This is my 2nd year gardening and I started a compost pile with brown (leaves /cardboard) & greens (grass, old plants, cut hedges, weeds ect ) and it’s for free and can be used to amend your soil! I’m going to start making my own free fertilizer by putting grass clippings in a bucket of water and letting it sit for a few months! There are many ways to save money gardening, including making homemade insecticides, with items you have around the house. Google is your friend when it comes to getting ideas to save money! My library gives out free seeds every year (annuals, flowers & perennials) we are allowed 4 seed packets per day! Find out if your local library has the same seed catalog program! Just some suggestions! 😊👍🏽
