BEFORE THIS SCHENE THE CROUD WAS SHOUTING ABOUT THEIR FAVORITE SONG(THE NIGGER) I FOUND THE MOST RACIST SONG WHILE I WAS WATCHING AN OLD GREEK MOVIE ..LETS MAKE IT VIRAL...
Reminds me of that stupid vice president Kamala la la la Harris clapping along to a song that was putting her down in Puerto Rico last week. Yeah she's not bright but she back laid herself right into power. So there's always that little achievement of hers. 🤔🕳️😂
OK, but when you really understand, the words are talking about it’s kind of a love song. I don’t think it’s really meant derogatory. I mean, I fight for the little guy all the time to lower class those that suffer and struggle she loves them. That’s OK. 💜💜💜 estúpido gringa Here🥹⁉️
@@alexhardyhardy No one Im just realist European man Which sees the world in pro imigrant France and in Poland If you still don't understand You're propably black or leftist
And what is the behind story of this song? Pls tell me, i cant speak greek :/ And if you know where can i find the official lyrics and the translation? Thank you very much for the answer!! :))
If you have any black Friends Either they think you are racist or think of It as a dark joke just dont be suprised if you loose some friends or teeth after they see the lyrics
As a greek I confirm that the subtitles are legit. Translation in English does make the (already racist) lyrics sound even worse (literal translation instead of trying to find equivalent words). I'd like to believe that we've come a long way in the last decades, like the rest of the world (this song is 58 years old). Back then this song didn't even trigger as racist, they were different times.
Worse 😂 that's funny. This is kids play next to what being a brown man feels like every day in America. You can still find evil songs being sung by children in schools. Just drop a verse BOOM nursery rhyme 🤢🤮
Amazing how very few people recognize a Bouzouki.I played back up guitar for the owner of a Greek restaurant (San Diego) and the local papers said he played a Bazooka. The many meters like 9/8 and 7/4 were hard to follow and the sight of a shapely belly dancer from behind did not help. The guy on film is a great player. We went from these lyrics to a black Cleopatra , no middle ground, how about loving one another , corny, but practical. As a kid I had fantasies about women of all ethnicities, when they came true I realized I was with a person , that's all.
It's got a beat and you can dance to it.....- Anonymous teen on American Bandstand. No matter how you feel about this, it's still historical and shouldn't be erased from it. We can't bury the past or we forget.
My family lived in Britain in the early 20's until after the war. The word that's got you puking in your hat didn't have the negative connotation there that it did here, it's just a slang word. Do these people look like they're off to lynch someone? It's a party and they're not trying to offend anyone
Relax y'all. This song is from a country in an era when there were absolutely no black people in that country and its inhabitants would only see them in National Geographic documentaries about Africa and foreign sport events. The word used in the song is NOT equivalent to the N word. In fact it comes from the word Arab and became derogatory long after that movie was made. Also it is still perfectly OK to use it as a joke to emphasize its racist connotations and ridicule the subtle ignorant racism of the era it was coined. There was another parody song that used it by Sakis Boulas titled "Why did you treat me as if I was an Arapis" which is hilarious, its singer was left leaning and anything but racist and everybody knows that he used the word ironically. Dont judge other cultures and other eras by your own culture's and era's taboos.
AKA in slave the true indigenous people around the globe 🙋🏾♂️ erase their true history within 200 years of raping said indigenous women into submission..bang the Indians, Mexicans, etc. Became a whole different looking people mostly.
I bet you are. I have a question for you as a Turk, what about your neighbors a little more east? Like Iran? And how they are basically exporting all kinds of Crazy Sunni practices to your country? And,what do you think of Israel now declaring war against Syria? And the commotion of the Houthi rebels in the Bab-el Madden straight? These couple of issues are going to have a serious affect on your country. Might make you rich, might bring you into a economic recession. Maybe even drag you into a new war.
why are you making me responsible of what iran is doing ? houtis and bashar esad in syria are Iran backed regimes. Most of us in Turkey do not give a shit about middle east unless it bothers us , much like syrian refugees. Aside from few loud minorities such like islamist or pkk terrorist nobody cares about east. Our country is like russia , western parts are eu oriented and eastern parts are underdeveloped and undereducated also generally more conservative@@brendenjames3659
Coming from someone whose country been violently racist to Assyrians, Armenians and even Arabs. You guys even massacred Assyrians and Armenians in WWI.
