’m saying that the amount of butter in the video will not lead to cardiovascular disease.
@jonathanzhang8870 Lobster tails are overpriced plastic but people eat them because they're expensive. They used to be food for the poor until they became less abundant. And they had butter and spices back then.
@@Mustang46liters also there is many mom n pop hole in the wall places I been which charge you a fraction of this places price and don't need to resort to "just cover everything in butter because we can't make good food"
If I had seen this video earlier, I would have had to eat at this restaurant during my last trip to Las Vegas. I was craving it so much. Are there any similar restaurants in Atlanta?
oooookayyyy… i have completely fainted….. howwww can this much yumminess exist?? omigosh.. this place, all on its own, is worth the trip to Vegas…😆😆😁😁😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
