Literally just finished this with my bestie. Normally challenges take us a few tries bc were newer to the game, but we got all 3 right in a row this time! We had a Jinn, Mimic, Deo.

That makes so much sense now!! I remember in 2 of my games I only heard the audio of the ghost and no foot step sounds or no visual of the ghost and next thing I knew I had a pair of hands wrapped round me face ☠️

Regarding the photo system. They could apply the difficulty multiplier to the photos rewards, with the trade off that, repeated photos are worth half the previous of the same kind. So one salt photo is worth 1, two salt photos is worth 1.5, three 1.75, and so on. Or some other process, that decreases the value of repeated photos.

They should have a scream or roar sound to signal the start of a hunt. Just a loud almost global sound to mark that it's now dangerous, because relying on hearing the front door is very iffy, and other than that it's pretty much 0 grace period. Or make the light blink even if they are turned off during the grace period, like the ghost is charging up or releasing this big wave of energy before it start.

Instead of footsteps, a dots hunt could make a electric buzzing sound when the ghost is close, that gets louder as it gets closer, and you need dots out to see it, but not hear it. That would be terrifying. xD

I always start tier 1 thermo to find the ghost room. Maybe I switch over to EMF when they fix the tier 1 thermo but it is OP asf for finding the ghost room at the moment at least for professional level. Also unlike what it says in the description for ghosts entering the DOTS state they don't always walk towards you. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Seems rather random. The two main bugs I've seen on Tanglewood has been extremely muted sounds in the basement randomly or on the stairs to the basement and the worse one being during a hunt if the ghost is coming up from the basement it is a total surprise. While it is on the stairs it doesn't give the static mic noise giving you the false feeling you aren't close to it yet and I've had it happen a few times where I am looking for the ghost and BAM! Dead from a ghost that walked up from the basement, made no noise what so ever while climbing the stairs, and was in my face before I knew what happened.

Finished this in around 30 minutes total just now myself. When you know what little tips to watch out for, it makes it so easy without needing all the evidence. I actually got 3 new ghost achievements off of this challenge, too (Shade, Oni, Moroi) My final ghost was an attic ghost and because the room is huge, I was having trouble getting evidence, but I had spirit box for sure. All I had to do was check sanity, go stand inside in the light for about 30 seconds, then check it again to see it was still draining. Dead giveaway Moroi

Just a tip with the T1 DOTS for anyone who doesn't know, you can place it on a counter or somewhere on the floor like he did at 3:31 and you can use it like T2 DOTS with a camera mount to see it from the truck screen if you don't feel like hunting with it with the pen, also assuming that the room isn't a huge one

Really liked this challenge, was super fun (apart from the T1 dots)! I got Onryo, Revenant and Yurei. I was good with the Onryo and even the Rev hunts but I embarrassingly died to the Yurei as I was too relaxed in its room and it spawned on my head before I could hide lol

This was a great and fun challenge! Unfortunately for me and my friends, we had guessed the wrong ghost many times because the behavioral characteristics sometimes made no sense along with some of the evidence given. It was weird, but we finally got it lol

Just did this challenge. It was my first one as I haven't played too much and got all three right. 1.Obake 2.Wraith 3.Obake. I got really easy ghosts for this.

I enjoyed this challenge. I had a super quick Banshee (it was a crawling DOTS Lisa!) that gave up all her evidence incredibly quickly, then I had two Jinns in a row that were easy hunt tests.

for noobs like me that are having problems with tracking Ghost Room without thermo/emf: place sound censors in the Office, Living Room and both floors' Hallways, and also use Parabolic Mic for tracking specific stuff like chair screeching, plates being thrown in the Kitchen or lockers' doors being touched in the backroom, my main problem was definitely finding the room and seeing if it's still the same т-т

I kinda like the lack of thermo, systematically going through every room to find the ghost seems a little lame compared to hearing a noise/seeing stuff misplaced.

The dots hunt ability would make sense for goryo and actually make them a much better ghost imo.

