Hi there! These ones are the lined version, not the actual Skyfall gloves, but we did find that they ran a bit big. Not sure if all styles are consistently like this but I would’ve liked to have a snugger fit than the size I got. Either way, great choice on the Dents - I’m sure your partner will get great use out of them! Thanks!

Had the same problem with the length of the fingers. Unfortunately if you can’t size down maybe another brand might work better for you. We’ll let you know if we come across any other good options!

I bought a pair of Dents cashmere lined gloves 20 years ago and they are still going strong.

@Luc Maciejec My TM Lewin gloves have lasted longer than Dents. Still going strong. I have purchased a further two more pair of TM Lewin gloves. I've also purchased a pair of tan Dents driving gloves for the summer. Will have to see how they hold up. Hopefully better than my last pair.

@@mircolaufer4796 You need to get yourself down to an outlet village. I bought my last pair of gloves for £17.50 in the sale a few years ago. They are lambskin and cashmere lined!

Yes it’s a peacoat from Sandro Paris. Bought it from the Sandro store in Toronto. Not sure if they still make this but if not you could check Grailed for a used one. It’s a great style, very similar to the Burberry peacoat but a quarter of the price!

Hi there. They do take returns but you have to ship back to the UK at your own expense. Regarding size - on their site they say to round down to the nearest size or half size that is available, so technically if you measure an 8-1/2 that’s the size you would go with. However, depending on the width/length of your fingers (and how snug a fit you like) you may consider sizing down. In the case of the ones I got, I would have sized down and let the leather stretch as there was a little room at the ends of the fingertips. However, do this at your own caution as we didn’t have to deal with any returns so not sure what the process is like, and we’re not associated with Dents so we wouldn’t be able to help if you had any issues with a return. Sorry none of us here have tried the fratelli Orsini. Have you tried them? Dents are definitely a nice first pair - I've had mine for a couple years now, they are still in great shape and I wear them every day in the winter (through Canada winters!)

@@RadialTV Gloves seem to be ok can not see any issues. I was just a bit anoided when I found the label made in another country. Like when I buy a part for my Chevy in America and it comes with a stamp on it Made in Mexico. But gloves do feel nice on. Graeme in Australia

Correct aussie! Just got 2 pairs of dents gloves. 1 was made in China and the driving gloves were made in the Philippines. Still great quality and a great fit.definitely go a size down,could be where i was going wrong all this time

not 100% sure if it's advised by Dents, but the leather may absorb the smoke smell over time. You might want to check with the manufacturer if you specifically want to know

Yes that is true. The ones they call the Bond gloves have no lining. We opted for a slightly different style that has a lining since we are in Canada and need the warmth!

We agree. That’s why sizing is so important. It will fit one person just fine but on another they may not fit well at all. Ordering the right size is key.

Hey @Coinzy we are in Canada as well and I do use them for shoveling snow and day to day in cold weather, however on a long walk not sure how these compare to thermal or heavier gloves specifically made for very cold weather. These do have the cashmere lining so for a good balance of style and warmth these a really good!

Not familiar with the brand but we took a look and they look pretty nice. However it’s hard to tell the quality and fit online. If you do pick either one up let us know how they are! We’re also on IG @radialmag

You seem to know your stuff, so quick question if you had a very dark navy peacoat not your typical navy blue, would you try the dark blue navy color, stick with typical black or try something else. Probably safe to stick to black maybe because my fall leather jackets. Got some denim jackets in dark blue too for fall. I can only afford one pair and I am worrying if I get dark blue I may not be able to use them for formal or job wear. I do have a navy suit though but I read black and brown gloves are the only accepted formal colors and that the other colors are more casual. When it comes to deciding anything I am terrible I can never make up my mind. Lol

Do you have any recommendations on the dent brands when I am trying to spend little as possible but still get excellent gloves. Your brand is not there anymore have you tried anything else?

These ones are leather so not waterproof unfortunately. They can handle a little bit of water (from winter snow etc) as long as you wipe them down after, similar to how you would care for a leather boot.

Try the brand “Tiger of sweden” My size is 7.5 inc and in Tiger of sweden i use Medium which fit me perfect

@Andy_C0 There is a lot of black leather gloves out there that look very feminine ,my old granny wore them . I have black gloves but they are men’s military patrol gloves & large motorcycle gloves & gauntlets . I wouldn’t be seen dead in those fancy big girly black gloves ,as worn by city pen pushing office types in suits ,carrying girly hand bags , not a good look for a man in my neck of the woods .
