Switches are full duplex and they transmit data w/ pair 2(wires 3,6) and they receive data w/ pair 3(wires 1,2).

If you don't know this you are skipping the Network Blueprint or Foundation.

Hmmm I understand the OSI layer. However I get stumped with the SIP protocol. I always think of it as an application layer protocol, but based on your session layer definition I would place SIP on layer 5. In reality I look at everything above layer 4 to be application layer protocols.

Application is the Data itself. Example a website... The protocol is HTTP(Port 80)...Http//www.google.com
