On November 22, 2022, Behaviour released DBD's 26th Chapter DLC - Forged in Fog - which brings a new Killer named the Knight and a new Survivor, Vittorio Toscano.
Please note, the way we chose to present Vittorio and the Knight's story in this video is closely based on and/or paraphrases their DBD lore, though some things said are inferences from what is written about them. We felt that this would be more interesting, especially for those that have already read through it and don't need it read to them. Some of our original thoughts are our best hypotheses and open for interpretation.

Man, Vittorio and the Knight have some of my favorite lore! That was so interesting and unique! The writers did a great job creating rich lore for both of them. It makes me want to main Vittorio as a survivor xD And amazing work once again, brother! 🙌

I found this cause I heard part of Vittorio's lore is that he's faced numerous trials, more than the other survivors, but I didn't know the whole backstory until now. It was like looking for copper and finding gold. Thanks for this! It was a great video

Thank you! I will definitely consider doing a Part 2 eventually, that said, I will probably focus first on doing several other Survivors and Killers first. I plan to explore the lore for a long time to come and there is so much good stuff to cover!

Stranger Things was my favorite chapter and I always wanted it back. Supernatural was my dream chapter #1 for this game for years. But a chapter set in the Middle Ages was always my wish too. A knight as a killer, a cool castle ruin as a map and a hopefully cool survivor. ...Forged in Fog is now my absolute favorite chapter in this game. It far exceeded any wishes I had for a medieval chapter and even if Supernatural comes into the game one day. Nothing can top this chapter. (and no I'm not talking about the killer ability or the perks). The story around the new characters, their design.... everything is so fascinating for me. Vittorio has been my main survivor since he came out. Played a round against the knight on the new map just a few days ago - I was his rancor. When the last generator went on and I was still helping my surviving teammates, I walked up to him and waited for the Mori. I'm looking forward to the Rift and the new stories we will experience. I hope future Cosmetics will tell us even more about them. I really hope next year for Halloween both Vittorio and the Knight will get blightet Cosmetics. It would fit. (And I wouldn't be surprised if Vittorio met Blight/Talbot in the fog when he was still human. It would fit. Two people who explored this world for centuries, become friends and than enemies...).

I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter so much! I really loved the lore and character designs as well. This video was a lot of fun to put together. And I had not thought about Vittorio and Blight meeting before he became the Blight, it would be so cool if they work that in (I'm also not read up on the most recent tome so not sure if they already have?)

@@theARoberts I am through with the Tome Lore of the Knight and Vittorio. Unfortunately, there is nothing about whether Vittorio and the Blight have met. I have some hope that this will change if Vittorio gets a Halloween Cosmetic where the description says something about whether they knew each other or not.

Thanks! I'll have to look up the name, it's a stock piece of music through StoryBlocks that I have access to via my Elgato Stream Deck, so I'm not sure on the name (I'm at work right now otherwise I'd look it up)

I'm grateful to hear you appreciate how I've approached it. These are my favorite videos to put together, and those that watch them seem to really enjoy them as well, they just don't get the interest that some of my other videos do for some reason. But nevertheless, more are on their way!
