I will always remember Nora for her passion. I had the opportunity to meet her once and I was profoundly amazed by her kindness.

wow, the feelings she was trying to supress jumped right over to me and my eyes got a bit wet. I can relate to her and i agree. we are treating our drug addicts like criminals not like patients, and it makes me sad.

She belongs in Mexico, NOT in the US where she influences failed policies. Talking head!

I read the same article and wondered if anyone would/could get involved with the idea of finding cures for brain diseases. God bless Dr. Volkow.

She's a TALKING HEAD. The director of the National Institute of Drug Abuse does NOTHING to help the situation. She inspires Mexican Drug Cartels. Don't be fooled by this ignorant talking head! WHAT HAS SHE ACCOMPLISHED? NOTHING. She spits out stats but does NOTHING to help the situation. The BEST THINKING of US policy makers has got us where we are today.

@@richyrich561 You're right. She has nothing to offer. When you know enough about this subject, you see that she says nothing

Puede una experiencia traumática convertir a alguien en el mayor experto en adicciones del mundo? La motivación y la cualificacion si se suman pueden llevar a la excelencia y a alcanzar metas que de otra forma tal vez no se podrían alcanzar...

The view/comment ratio of this video, and others of Dr. Volkow, and the fact that the majority of the comments are "Wow, she's so amazing" makes me question whether conflicting views are welcome. I wonder if this comment will be removed

I've listened. Before totally agreeing with her, you should read about addition. (I recommend Dr. Gabor Maté) You will see how little she has to say

The amount of ignorant comments here are shocking. It’s obvious that those behind those comments have deep rooted issues and the only way to escape the intrusive thoughts, the lack of awareness and uneducated, because let’s call it what it is. I guarantee these people have negative comments posted all over social media. Maybe think about that and do something to get out of your rut

The only comment that isn't "What an amazing person! I love Dr. Volkow!" They left this one up to paint a picture of people who are not fans. You either agree, or you're a pathetic child I know they're deleting comments. That's more childish that calling her a moth
