He gave his thought process and it's pretty reasonable. Costs 4, does nothing on its own, needs a big turn to be worth it, and the opponent sees it coming from the other side of the planet. Sure it's going to be ridiculous when it works, but there are times when it's gonna be dead in your hand because you need the upper hand before you can even reasonably cast it. There are also times when your opponent will take care if it for two mana, and you will be one turn and one engine short in a supposedly explosive deck. Remember guys, you can't judge a card only on its ceiling. This card's floor is happening more often than you're hoping, and it's absolutely miserable.

@@DanoLefourbe You're in blue-red so there's no reason you wouldn't be backing this up with protection and counterspells. It's also pretty easy to give it haste. Not to mention that a lot of commanders universally considered extremely powerful and obnoxious, like Tergrid, have the exact same downsides. I'm not saying it's S tier by any means but putting a commander with this much potential for just exploding out of control on the same level as "mono white commander that *may* provide very slight, mostly ignorable value on ETB" doesn't feel right to me.

Bello is a C? it makes your stuff indestructible and gives them haste the second you play it but turns them back into much harder to target things during other people's turns... So it is hard to interact with and you also obviously have the value of the enchantments/artifacts themselves which can be game breakingly good. You don't need resources to build to 4 mana with a 3 mana commander. Even your basic mana artifacts ramp you into him/more enchantments and you can swing with them + draw cards probably free in the early game, and then once you have 4+ mana (turn 2-3+) you get into 4cmc enchantments which is where you get some pretty heavy value pieces and even win cons... You don't need to be like, playing 2 4 drops per turn, when even 1 4/5 drop can be game alteringly good on top of being an indestructible fighting card draw engine. I'd say its a B easily

Bello also removes the crew requirement from Vehicles, allowing you to drop and immediately swing with things like Hoard Hauler or Nautiloid ship. I feel like Mitch got scared away by the mana restriction - Bello definitely needs to be closer to the top of this list

Bria, Riptide Rogue is absolutely an A or B Tier at worst for me. It’s basically a slightly worse version of Narset, Enlightened Exile, and is an absolute powerhouse in a Narset deck which is exactly Bria is going when I get a copy. I love Prowess because it allows me to maintain my Agro play style even in a Spellslinger deck.

I think Kastral is a B tier commander. Being able to refill your hand on attacks or recur your creatures is awesome. Not only does it synergize well with damning verdict and final showdown, it's a commander that has a lot of survivability. Flyers in general i feel like are also underrated. I definitely don't think it's higher than B but I think C is a bit low for it. There are a decent amount of ways to reduce its mana cost with other birds as well.

Bria is incredible idrk man. Especially with cost reducers like the faerie one or the medallions yk. You dont particularly need q whole lot of creatures, which in izzit is common. The creatures are usually really important though and bria solves that as well. Izzit suffers from important creatures you wont want to die, usually lowerr power and or toughness which bria solves, and bria has no limits on the buffs they provide. Seems like a recipe for a really nasty agro spell slinger deck.

The other option is to slowly build a hand and plot. Set up for one big turn with free spells and x spells to just blow up whole table. And bria gives u the last of the damage to finish

it's pretty killer in an Eruth, Tormented Prophet deck as well. play a brainstorm, draw 6 cards, play a ton of super low cost spells with low cost pingers, next thing you know turn 6 you've dealt 20 damage through pings and have a board of 5 12/12's

How is Camellia a C Tier? I built a deck with here and she has so much amazing high synergies. Already played it twice and it escalates so fast. Not that good as Chatterfang but for me much more fun to play.

Dragonhawk is in the set as for story purposes, not just obligatory Dragon. The implication and in-story statement by Ral is that its one of Kolaghan's brood who wound up on Bloomburrow through an Omenpath.

The odd acorn gang ability is meant to only be for attacking, it's a sorcery to avoid you just pumping your stuff to block when someone else is attacking you

You have a tendency to speed up and slur the words when reading longer card texts. If you do this in order to save time you might omit reading the text entirely since for new cards it gets very difficult to parse what you are reading and thus forcing people like me to stop and read the card on the screen anyway.

