i mean ur smart cause i thought he was hella oversteering XD but the reason i think that he drifted and did that understeer is because of the next turn its a turn not a straight so i think he gave up his entry for more speed and plus its raining you cant go through the optimal line cause its dry and much more slipery PLzz DONT HATE ME IF IM WRONG JUST CORRECT ME😭🙏
plus hes getting wide in the last seconds of the vid cause hes getting momentum for the straights and the rain is awful for the straights cause your rear wont have grip BUT NO HATE THOUGH JUST CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG😭🙏
I love it when it rains during shifter carts and single gear kart racing. I just started racing shifter karts and went from asphalt and dirt oval track super latemodels which I still race to now racing road course shifter karts and single gear classes the rain gives me a edge cause I can drive it like a dirt track sometimes and I have won many races in the rain and my first shifter karts win was in the rain
On the track in Neapol you can do some crazy connections. I remember every turn I took was a clean long drift. Especially last long turn and 180° was perfect for drifting.
Did you know they can only (99% of the time) use slicks right ? It allowed equity chance of winning based only on your skill and didn't depends of how much you can spend on tires.
@@raisin57525 No, this isn’t rentals, this is a British kart track called PFI, it’s primarily an owner driver track. You can change tyres. Idk where you got that idea from but there’s very few, and I mean very few classes that don’t have wet tyres.
Powerslide is when u getting out of the corner.. like the name powerslide translate to.. to much power and slide, drifting begins before enter de corner and on the corner but finishing before the corner end is oversteering, the exit already explain but its the video
Understeer isn't a bad thing... you are understeering more than anything else in racing. Understeer CAN be bad if you lose control, but there's nothing inherently wrong with Understeer.
we know what happend just after the short ended. I had very similar situation once while karting at rental. I was just racing when it slowly began raining. It was okay until it just clicked. No traction and full fun. Ended in wall (low speed) cause of understeer. Still, would do it everyday
