SPOILERS AHEAD.
I recently received a creator's key of Starfield via Keymailier, so I decided to take advantage of this and do a new style of video in my channel which I will call "first impressions gameplay and music review", it's a mouthful I know, I'll workshop that haha!
In this gameplay video I focus mostly on musical first impressions from the lens of a music producer. All the way until I finish one of the first early missions. Let me know if you want to do more of this.

God I love this game, the vibes, the way the soundtrack modifies the scenes the aura it presses to you, like fuck as much as the bugs and framerate can pull you out of the moment it pressures itself around you in the way that it's always in your mind, from having a chat with an NPC, to flying in space to even killing an entire area's pirate faction it holds it there to remind you of its vibe. Definitely glad you checked out Starfield dude, I've been in a frenzy Playing the SHIT out of this great game.

HIGHLY recommend Ace Combat 7 Soundtrack. A lot of amazing ones on there and I don't recommend skipping Daredevil, they literally delayed the release of the game just for that song to be finished being made. It's one of my absolute favorites OST from any game released (Sorry Furi)

The MrBeast style thumbnail is the only reason you're all finding me really. It works so well. If it didn't RU-vidrs, wouldn't use it.

@@StringPlayerGamerOfficial I know I think it’s pretty funny and the algorithm loves this kind of thing. I’ve been watching your videos since the ultrakill video but this was the first one that actually appeared in my home page since. Kinda odd how RU-vid has this kind of favouritism to the thumbnails that seem kind of campy. I don’t really care about the thumbnails though, your videos are still great without them and it seems like a good way of using RU-vid’s system to recommend videos to the most people.

The Starfield OST also reminds of some of the Star Trek scores especially Voyager. Makes sense considering how much Star Trek probably influenced this game

I know this is off topic, but I'm genuinely curious as to how you'd react to certain tracks from the Half Life 2 OST, as well as the DLC. "Innsbruck Experiment", "Vortal Combat", and "What kind of Hospital is this", are just some I had in mind. But there's so many other fantastic tracks to choose from!

Highly recommend Cyberpunk game and its soundtrack as well btw. Obviously goes quite hard so might not suit a strings artist.. but is good :P

Oh also, three tracks from Sea of Thieves. Maiden Voyage, Becalmed, and We Shall Sail Together. for the latter two I recommend you react to the instrumental and the versions with lyrics separately.

Something you may like from space music? Ixion's soundtrack. Not the biggest game and not widely aware. But pretty good nonetheless. Ship management survival sim. Heck, you might like the game too, but music is where it shine the most. Especially the "Jump theme" - Legacy of Vanir

I feel bad that a composer can make such a masterpiece and then the game developer trashes their players, pushes their garbage ideology into what is supposed to be an escape from all that, breaks their game with over promised content and then underdelivers. Then the composer's hard work becomes synonymous with a disappointing game.

@SvGPlayer831 I completed the game and did 2 resets. The story is not amazing. It's tired, cliche and full of itself. The game play is good enough to keep you interested but the fact that Bethesda has all but come out and said they hate their customers ruins it. If you think starfield had an amazing story then you have very low standards in storytelling. Compare starfield to mass effect 1 and 2. You can't. It's like comparing Cardi B to Mozart or a miniature poodle to a mastiff.

⁠@@BurritoBandito140i mean if i played it twice too id probably be tired of the game as well, i did one run and felt amazed by the scenery and exploration not just story is what i meant, trust me ive been playing rps and other story rich games since 2002 i know what a good story is and isnt, we all ahve different preferences, but the last thing i have is “low standards” the only thing that ruined it for me was all the unnecessary hate the game got
