I really like the T-Lite. Cost was on point, I have the crossfire module, but the plan is to keep it under 250mw and on dynamic power, with good cells so not real worried about the 1w issues I’ve seen out there. Great feel, good weight, fits in my grab and go fpv bag better than any other radio.

That LED is ridiculously bright. It eats so much power that the crossfire output can handle only 25mW ;)

Nice looking how difficult would it be to put my VTOL's and my drone being a newbie to flying and setting up transmitters I am fine with my Spektrum DX6R and DX4R Pro as I have been using Spektrum from day one and developed my skills as they got more and more adjustable the DX5R is an amazing transmitter and with their new range of receivers are brilliant Nervous to buy and find I cant put my three multi rotor's on it.

I believe the Radiomaster T16S DOES have a touch screen - its just waiting waiting for an OpenTX firmware update to bring touchscreen support :-)

I wonder if a 21700 battery would be a better choice? Higher Amp battery with more capacity. This may help with battery rattle as the tray seem a little too big for 18650. Have you tried this

Very interested in this little guy. I have the TX16S and I need to get a smaller TX for my wife who has much smaller hands and for buddy boxing. Probably going to wait for the Radiomaster version since we know that will be right around the corner. Hopefully it will include a higher output power.

From what i saw in banggood, the radiomaster version is not better compared to this jumper version..it has separate display with trim buttons in it, pretty hard to reach, and it also lack jp4in1 chip, only cc2500..

@@pikapikacool I believe that you're talking about the Radiomaster T12, in which case I agree with you. The T12 is not a great radio, especially since it doesn't even have the 4in1. I was thinking that Radiomaster might release a gamepad style radio to compete with the Jumper one.

Can not. Multimodule does not support proprietary and not published FrSky Access protocol. Older FrSky receivers (D8 or D16 protocols) work fine.

My Jumper Plus uses the USB port for sims connect and file access. You saying this will only connect to a sim via the round jack?

Hey Justin I received my Jumper T-Lite but I'm unable to bind it to a FrySky receiver R-XSR. I'm not sure what to pick for the Type under Internal RF. I hope you can help me. Quad is a Iflight Protek 25. Red light is flashing on the receiver indicating it's in binding mode. I'm thinking I might have to flash the firmware on the Jumper T-LIte. Thank you!

I would mark a red end on the positive side of the battery all the way around , and a red side on the battery tray, so visually you never absentmindedly put the battery in backwards. Tango 2 is probably the obvious competitor to this radio Where did the red spade gimbal stick ends come from?

I got the Novice-3 from Banggood and it came with the Jumper T-lite. But mine did not come with the External modular bay, it came with fthe piece you plug into it though. I new to fpv so I'm not to sure what it was supposed to come with. Is it supposed to come with an SD card also?

Would this be good for a first “real” controller? Because I’m wanting to finally invest in a nice transmitter and am pretty sold on the Taranis X9D for $195. But one thing I don’t like about most “big boy” controllers is the giant box form factor, and this thing looks awesome in that regard... and only $65???

Bummer, I just got an email from them this morning saying that they aren’t able to meet demand for production, and that they won’t be ready to ship until most likely March. I pre-ordered on December 21st. Their supplier raised prices too, so they’re honoring pre-orders but will most likely have to raise the price on them for future runs. Still excited though, between this and my Tango 2... I can get rid of my big bulky radios now. Great review!

I preordered on december 9 from banggood, and they said it will be delivered from december 27, after the date passed, i got email saying they did not know when it will be delivered, and give options to cancel the preorder or keep waiting (dunno until when, they didn't say) and they will give extra credit points or some sort..and i decided to keep waiting, and by january 27, it's on the way..i'm happy i stay patient and didn't cancel my preorder.. because i worried they would raise the price, and would have a hard time to keep up with the demand for stock..

whenever I connect the controller to the PC (win10) Controller starts to charge only , I don't even see any usb device in usb device manager , my pc is neglecting the remote controller so i am not able to use it in the flight simulator

I've been wanting a smaller radio instead of my Taranis QX7 and this is PERFECT!! I learned a couple things about fail-safes which I didn't know before, so thanks for that. I just ordered mine today from Defiance RC for $69.99 including taxes and shipping! Question, am I going to have to bind all my models to this now or can I just transfer the SD card from my Taranis to this? I think I know the answer but I had to ask. Also so if I bind a drone to this that's already bound to my Taranis, will it still be bound to my Taranis, or it can only be bound to one at a time? Anyway thanks for the great video on this. I had to pre-order this so hopefully it won't take long. I might as well sell my T8SG V2 carbon, and maybe my Taranis QX7 now and what a shame because I just put new Hall gimbals on my Taranis.

It’s odd but I believe you can. I haven’t tired it though. I just setup new models all the time. A backup is key though. Save to sd and give it a shot. Bind only to one radio I believe. But with Taranis it may surprise you!

