I have fasted 50 pounds off. Recently, I have started to eat back to back and eat badly. NO MA'AM. I am fight style on this thing. Right now, you are my accountability as well. Thank you so much for these videos.
I enjoy seeing your perseverance, Jerome. I have been having a hard time fasting and ketogenic diets that I have turned to Ozempic. I hope it will work for me. I am still working on my food journey but with a little added medication because I am tired of gaining and losing pushing over four years. It is too much. It grate to see you here on RU-vid and on Instagram.
Whewwww coming back from my Florida vacay I could NOT muster my fasting muscle past 42 hrs min. Every time I would go for a 60+ my hunger pains would kick in and I would cave. I didn't allow it to frustrate me though. I kept going with 40+ and ramped it up to 50+ until I could finally do 60+ again. It really does take discipline and patience. You have to do what you can and keep going at that pace until you've trained your fasting muscle to go longer. It really never stops. Retraining it will always be the reality when you're fasting as a lifestyle.
Its like Jerome read my mind!! Tried to do a 24 hour fast just a day after coming off a 3 day fast and failed at 21hours into the fast!! now I am so miserable.
Reframe your perspective. 21 hours is still 21 hours. Maybe it means you’re more mindful on this refeed. Maybe it means you hit the gym harder because you got extra calories in you. Maybe it means stringing two weeks of 20+ hour fasts. Imperfect consistency pays off-good luck! 🙏🏽
Hey Jerome, I've been fasting, but when I break my fast, I gain like 5 lbs. When I break, I just do OMAD and not crazy calories, either. I know it's water weight because it's so uncomfortable. Is this normal?
