That sight is enough to make a man get emotional. I had my Bigfoot ball cap for so many years, ever since I was 3 years old. I lost it when I moved a few years ago and it absolutely broke my heart.
This takes me back to a little boy, watching this truck drive over other cars. Thank you, Mr Chandler. Thank you for a life long (50 now) love of lifted vehicles, and their limits
The MOST BEAUTIFUL TRUCK ON THIS PLANET. Period. That one absolutely shocked me being a kid in the eighties AND I’M FRENCH…!!! I cannot imagine being American how much that truck should be something……… This beauty is engraved in my memory AS THE ULTIMATE ONE. IMPOSSIBLE TO DO BETTER.
That's my childhood on wheels, lol. I grew up watching that truck kick ass at all those monster truck rallies. I was born in 78' so I was at the perfect age when I saw this truck roll out.
@@hctivokcam that's awesome. Christmas of 84 my mom got me a battery operated bigfoot toy truck it was one of my favorites, and when I turned 7, my uncle made me a radio controlled bigfoot truck, he was a hobbyist, and he built radio controlled vehicles, he said he had to do alot of research to create mine, from matching the paint, to getting the tires just right down to the white rims, he said he spent 6 months making my birthday present, my mom and him went in half to pay for that, back then that stuff was expensive I was the happiest birthday boy in the history of birthday boys, my mom also got me bigfoot varsity jacket to wear when I took my truck to the park. I created a track out of broken toy cars and stuff, from hot wheels to whatever junked toys I could find, I even used My sister's broken dolls and laid those on the track too. Lmfao great times to be a child in the 80s.
We're making a big foot just like that it was my grandfather my Grandma's old Ford truck it's rusted but it'll be painted it'll be there where route is comet back and say where it is
So dear what did you do at work today? It was great honey I got to drive BIGFOOT. That's nice dear. At that moment you realize your wife was not really listening. How awesome it would be to drive that truck.
My girlfriend Shelly was friends with Jim and his wife in the early 80's. I have a photograph of her sitting in this truck with Jim's hat on.😁....who could forget Shelly....
Yes. The Original Monster truck. The truck that was first called a monster truck. But rebuilt many times of the years. Only thing original is probably the driver!
@@LarryKidder-iv7hs Bob’s daughter is in charge now. So it’s still owned by the Chandler family. And yes the original truck is a display piece but they still do shows with the HOT Wheels show and independent monster truck circuits utilizing the updated versions of BIGFOOT.
@@hctivokcam thank you cuz I've always been a big fan and I heard about his passing and you know as a fan I was concerned that the company may go downhill or something bad may happen to it but thank you for letting me know 🙏
@@juansaladzar considering that it is the original old skool monster truck that started it all. I think it will probably stay this way. Come see it July 7th at the BIGFOOT OPEN House 2023.