Yes it can. Downside is it can't use R9 module. And crossfire nano tx is limited to 25mw

Hi Chris - Regarding this radio - people are mentioning the 25mw power limitation so range could be an issue with a plane. Also have one suggestion: not sure how you work to learn and memorize but set yourself up some notes, a spreadsheet, whatever works for you and take notes on what you like, the prices, features, etc... and decide slowly, then when you have slept on it for a few nights or more you will be in ten times a better position than you were only a few weeks ago. If you have a bit of money then this may seem like less of an issue as you could by this radio, use it for a while and then buy a better one. But that is wasteful even if you have the money unless you get a ton of mileage out of the first purchase or perhaps sell the equipment so that it keeps providing value to someone. There is just so much to know know you can get too excited and buy something and end up with buyers remorse and then you don't have the money for the quad, radio, goggles that you are really drooling over. Has happened to me - a bunch! I have many crap radios but never got the radio I really wanted, could have bought it and had a bunch of money over if I only would have followed this suggestion. Better to not have anything or have less things then to buy things that end up being only half of what you really want. Saving an extra paycheck or two is way worth it - time goes by so fast you will be a year into it before you know it!

It is, for a beginner, this radio has it all, it can connect to many receiver brands, so you can try whatever you like and not stuck to any brand. It also can connect to many cheap chinese tiny whoop, some planes and helis..it has almost al features of big full size radio..it even has hall sensor gimbal..

Also interested for non drone use. I'm 47 I started rock crawling with a Very modified CLODBUSTER back in the Stone age. I HATE pistol grip with a passion all that crap feels like Walmart toys. I'm currently and for the foreseeable future 1/24 Micro Crawler Mode 110%! Building a couple SCX24 Deadbolts with 4 wheel steering and DIG! maybe head/brake/ turning/roof lights a winch maybe sound card and was looking at a smoke kit from a H.O. train set. 🤷 I have one tricked out for indoor only and one that's my Ditch Bitch I take EVERYWHERE and find random rock piles and hill climbs around town kinda like when I was young hucking myself off ledges and stairs on various man powered devices in attempts to Woo the ladyfolk like the dumbasses we all were 🤣

Hey dude, I'm looking to buy a nice FPV set up, I've decided on a set of goggles and a drone (Eachine Cvatar) but now I need a transmitter. I'm torn between this and the radio master tx12. Any guidance? I'd like something I can use with a few models with good control range. Thanks for any help you can give!

I have theT-Lite, was in the same situation. I like the controller, the 4 in 1 model has bound to my 3 whoops, 2 frsky D8 and 1 frsky XM+ receiver. More than anything, I think this’ll come down to size. I’m a pincher, and it’s just on the snug side for me getting to all positions on the sticks (still luv it). If you’ve got a brick and mortar shop around, I’d go hold them both, and pick the one that fits you best. Only other issue I can see is if you want to use an external module, the t-lite has some power limitations for running the external bay… so if long distance crossfire is in your future, go with the full size. I have the crossfire nano, and don’t run it over 250mw with the T-lite. I believe Jumper recommends 25mw at this time.

I think I saw elsewhere that if you put a crossfire nano module on it that the power is limited to 25mw due to there only being a single 18650 battery, but that you can power the module separately via USB to go beyond 25mw. Is this what you have seen too? Very curious to know as it would make a difference between getting one and not for me!

JB and AK say yes :) ,just use an external USB pack They seem to think the voltage step up/regulator on the Crossfire adapter is the problem .

When you screw THAT screw in module bay, do that with cover removed and cable pulled out. Then you will not hurt any wire.

DOES NOT WORK WITH R9 Crossfire limited to 25mw. ( Usb power bank might allow more power) They have not mention ghost support or not

Hi Justin, I watch your review on this little Jumper before deciding to buy and now I have it I'm finding that no matter which protocol or RX I am trying to bind with it simply will not bind, having followed all the safety advice, battery, aerial etc and other tutorials. I'm baffled as to why I'm unable to connect, I appears that my T-lite is not transmitting any signal, do you think mine is faulty or perhaps am I missing something?

CC2500 is way less rx protocols. You want the JP4in1 to get all the receiver options for basically everything.

This could have been a great transmitter, but with the 25mw external module limitation makes it just a waste of great components to me.

Does the left side throttle stick return to center out of the box? Looking for a SMALL! stick with radio with lotta channels and mod options for use as EDC SCX24 urban guerilla Rock Crawling project. We find random rock piles around town and session em like we used to do with ledges and banks back in skateboard days. MICRO R.C. IS THE FUTURE! I can crawl with ALL My friends all I gotta do is get em drunk early at a bar near the local hobby shop walk em in there and start talking about the old days and how much fun we had, how these are so cheap we can buy one for everyone in our family and show em some custom builds and point out ALL th 1/24 scale models we can turn into bodies AND I GOT ANOTHER DUDE in my Crawler crew JUST LIKE THAT .....try THAT shit with a SCX10III!! or worse yet when I was big in Comp crawling A SET OF BERG/BULLY or XR10 AXLES and shit to scratch build a chassis and links loose electronics and ....a radio, charger, batteries....the SCX24 IS R.C. CRACK COCAINE! it's a cheap HARD TO SHAKE HIGH. LOL! and I'm out here MAKING BASEHEADS 🤷🤣
