Me, who plays tonnes of Mystery Heroes: Finally, the day has come.

I love the concept of Echo, and she seems mad fun (console player here). But my worry about her isn’t the strength of her abilities, but her lack of weaknesses. Honestly I see her going the way of Sigma, extremely powerful on release and lackluster a few months later. She’s a hero I don’t think you can just tune numbers on, it’s the way her abilities work together that makes her dangerous. She seems very boom or bust. Her primary fire and the sticky bombs are gonna be huge for long range poke. The primary gets more effective at close range, and her focusing beam is easier to use at close range. She has crazy mobility and escapability with her flight, and her ultimate is gonna be hard to play around or deny because it can literally be 6 different things coming your way. Yea she’s kinda a sitting duck in the second part of her flight ability, but it can be canceled and the clever players won’t expose themselves so easily. That also puts a lot of solo players under pressure to nail that shot in the few seconds she’s exposed. Chances are most teams will only have one player capable of shooting her out of the sky, and maybe a D.Va to harass her. I honestly even wouldn’t know how to engage on an Echo if I needed to take that 1 v 1 duel with her

Too bad echo isn’t on console yet

To be honest, this ultimate rocks the entire game. New combos, crazy pop-offs, people will start counter picking in a whole new way, like, say, switching off Hanzo if you have a really good sniper going echo on the enemy team, like striker. There will be all sorts of new counterplay, and people will have to try out some other characters. However, people said the same thing about bap, now we act as if immortality and over 200 max hps isn’t overpowered. People are thinking “oh wow, she has such high dps, she can burst down this bot in under 3 seconds” not realizing that, so can soldier and Mcree and Baptiste and lucio and Ana and brig and mercy and roadhog and even mercy, et cetera.

My guess is they will give you the enemies ULT 100% right away and no more charge when you use Echo's ULT. I doubt they will allow 6 Pulse bombs xD Because Echo will literally be the Meta for every mode. Also I am guessing the pros will change off Reinhardt after the first death to stop the enemy team from EarthShatter

Not picking Echo if they have Echo means you're already at a disadvantage because you've given her 6 options. Locking Echo limits enemy Echo. Even outside of initial "new shiny", she's going to see all of high level play..

Echo's E ability is lethal to tanks who have crappy supports. 200dps at half health, tanks use their health pool to move, now with weaker shields, thats gonna be way harder.

she's strong, but she's very fragile too...200 HP. I love her, having a blast and doing really well. I like turning into hog or rein the most.

you forgot to say that your whole team cant switch hero while the enemy echo has their ult activated

Echo is the best. I have a quick question, I'm still new to the Overwatch scene. I've been grinding it out with her for a week and just wanted to look at my K/D. I did the math and I'm at a 3.1 Elim/D ratio. Is that good? I'm still working my way towards ranked. I'm currently lvl 22. Not trying to flex or anything I'm just genuinely curious before I hop in competitive.

You didn't include the super jump when you press shift and cancel the flight instantly so you get so much speed.

Echo shouldn’t be nerfed or “balanced” because her kit is counter-able, you just have to play her right and protect squishies/play around them

Ana is also a pretty bad machup. She can snipe you out of the air, and shut down your powerful ult with sleep dart

Echo is the one, people always talk about how once you find that one hero, you can climb into whatever rank you want. I've climbed 300 in a few days as playing only echo, and a bit of sigma with a 68% win percentage

I play on console so if it’s hard to hit y do I have 50% accuracy

Ult charge when duplicated is just too damn fast. The rest I have no issue with. Her only escape is her flight which will also make her easier focus.