Ι don't recall the name of this mid sixties Greek comedy, but it had nothing to do with this song or with racist attitudes. There were many comedies of this type and they all more or less featured light popular "bouzouki songs", which were the equivalent of video clips and a way to advertise and sell records. The songs almost always were about love affairs, unlike this one which is a very goofy number really. More plain ridiculous and less racist, in my opinion.
Mid sixties comedy movie, I can't find the title. The title of the song is "o arapis" (the "coon"). Greek comedies of those times , even when played abroad, were intended for Greek speaking audience and they were not even subtitled in any other language, so nobody would bother to sensor or ban them.
At the time the song was released, it had nothing to do with racism.. there were no colored people in Greece to assume that there was a racist intention... it is an exaggeration of the person who uploaded it on youtube to gather publicity..... its creator song has nothing to do with extreme behaviors... we're talking about a man who was partying all day, loved and helped a lot of people.
@@jj-ss8wu You don't know the language, you don't know the man, you don't know his past, we who know him know that everything they have written is a hoax... we are talking about a man who has nothing to do with racism, a man who has helped too many people and who has offered his help to anyone who wanted it, we live in Greece and we know what kind of person he is.. Don't believe all the lies you read on the internet, the person who made this video did it to collect clicks and make money.
What is the name of this song? Where can i find the official lyrics and the translation? Thank you very much! (and the song what about? what is the story? ty)
When ninjas was put in there place and ppl can say what they wanted and not bending down catering to them they want racism so bad today but they want manufactured racism not real racism cuz they can't handle it
NPCs in the comments yapping and somehow trying to downplay racism despite the song being clearly racist💀: (It doesn’t matter if there were no POC in Greece back then. This song is still absolutely revolting and I know it may not been their intention to be racist it is still unacceptable to excuse this extreme behaviour)
If you still excuse this despite people pointing and cheering the N word with a hard R then your either racist or retarded😂 (Even for 1965 most people knew the N word with hard R was extremely offensive and used Negro more commonly)
@@captaintrips2980 Yeah and I fucking know that, Sherlock. This was a response to the idiots that I was battling in this comment section and I'm not sure if you have vision problems buddy, but you can clearly see that I was NOT "triggered" whilst writing the original comments, how do you not expect people not to be triggered by this lmao 🤦💀💀
Tbh, I know it’s not making it better, but POC were a somewhat exotic concept and sight in Greece back in the day. We also have instances of black face in our cinema of the time. I really think it was done out of ignorance rather than malice, but through a contemporary prism, it sucks.
@@Akira556 Most likely they are in heaven worshipping Jesus Christ. Racism is not a sin and every christian (literally every human) before 1960s was a racist

"THE MOST RACIST SONG IN MUSIC AND CINEMA HISTORY" maybe in cinema history ... xD there's ALOt more actual gruesome racist/facist stuff on the internet
It is insane and it is disgusting and I hate it. And I am Greek. Needless to say, this is from an early sixties movie and of course nobody would come up with such a song today. However, even at that time, this was the only racist song around. Racism as we mean it today, was not an issue in Greece back in those times.
I told my giagiá that this song is about a girl meeting a guy, and they fell in love. Now she plays it whenever she drops me off at college, you can’t imagine the look on teachers faces haha. I don’t care if I get in trouble for it, the look on their face is priceless. My grandmother still has no clue to this day 🫡

Most racist song ever?? I think not. See if you can find a tune by Johnny Rebel called ni**er hatin me.....or just google the lyrics .....he has a number of songs that are way more racist than this one.....
