9:57 Just wanted to add that I know the gorosei are now finally actively challenging Luffy in the manga but even so it has less to do with Luffy's threat level with how close he now is to the one piece and more to do with Vega Punk and what he knows.

In Blackbeard’s introduction he says to Luffy that some things are not worth fighting over. Since his introduction it has been established that there are absolutely circumstances where Blackbeard would be willing to team up.

Laughtale could make devil fruit users who get too close to it deathly ill like it did to Buggy-- but it would be super ironic for this 25 year continual story with over 1000 chapters to reveal in the end that the main character was disqualified from completing his dream from the very start as Luffy and Robin, the only two who actually care about Laughtale, can't get there.

One thing that highly supports this Theory is the sentence the 5 Elders said when Luffy turned into JoyBoy the first time. "There is no Gomu Gomu no mi." How can they be so sure of that? They would not say it liek this unless they 100% know there is no such fruit. And how do they know for certain, by once having controlled all of them.

I have three issues with this, first the last Road Ponogliph is said to be with ‘The Man Marked By Flames’, on an all black boat that’s surrounded by whirlpools. Second Luffy isn’t the representation of peak haki, that’s Shanks Luffy’s the combination of both devil fruit and haki. Finally, Tachila Wolf doesn’t need to be connected to anything greater than just a reminder of how corrupt the government it.

I dont like the idea that a devil fruit user cant get to laugh tale. Its pretty heavily implied that joyboy had the nika fruit.

Continuing on the world government giving their best officers good devil fruits, garp is one of their strongest marines recorded in history. However, since he doesn’t hold the same ideals as the higher ups and doesn’t want to work directly under them (imu and the celestial dragons) he doesnt have a devil fruit. Only marines loyal to the world government and the celestial dragons would earn devil fruits.

Maybe the gorosei will get traped in new devil fruits. Maybe Black beared can instant delete the gorosei. One shot them with black vortex.

I think it's the total opposite, i think you have to have luffys DF to activate something on laugh tale island, and thats the reason why Roger laughed, cos he didn't think he would need a DF and that's why he said he arrived too early

I see. Very interesting how all these things click into place. It also answers something that's been bugging me for a while. What did Roger tell Shanks that made him cry? I know people have proposed various ideas for why. "Shanks learned of his heritage" or "Shanks was told he couldn't fulfill the prophecy" etc etc. But those answers never really satisfied me. My reading of Shanks is neither of those things would make Shanks cry. I can't see Shanks having that kind of reaction at the revelation of his birth while also going on to have meetings with the Gorosei and having the talk at Marineford. And while I am sure Shanks has information on the prophecy I just don't see him reacting that way. What was Shanks definitive moment in his introduction? That he could deal with all the mockery and abuse but once you hurt his friends that is when you cross the line. Thusly there is only one explanation for why Shanks cried. He cried learning Buggy could never go. It is why he said they'd go eventually. Shanks was lying to save Buggy the pain of the revelation. This is a stretch but didn't we see something similar in the story? Like how Luffy lied to Gaimon? And who was the first character Buggy met after his defeat? Gaimon. And the two just so happened to be fast friends. I would like to point out Gaimon happened prior to Syrup village. And when the strawhats roll up Luffy uses Shanks words with Usopp. And Usopp's dad is part of Shanks crew. All this to say at that point of the story Luffy is constantly made to be like Shanks. But all this is probably a massive stretch. But this is the fun of watching theories. Gets the ol' noodle going into "think mode".

The government having access to strong devil fruit isn’t a fact. It is a possibility but I think that it’s more likely that people with strong devil fruits tend to have high ranks in because of the fruits, not the other way around. Also Doflamingo could have just bought Aces fruit

I think Blackbeard being the reason for everything that happened to Ace disqualifies him from Luffy's consideration of ever teaming up with him.

While the poneglyphs maybe too heavy to move, I don't think that's an issue for BB. Could he not just absorb one like he did with the town him and Ace fought in, they're indestructible so it shouldn't break down but maybe it's made out of sea prism stone so he can't.

I think your theory is right. BUT I think during the first Luffy and Blackbeard fight Luffy DOES die and he loses his devil fruit. This will be the point where Luffy is at his lowest, and his friends lift him up. He then takes the proper way to Laugh tale hoping to beat Blackbeard, while Blackbeard takes Tequila Wolf. Maybe his crew gets split for the finale time, with devil users going the bridge route. Either way Blackbeard arrives first and kills Shanks, Luffy kind of blames himself for moping to long. Luffy is still able to win because by this point he'll have had advanced Haki training.

