It's been a long time coming but it is awesome to see a new iteration of the solid copper zippo. Looking forward to seeing what other ideas they can come up with using these copper cases. LINKS instagram: / owen_dowell
This is the very first video I've watched on this channel. I like the presentation. I notice the background music. That Zippo must be worth a few bucks.
The box is the best; they should have done that for the 2022 COTY That black insert scratches extremely easily though. They will have issues with customer complaints
I just got both of mine, one for play/EDC and one for display. Date codes on both are C for the case and A for the insert. Could these be first editions/release? It smells great, especially your hands after holding it for some time. That's how deep I got with the details.
I purchased one of these. The cool box came a little scuffed but the lighter was perfectly fine. I want one for using, but I’m wondering if I should buy another preproduction model so I get a box that is undamaged or wait for the full model that might be lower priced?
I have a July 1988 slim space shuttle zippo, its un used and boxed, do you know if there is any value in it. I'm having trouble finding it online . Thanks for your time I like your vlogs.
@Owen Dowell This is Tristan’s biological mom, Wen. I know that you heard the news, and I have something for you from my son. His father’s side of the family may try to contact you separately; I just want you to know how much he respected and admired you and tell you that I have something that Tristan wanted me to give to you.
@@Pizzscn Thank you for your kind words. I said most everything in the email and hope to hear back from you when you have a chance. No rush and no need to apologize about anything; time is a linear construct that we can’t control. I’ve subbed to you guys, and I think T’s little brothers have as well. Let’s all stay in touch. 🙏🏼🤟
@@archiedrew8474 Thank you for your kind thoughts and words. His father and I don’t communicate beyond formality, but I am certain that they are as devastated as we are. He leaves behind a sister, step sister, two little brothers and so many others. T. was my first baby, also, my heart. He felt everything very deeply, and I just feel heartless and heartbroken. The Tin Man from the Land of Oz is an adequate metaphor for me now. In any case, thank you again, and I hope that you will hold his memory close and continue to enjoy the contributions that he made to this beautiful community that meant so much to him. 🙏🏼✌️
Wtf are you talking about lmao. I have a zippo from the 1940’s. I send it in when it gets damaged and replace cotton, wick, or flint myself. They literally will last your lifetime and your children’s.
