I rarely finish with rubber guard, but using it makes my opponents more cautious when trying to pass, which gives me the psychological advantage. My main use for it is forcing the omoplata sweep.
Exactly. Many elaborate maneuvers real effect is that they deter the opponent from complex moves themselves. This is the value of a hard foul in basketball, or an occasional batter getting hit in baseball lol
Poor guy lost his hair quick. How does a guy go from a full head of hair in his mid-40s to damn near fully gone by 50? Gonna assume some exogenous prescriptions meds had something to do with it, or whatever stack he took in anticipation of the second Royler match and afterward.
@@drakegarboden4812 also, none of Eddie’s good wins came though the rubber guard. They all can’t through his half guard (which is good). Rubber guard is dumb and has never worked against anyone that isn’t a club level blue belt.
