Crazy opportunity getting to ride the NEW 2023 Sur Ron Ultra Bee! Firstly big thanks to Panmi for making this possible. Awesome vid, Jay. Great riding, great shooting and very slick editing and production. I’ve got an Orange bike in the shed that’s probably going the same way as my old nitro RC and Stihl chainsaw-all replaced by battery powered equivalents with absolutely no regrets.

Thanks alot! To be honest I’m not really sure how much of a difference there is between Drive and sport mode, I think sport just has some more torque but I only rode it for 1 good session so I can’t give you a confident answer. Hopefully I can ride it again soon!

Great Video! I run a filmproduction company and work with media for over 20 years, and i can say you are absolutely talented, creative and fresh! I enjoy riding with electric dirtbikes (quantya evo) since 2009, your riding style is very progressive and inspiring a lot. Wit the combination of these two topics and passions you have created a really flowing and funny to watch but highly proffessional video. The insta 360 offers great new perspctive and opportunities especcially for documentations like yours. The ability to film yourself, your subjective perspective and your wheeling buddy at the same time is awsome but also gives you a lot to decide in post production. The fpv drone shots also seem to have a lot of potential! The editing , colour grading and music and sound layer is also very professional. Did you learn that all by yourself, or are you in some kind of media school etc? Take care not to hurt you with all your actions, have fun and i am looking forward to more of your content !

Just got the surron light bee... I felt it was too slow out of the box. So already ordered a nuculer 24f controller. A GLADIATOR 72 MAX - 51AH SUR-RON BATTERY. I want a second bike to ride with friends... my question is after all the upgrades my surron was about 8000 dollars. Should I purchase another surron for my second bike or just F all that and pay 7000 for this bike? I mean it already comes with a 72v battery so thats one upgrade I dont need to pay for. I mostly want to do offroad riding too.

Thank you! That’s a hard question, if my Light Bee was a 72v right now I’d stick with it but the bikes in their current state I’d go with the Ultra Bee just cause the extra power 🫢

@Jay Jankulovski it's hard to look past the crazy amount of aftermarket stuff for the light bee. Unfortunately for me, I am quite tall and can't ever see myself being comfortable on a light bee. I bought a storm bee about a month before the announcement of the Ultra. Would've been great to throw a leg over both the bigger options...still froth the Storm Bee though.

Love the first impression / reaction and the video footage. Thank you! Next step for your videos could be learning audio. Try fading the music up and down a little more slowly, work with your mic to capture your voice more clearly, and level the finished audio track so you don't have big jumps and dips in the volume when moving from voice -> music -> voice.

Depends what type of riding you want to do, but I’d go ultra bee for sure 🔥 if I were to get a full sized dirt bike I’d still go for a petrol one. But the ultra bee and light bee are in their own realm if that makes sense 🤝

If you’re bike had a 72 v it would smoke the ultra bee, I have the light bee X to and I upgraded it to the ko moto controller and motor wit the ebmx 60 v and I’m flyin on the highways passing cars and it’s crazy!!! I love it hahaha 🏍️💨⚡️

Just letting you know, a 72v lbx usually will run about 15kw and is a lot lighter than the ultra bee. So your most likely to win on a 72v lbx over a 12.5 kw ultra bee

you fail to mention the $4000 that you would need to upgrade the battery and the controller for the lbx i plan on upgrading the ultra bee to a 15kw tune it is a better value in my opinion
