Many Thanks my husband and I both have a Pardon Crucifix did not know much about it but will carry mine always. My husband passed away Oct. 29,2022 and will use his in the car. My JESUS MERCY 😇🙏🏻❣MRS.SALTY Dog

My name is Deanna too. Loved the video 👍 I just found one on eBay that was antique and it was covered in rust and tarnish. I polished and cleaned it up and now it is shining like a new penny and I hung it around my neck.

I personally love the design of this cross, and the history behind it. Pope St Pius X was a wonderful defender of the Catholic faith, especially against heresies. My understanding is that although the Pardon Crucifix does not carry the same indulgences anymore (excepting the two mentioned in the new Enchiridion of Indulgences to all crucifixes alike), the practices it recommends do afford many graces which are still of tremendous benefit. I wish I had come across this crucifix sooner. Thanks for making this video.

@@DeannaWillistonOFS I was on the parish council and I wanted to say the rosary before mass and I got shot down by outhers on the council and I wanted to show a video on OUR Lady of the Cape which I went to the opening of the movie in Cap DEMADLINE IN Quebec Canada I also live in Canada about 15 hours away from me . Our parish priest said not at this time because it was near Christmas I felt that he was just sweeping it under the rug .. I WAS also involved with the Confraterity of the Most HOLY ROSARY. AND THE NIGHTS OF COLUMBUS who all so sponsored this video and our council also turned me down in showing this video. So I got very disappointed and I prayed the DIVINE MERRY CHAPEL AND THE ROSARY every day for two years and attend mass every Sunday and sometimes during the week . And got my marriage blessed in the church and I have all sacermemts . SO I got very discouraged.

I have no judgement as to whether it is a “must have,” but I do have it touched to relics when I can. See #17 under Norms and the second paragraph of Transitional Norms; Pardon Crucifix is no longer specially listed, but a Crucifix is. www.vatican.va/content/paul-vi/en/apost_constitutions/documents/hf_p-vi_apc_01011967_indulgentiarum-doctrina.html Thank you for your prayers. 🙏

I’m a new Catholic and was gifted the 3 way pardon crucifix. Do you know of any devotionals the compliment the pardon crucifix (3 way)?

That is such a great question, however, I can’t find any answer or even the history of when and why the medals became attached to the Pardon Crucifix. Let me know if you find out.
