It was still really dry this year. We didn't get any snow until January. Luckily, the moisture has been picking up.

I have a bike with the throttle on the right and the rear brake on the right. It is very hard to do wheelies with them both on the same hand. I'd prefer the throttle on the opposite side of the rear brake.

We live on the 2nd floor so I have to carry my girlfriends Pace 500 up the stairs. Her's has a nice handle right above the bottom bracket that makes it super easy to carry. They got rid of that on the new one.

any benefits for getting a regular bike vs step through? Seems like step is just the way to go for easy in and out access

They ride pretty identical. The step through is a much better choice for anyone who doesn't want to have to lift their legs over the frame. So much easier for anyone with mobility issues.

@@Andrew-vt4jt ya guy or girl its easier to get on and off. plus when ur waiting, you don't have the top bar touching you. Seems like step its just the better option to buy these days

@@TKGZONE I agree. It used to be considered a "girl bike" but that is just taboo. No reason to want something all up in your crotch, male or female. I prefer a step through for easy on and off, and I don't have any mobility issues.

Usually it's a woman's bike Easier to sit on and if you are wearing a skirt you are not going to flash someone.

Jimmy - how does this compare to the new Radcity 5? I bought my wife who is 5'3" the Radcity 5 and it's just too big/heavy for her. In your opinion, would the small Pace 500 be better suited for her? I notices its 30 lbs or so lighter right off the bat. Thank you for your great reviews!

I just ordered the Aventon Pace 500 and one thing that I find to be a necessity, especially when riding on the street, is a mirror, basically to see cars/vehicles approaching behind me. And on my current bike I have a "Mirrycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle Mirror", which required me to open up the end of the bike grip to attach the mirror inside of the handlebar. So will I be able to put this type of mirror to my Pace 500, and if not, can you recommend a brand of mirror to purchase? Also, I currently have an "Inno Tire Hold 2 Bike Platform Rack Hitch" which has a carrier bike weight limit of approximately 48lbs per bike, so the Aventon website says the weight of the Pace 500 is 52lbs, so I'm assuming that when I remove the battery from the bike, the bike will be light enough to put on my rack. Do you know how much the Aventon Pace 500 weighs w/o the battery?

Hey Jimmy. This question is unrelated to the video, but I was just curious if you are still riding your inmotion V12? I know your a big safety guy, and With the cutoff issues surrounding the V12 I was wondering if you decided to sideline it until it gets fixed.

I have been riding it less since I've had the S20, Hero, and Abrams to test. I still ride it from time to time but I'll need to get it fixed once the fix becomes more easily available.

@@NjoiUrself I really enjoy both ride feel, just depends on my mood. I do prefer a little wider tire for comfort, so I lean more towards the Pace. But I do love how nimble the Soltera is.

My aventon came with three things broke. . The throttle, the front brakes, and the lock out fork..its all noted by a bike shop. Aventon is not even trying to help and the delay in the motor coming on gets on my nerves.

Ebikes have had battery's on top forever do you just not know what your talking about when you say your glad the battery is located on top so it doesn't fall out but that doesn't make sense when every ebikes battery location is on top of the bike
