Just in case anyone wants real info. Project 20380 is a Stereguschy class . The ship named Merkury, hull #535, is a Stereguschy class corvette. It is not being reworked. The project 20386 which is a larger variant ship is called the Mercury class. The first ship in this class is named Derzky and its a Merkury class corvette. It was decided not to build these as they are too costly and not needed. The first hull of the MERKURY CLASS the Derzky was launched over a year ago and has sat untouched. If they decided to rework that project you may possibly have some news. You mentioned Gremyaschy class? This class is a project 20385. Neither the Ship Merkury nor the class of ship by the same name Merkury is a Gremyaschy class. Project 20380 2300 tone Stereguschy class. Project 20385 2500 ton Gremyaschy class. Project 20386 3200 ton? Merkury class. I may have butchered the names but its from memory ...
This report is confused. Project 201386 no longer will have a ship named 'Mercury'. This might explain why it is being confused for project 20385 shown at 0:31 - a ship of this class might now be being called 'mercury'.
There is no redesign. It will be outfitted by latest hypersonic anti ship missiles and Latest Panzer sea version with its own hypersonic missiles + connon, already shown and few heavy mashinguns mounted on deck of ship sides. It has Anti submarines warfare ability as mentioned as latest radars. Also might be armed with latest vitiaz S-350 air defense system. If this is the case then this little ship will be king of the see..👌🇷🇺👏👏

In order for it to have naval pansir it would require a redesign . This was not part of its weapons. The s350 is the Polliment Redut system mentioned in the video. I wouldnt count on it being made at all as its redundant and over priced. Its cost far exceed the Project 20385 which has the same abilities the same fire power and endurance , but lacks the stealth superstructure and expensive lift hangar aft. Stealth makes the 3400 ton ship look like a 2400 ton ship to radar, not invisible and not worth it. The thing cost almost as much as the Gorshkov class frigates almost 80% of a Gorshkov and has no where near the fire power. The Russian navy would be far better off with 10 more project 20385 then 5 project 20386.
Brotherhood of NOD: That ship doesn't look stealthy to me. For good Stealth hull see North Korean gun boat. Anyway Stealth shape must not have anything attached to it's Reflective Shape hull.
