Damn, I need one3 of these. I'm a mountain biker but i like moto and this is right up my alley. One thing that struck me as odd is that you used a ramp to get it out of the store. You should have just braaaapped it.

Dang, that motor sound MEATY. I love it! The way it starts chirping when it's airborn reminds me of the high-end remote control hobby cars I use to have, except WAY louder and more, just, more meaty and disgustingly torquey. So great, man. If I were to get a dirt bike one day to compliment my ninja 650 for road, I think you've convinced me to go electric with it! I do wonder what the range differences would be for a comparatively torquey and powerful 4-stroke ICE dirt bike.

I got the enduro version a week ago and tweaked the battery massively, it was good enough as is especially for bigger and taller people like myself, but being able to ride for about 8 times as long as is possible with the original version is nice.

@@JayJankulovski I'm not smart enough to do it myself but there are battery companies that will mod a battery you have to the max it can go without imploding, a good investment for sure, only downside is I now sit on more of an incline due to the battery sticking out

@@gmy33 Replaced the 22.5kw motor to a 19kw one, 48ah battery - 60ah, with 21700 cells (not too sure about that), 90 volts - 86 volts approximately, took out any extra lights, replaced plastic frame etc, so I gave it less thrust, then gave it back by removing unnecessary parts, most of this wasn't done by me and is pretty costly

Wow, you ride much faster than I do. I've owned the Surron Storm 'Beast' for just over a year now. Got 3000km on it. It's as much fun now as when I bought it. Mine's a prototype and very fast - I mainly use 'eco' or 'rain' off-road and 'sport' on road. The shipping model should be faster and have a bit more range due to a bigger battery 104v (vs 92v in the prototype). I ride almost exclusively off-road but can go on road (it's the enduro - street legal version). I wish I had your wheelie skills.

@@TraveladvRajanSRai The range is hugely variable. I can ride about 50km off-road in the mountains but my rides are usually much shorter. On road, at low speeds, you could get 100km but I never ride like that. Maybe 70-80km on road for me but I rarely ride on roads. I live in the mountains of Mongolia so I ride around my home. I can sometimes get 3 rides before I need to recharge. Mountain rides tend to be short in distance and time is more relevant. I'd say 1 hour in sport mode, 2 hours in rain mode and 3 hours in eco mode.

i pre ordered mine. one thing i am scared of is the brake placement coming from a mtb, bmx, and motorcycle rider. Great video but the Suzuki will keep going and takes a minute to fill back up but when the Storm Bee dies how long to charge back up? I've ridden it and yes it's impressive but it ends your day for that reason which sucks and you end up getting back onto the petrol bike so for the price of these I can't really justify it yet

That's the first time I've seen a surron that size there normally smaller. On utube and flick through ebikes it's either stealth bomber or surron and kits ect but yes that's the first surron that looks full size bike I'm 75yrs I've got ebike 52mph. If I was younger I would brobly go for one of them surron. It looks like dirt bike I'm not a fan of dirt bikes it's the front mudguard looks to high. When I look at back of bike it looks compact then when I follow along bike it's that mudguard put me off I think there should be a bracket to fix to suspension then mud guard fix so it's a bit closer to the front wheel but that's me. Very impressed with the power. I think the zero is a better bike. It's a pity can't ride on the road then you would see what top speed is but great bike