To get the answer to your question I might participate in this idea but. We could chart the speed of freezing what ghost it was what weather it was what map it was Analyze the collected data and come back with an answer on each factor playing a part. Apply that data to how many ghosts had freezing as evidence, and you can probably get a more accurate answer based on the weather and ghost statistics you collected.

I recently learned that only yurei's can touch the front door. Its a rare event but when it happened to you om round 2 i was already saying watch this be a yurei and it was! Hope you could confirm it :)

I did the challenge and what annoyed me was that I got a Deogen, then the next round I thought I got another because of the hunt and I almost broke my screen when I saw it was a Mimic. Second one was Phantom, found it out with a photo. Last one was Spirit, nothing special.

Is EMF 5 avtivity monitor half way up? I thought it had to hit 8 oto 10 because the higher the number the more it can vary from actual value?

Idk if it's just me, but I went 3/3 on this challenge. As long as you test for a few mins every available evidence, you can usually rule them out and then test for remaining ghost abilities

No idea what happened for this challenge, but my friend and I were playing, during one round the ghost was in the front office room, and on two separate occasions it turned a lamp on. We could not for the life of us get the final evidence, so we crossed Mare off of the options and guessed from there. It was a Mare. I literally saw it turn a lamp on. So can Mares turn lamps on now or did we just get screwed?

This challenge was weird.. i got 3 mylings back to back. Easiest challenge ever. Third time i didnt even try to get the evidence.. i was like yep.. its myling again. and boom! done

during this challenge i've had a demon that used it's ability but it never hunt, so obviously i ruled it out and i even thought that this challenge was a "friendly ghost" challenge , because a demon using it's ability and not doing an hunt ??? LOL found it the hard way the next game assuming it was a "friendly ghost" challenge

It's all relaxing until your first ghost on the challenge was The Mimic (I got The Mimic first)

If they made it so each type of photo could only be taken once... bone, ghost, interaction, salt, UV, dirty water, writing. So limit would be eight? And three of them (UV, dirty water, writing) are luck based... either on ghost type or location. What they could do is have 'distrubed salt' photo check for all disrubted salt in the photo and disable them. So you could set them around to take photos... but stacking them together means you can only get one.

I played today for the first time in a year and yeaaaa what the fuck happened?!?! yea the new stuff is cool and all but the game felt more polished back then compared to now. I totally feel your frustrations.

The thing i hate about This is a Ghost is when you die or fail they take your cash for the mess up. I had almost 1000 on there and a friend joined me and i just started dying left and right. I have no money now on that game.

This was a definitely easy challenge. BUT. It was kinda a bitch for me because I would only every get one evidence maybe two and then figure it out from there and the evidence took AGES for me 😭. Poopy luck

I got two in a row without problem, but I spent over 2 hours hunting different ghosts that just never showed their third evidence. DOTS never showed up for DOTS ghosts, they never talked on the spirit box if they were spirit box... so much for free money lol I stopped playing because the game is such a grind to get decent gear, since you have to "earn" it now. Big letdown, but I hoped the challenges would at least provide some relief. Unfortunately, they just make the game feel like a "live service" game, with earning equipment and having weekly challenges to give a slight boost to the grind. Back to not playing for me I guess... what a waste of time.

What is wrong with the photo cam after the update, really buggy compared to how it was before the update... Take photo of ghost clear as day, but get a 1 star salt pick from like far away instead.

its so funny to me how the phasmo community has just accepted their fate and acknowledge that the game is insanely buggy. I mean it's early access, so we have to give them a little slack... but still its pretty funny.

all the evidence but tier 1 stuff, no smudge, no EMF no thermo, it was NOT the "easy money" and I nearly gave up and the only reason I was successful was the last ghost got me before I could even select an option,, Spirit being auto selected as the first, and it just happened to be a spirit.

Got mine as a Phantom, Thaye and Mimic. Funny enough they didnt give a single damn evidence, found them all out with traits No Evidence style