Honestly, Arthur (and in a way, also the face commander of the jeskai precon) might be the best blink commander for jeskai players like myself. Bant is the easy way, there are so many cool cards in jeskai for the archetype, plus Arthur asks you to have creatures on the board at any time, so easy for a blink deck. Of course, you don't need to blink your commander if you don't want to protect it, but he gives you a free "cast", attack, etb and you get the card back for later turns or main phase 2. With Arthur and a blink engine at end of turn, you can use the same ETB 3 times while spending mana only once. He's AWESOME.

Flubs placement might be criminal. Flubs self mill with eruth is actually a turn 4 win. You cant counter him, you cant slow him down, trying to stop him gives him value, once he starts going he cant be stopped

I built a glarb deck already but have using muldrotha as the commander til glarb drops but oh my god the amount of landfall triggers I got off gitrog Steve (ruin crab to be evil)and a fetch was insane

Ive been brewing up a baylen the haymaker deck and ive compilled a list that, in theory, is a consistant t5-7 infinite token combo. Plays very much like an agro red deck but its not focused on the red at all which is kinda funny minus having impact tremors and some red storm stuff as possible win cons

Liked clement, even though the deck built around them is going to be punished, And after 3-4 games i'll need a break from MTG) Think I"m going to build a deck around them because it seems fun. I like mr fox glove. Might pick up gev, and take all the persist combos out of Slimefoot and squee, because I can't win by turn 7 guaranteed so it's useless. Several players i know already have flub decks, though I haven't seen one play yet...he's apparently busted. I love zinnia, thinking I might just get the precon, already got the squirrel precon comming. Got a bad food deck, so I got it to try to combine food effects together. Is it going to win? Probably not,. LOL! Hearing about all the builds my play groups have already put together before cards even come out..especially not going to win. Such a love/hate relationship with this game.

I am really shocked with your Glarb rating. Did you notice the Surveil 2 line there? Generally you need just two cost reducers to break him. Even one Arcane Melee may be enough! Or one Heartless Summoning, or one Fortune Teller's Talent, or one Urza's Incubator. Find your cost reducers with black Tutors and play twice more cards than the others! Is this a B-tier commander? Same about Bria. All creatures you control have Prowess and can't be blocked? Is this Tier C???

creative energy taught me to never pay attention to the packaging of a precon. with that said, peaceful offering strikes me as very odd and every bit as unpacifistic. other group hug decks seem to be all about helping all the other players so they won't bother you so much. but this one, it seems to be more about group hugging everybody to make your own forces stompy. like I said, really odd.

In my opinion, this is just a group hug with "fair" win conditions. I think this is a super precon for people that want to try out a new strategy that don't understand the meaning of a group hug deck less selfish, more about politics (and a salt of chaos) signed a phelddagrif player

I don’t think Maha is really that great. Maybe B or C tier. So many decks (counters, equipment, anthems) get around the Maha + perpetual -1/-1 effects and he’s a huge target for any deck that doesn’t get around it. I think he’ll just make everyone at the table mad at you.

I reached the point where both Mabel and Muerra were placed in bottom tier, with more or less just the words of "Tribal bad" and stopped listening in. The tribal aspects are the best thing about Bloomburrow, and not everything have to be giga top cEDH. Besides, the Racoon deck can work well. You use the racoons for ramp, then play big stuff with all the easy mana you get. Then you play the big stuff, and get rewarded for that. Not everything have to be Elves or boring humans to be a good tribe, nor does it need to have 16 sets around said tribe to function.

ALL extra combat spells dont work with cruel claw because it casts these spells during combat and like 70-80% of extra combat spells only work in the main phase. Don't fall into that trap!

Urgh I hate when a fun commander, who was clearly made for another purpose, gets made into a combo commander. It sucks the fun out of the game for me.
