The most horrible part of being in a situation like this is not knowing what narcissism is - not knowing what your dealing with - it took me 59 years to figure out what narcissism is - people suffer needlessly for years and years - so thank you for educating us

I am so thankful to see such a young person speaking out against this sneaky coercive behavior. How in the world do you have so much knowledge on this subject at such a young age? Ive found that they have to be the "master" at everything. I had mine try to get me to call him that a couple of times (jokingly)?

Holy crap my marriage to the T at this point I feel I’ve wasted 15 years of my life my daughters life he has never believed me when I’d say I love you I tried providing myself stop having anything to do with my family I had no friends for 14 1/2 years everything is my fault I’m a liar cheater I’m nasty it’s been mind games betrayal belittled lied to cheated on called horrible names truly a wast of time and the best part about it all I’m stuck here with him I’ve burned all my bridges trying to prove myself

That happened to me it was fishing, when I fell for his passion, and I thought it was love connection , but wholly it was control, when I didn't want to clean the fish with him, or tidy up to boat, or complaining that why did he have to hop out of the boat to unjam it when it got stuck in the mud on the shallow side of the water. I started hating his passion, when he named the boat after me, with a sign on it to show everyone he loves me. But treats me with contempt when I start saying no I don't want to go fishing today 😞

Hey there Hope you're enjoying your week. I have to say I'm confident this WILL be the year I completely forget about ALL narcs from my past. I am FINALLY getting my own closure after being trauma bonded to that female covert narc I told you about for 4 1/2 yrs who smear campaigned me almost 5 yrs ago 😁. I kept ruminating due to sadness of not getting christ-like closure (which I now realize I'd never get from her), anger when I broke no contact to discover those vulgar things she posted and vulgar pages she follows online confirming she is a religious fraud, AND most of all my own paranoia that she'd smear me again if/when I become a public figure as I'm an aspiring actor. It's crazy that I spoke with someone who told me that *calling out a narc publicly to avoid a smear campaign will only create one* 😯😅. I actually feel stupid now because me calling her out ignited her smearing me to others. I'm thinking "if I had known me calling out that covert narc on Facebook on her bad behavior almost half a decade ago would've caused her smearing me to other people, I would've never contacted her at all 😂." I know publicly exposing negative things I discovered about her on social media will only result in another smear campaign, probably even worse 😅.

All your points are very true. I just learned and had to rewatch The Shining as an adult …Wendy was actually suffering from schizophrenia. I believe there’s a breakdown on YT. Nothing from her viewpoint was real.

😅❤yes my sister always made me feel ashamed, I said to her you don't think i am good enough for you do you? , her answer was simply no, no, no, which told me yes, it was true because she would have vehemently denied it, after feeling intense shame after she winrd and dined ,e at a restaurant, treating and talking to ,e like a chi d, i walked away😂 feeling intense shame, thats when i went no contact, i don"t answer her calls, been 6 months omuch more power and peace, not having her put me down!

If you're not on the same page it ain't happening maybe when young you can get close for a while but if you both don't put in effort it dies and once you've lied betrayed it's done its not difficult as much as nacasists make it because it's never true and empaths know that