What if the final poneglyph is made of some stronger sea prism stone, which is why Buggy got sick when he approached it.

You forgot to mention that the only 2 ways to get up the red line to marijois is guarded by marine HQ with sakazuki present most of the time and navy base 1 and that not even the guards in pangea castle know that flower room exists cause when they stumble upon it they vanish as we hear from when sabo infiltrates pangea castle and overhears the guards

ill be honest.. i dont think luffy will ever get (or even see) the one piece. from the beginning, luffy has always been satisfied with just the adventure and the freedom he gets from finding the one piece. I think "pursuit" of one piece will be enough for him. and he will make a joyboy-type sacrifice at the end, but he will not be the one to obtain the one piece. maybe usopp will. or shanks.

This theory is terrible, it has massive holes. You say the world government has the final road poneglyph without talking about the only thing we actually know about its current location, 'the man marked by flames' has it. You said joyboy had the nika fruit, which seems highly likely from everything we know. Then contradicted yourself by guessing that devil fruit users cant go to laugh tale but joyboy went there. Also, if devil fruits user can't go to laugh tale then luffy can't become pirate king which, just lol. Trying to get round this with "he walks there on a bridge instead of sailing on a ship" makes no sense, does this magic-anti-devil-fruit-force field only work if you're on a ship? There are a lot of issues with the bridge to laugh tale idea. If its correct then laugh tale has to be in either east blue, south blue, or the first half of the grand line (possible, but you didn't talk about this at all). You would need to know where laugh tale is to build a bridge to it. Why start so far away that it takes over 700 years to get there? How do the world government know where it is without the poneglyphs? Why can't the world government just sail there if they know where it is? The manga states the bridge's purpose as to connect various islands together, do you disagree with this? You claim the world government controlled/created the devil fruits to fight the lost kingdom yet mentioned nothing about the fact that there are no confirmed world nobles (still living in Mary Geoise) that has ever eaten a devil fruit. They are DEVIL fruits, and the world nobles consider themselves to be literal GODS, it doesn't really fit the vibe they're going for. Your evidence is very weak and basically amounts to the following. There is a bridge, therefore it will go the laugh tale. Buggy didn't go to laugh tale, therefore no devil fruit user can. A road poneglyph has moved, therefore the world government has one.

Please read this 🙏 To this day I’ve always wondered what devil fruit zoro would have and I have concluded my answer to one fruit, the Monkey monkey no mi: model hanuman. Hanuman is a Hindu monkey god who can grow many arms(potentially good for zoro). He can grow as small and large as he pleases (potentially good for elbaf). He has increased speed and strength which is just op for zoro as he is already very physical also I believed is foreshadowed by zoros move gorilla arms where he makes his arms stronger. And Hanuman is loyal and devoted to lord Rama funny enough lord Rama is similar to luffy who is a hero fighting for the truth often displayed as a symbol of virtue, honor and moral integrity which parallels the zoro luffy relationship. And lastly some sources suggest Hanuman had elemental powers of wind using it to fly and potentially others just adding to zoros ability kit. I personally think this is the most perfect fruit for zoro.

