@@BMask just trying to guess what kind of "faliures" are we talking here. Since superheroes can't actually fail, what they can do is be poorly written. It shows the most in Event Comics where characters are making stupid decisions and act nothing like themselves. So i thought this retrospective will be about "Faliures of the writers" who wants to tell their stories but don't get the characters they're using.

I could spend days watching his art just to appreciate the detail in it all

I've been loving his work on Immortal Hulk, every cover that he's made has been spectacular and fits with the horror theme really well.

To me Alex's art is the quintessential depiction of comics in the broadest possible sense. It's the closest I think we get to an 'objective' depiction of the characters in either Marvel or DC and I wanted to use the art of something removed from the specifics of what I was discussing. The 'idea' of marvel heroes and the world they live in. We'll be getting much more specific once the actual video happens.

I hope he doesn't end it at Siege. THeir time working under Songbird, Mach X, Cage, and Warden John Walker made for a great run. The Hydra bit COULD mean they're including Jim Zub's setup for Hydracap but it could just be a nod to Zemo.

@@DIEGhostfish I'm gonna be completely honest, I'm not very comic savvy. I've read some for sure, but just random ones. Nothing involving Onslaught. So I don't really know who he is or who he was involved with.

@@thealmightycouch311 Onslaught was a psychic projection of Professor X's bad side partially fused with the reality warping power of Franklin Richards and Nate Grey. To defeat him the bulk of the Avengers and some other non mutant heroes had to sacrifice themselves to prevent an explosion his defeat was creating. (They got sent to a pocket dimension by Franklin the kid's basically a god.) The X-Men who did help fight were looked on with even more hate because Onslaught was "Their fault" and they hadn't made the same sacrifice. (They literally could not have, it would have made the explosion worse if a mutant stepped in) In the vacuum another team rose up. This is going to be about them.

Thank you! It's taken a long long time to write and there's still things for it yet to be written, but recording the voices and editing the initial visual drafts started about two months ago now that 90 percent of the scripts have been finalised. Much grander than the first video and way bigger in scope- it's a series of videos this time- and fingers crossed it'll be worth the wait!
