Two days before people from around the world take off from Hopkinton in the Boston Marathon, a group of local runners will hold their own race throughout the city. The unofficial marathon, known as 26.True, runs through more than a dozen Boston neighborhoods. Jean Mike Remy, a member of the crew which organizes the marathon, joins host Craig LeMoult to explain the reasons behind the race.

I’m usually pretty supportive of interviews on this channel, but not so much this one. Was it really necessary to ask Me. Remy about the Boston Marathon? Was the interviewer trying for gotcha journalism? If so, yilch! More questions could have focused on 26.True, which would have been so much more interesting and so much more appropriate for this interview at this time. 26.True is the newsworthy event today, not so older story about a BAA event.