So let me get this straight. Joy Boy DID NOT have a DF and hid his treasure on Laughtale, which is a place DF users can't approach. However, Joy Boy's desires/dream to help others created the Nika Fruit. Roger made it to Lodestar Island which makes one aware of the Poneglyphs and began his search for the FInal Island. After securing the 4 Poneglyphs he made it to Laughtale and discovered One Piece. He then set things in motion and apparently leaked the knowledge of not only The One Piece but also the Road Poneglyphs needed. Only after this declaration did the WG become aware that there were Pongeglyphs that revealed the location of the Final Island where One Piece resides. Only after someone finally discovered The One Piece and Joy Boys treasure; did the WG care to find/hinder it. They retraced Rogers footsteps somehow and they located all 4 of the Road Poneglyphs in secret. However, they found Kaido too powerful 20yrs ago. They found Big Mom too worrisome to fight against aswell. And Zou is a place even they can't find and if they did they'd lose to people Jack beat. So they take the only Poneglyph they stand a chance at getting; Fishman Island! They likely do so by coercion and threats. So they move this immovable stone into Pangea Castle. Then they leak a false rumor that a man with a burn scar on a black ship has the last Road Poneglyph. Now with one of the Poneglyphs secure they are at ease that no one can find the One Piece. Even with Big Mom and Kaido's defeat they are so confident they don't even care to go secure those two Poneglyphs now that the threat isn't guarding them anymore. Even with Zunesha at Wano they didn't even care to trouble the Gorosei or God Knights to go get two Poneglyphs real quick. What is the One Piece? Silly treasure? Something of deep concern and/or threat to the WG? Merely something Imu covets? Well, why would they care to keep people from it, rather than securing it themselves? Well, they are trying to secure it! They commissioned Tequila Wolf! Ya Know, Imu, the Gorosei, and Admirals are all DF eaters or devils themselves and can't approach Laugh Tale. Despite the rumor Imu maybe the inflictor of said curse....none of them can get to Laugh Tale because of the route you must take. Well, hey...do they even know where One Piece is? Where the Final Island Laugh Tale is? Ofcourse they do! They don't need the Poneglyphs! Hell, they gave the architect/engineer for Tequila Wolf the exact coordinates! Now once the bridge is complete the WG who struggle with approaching Laughtale the normal route because they are Devils or Eaters; they can just walk on in! It's no big deal though. The One Piece isn't THAT important. They can wait 700 years, they got all the time in the world. Hell, even though its taken them 700 years so far and are only in the middle of the sea...Luffy is on the move! So they can rush job the rest in a year. No Problem! Could they of sent the God Knights who likely don't have DF's and aren't devils, as one is Shanks relative, to recover the One Piece? Sure, but whats the fun in that?! So in summary. Joy Boy left something the WG has interest in on a hidden Island. Poneglyphs get scattered across the world. The WG doesn't care and ignores the Poneglyphs. They don't even need the Poneglyphs because they can sense whatever is at the Hidden Island or Joy Boy gave them a courteous tip and told them where it was because he knew they couldn't get there being Devils/DF eaters. So they commissioned a bridge to the hidden island. They have orders placed that when the bridge is near completion to let them know so they can eradicate the insects before anyone else can set foot on the hidden island. Good things come to those who wait, so they been chillin for 700 years as they chased this pesky fruit around. However, the one guy who almost got to the hidden island before them scared them and they decided to make an example out of him and he pulled a fast one and sparked the Pirate Era. So annoyed they get off their couch and go get the least effort Poneglyph to acquire and sat it next to their hydrangeas so no one can get to the island before their bridge is done. They realize they really kinda lazy though and last time they had to spar against this Nika guy it was really frustrating. So when they learn this kid has the Nika fruit AND 3 Poneglyphs they decide they don't even wanna wait for him to come interrupt they show. They put a hit out on him but its fumbled. Now they really mad cuz this show gettin really good and they not tryna leave the house cuz they just ordered some food. Then this Big Head Punk Ass scientist guy start messin round with they toys and playin in they face. So they roll up to make an example out of him and this snot nose kid there too! Super pissed because they food gettin cold and they know commercials done been over all ready; so they squad up to try and get rid of this damn monkey and punk ass professor for good. All for this dude to have a kill switch tryna share secrets thats none of his business. Dude dying so he think he can cheat the NDA! Whole time they wishin they was at home cuz they have the Poneglyph all ready and they know these fools about to chase around a man with a burn scar; all the while Imu told them they could binge they favorite shows and eat whatever until the bridge was finished in like another 1200yrs. They had this cush ass life and now these insects fuckin it up!

I could see Blackbeard fighting against the same enemy as luffy making them temporary allies but not imu directly cuz then BB would be the final villain and I really don’t see that. Blackbeard’s past from what very little we’ve seen seems to be setting up not exactly a redemption but an understanding of how he became the way he is (I think he’s actually joyboys direct descendent who’s bloodline became obsessed with avenging JB) Regardless I think we will see evil done towards him causing him to become what he is and the root of that evil is gonna be the WG I’m sure so once you run the cycle back they are the root of basically every single villains darker traits. Also just an opinion but to me it’s an absolute requirement for Luffy to be PK when he takes on Imu. Joyboy was the the one on top when he clashed with imu I assume considering he is the one leaving directives for ancient weapons and poneglyphs. Roger was the one on top when he learned what was needed and decided it ain’t him. it’s a pattern to become PK and then make your big play on imu whether that’s preparing the next gen or gearing up yourself. Lastly I don’t think BB deserves to be in on taking out imu although I love BB as a character his way of doing things is thematically the wrong way he’s leaving destruction and sorrow in his wake if he were to tag team with luffy and take down imu achieving the D dream then that would validate the route he took which just seems very unlike one piece to me personally. You know who has been with us since the beginning tho and has always been a friend of luffy even tho they aren’t on the same side (rival) my boy Koby the haki hearing hero he’s gonna be the one tag teaming with luffy somewhere at the end im sure of it.
