*0:25** LYRICS - Carolina in the Pines* ------------ She came to me, said she knew me Said she'd known me a long time And she spoke of being in love With every mountain she had climbed And she talked of trails we walked up Far above the timberline From that night on I knew I'd write a song With Carolina in the pines There's a full moon on the fourteenth First quarter, the twenty first And a full moon in the last week Brings a fullness to the earth There's no guesswork in the clockwork Of the world's heart or mind There are nights I only feel right With Carolina in the pines As the frost grows on the windows The wood stove smokes and glows As the fire grows we can warm our souls Making rainbows in those coals And we talked of trails we walked up Far above the timberline There are nights I only feel right With Carolina in the pines Album: Live Sessions, Vol. 01 ------------------------------------------------ *4:14** LYRICS - It's Over (an Ellen and Katie original)* ------------ How do I tell you it's over? How can I convince you to move on? How can I get you to see That your last love won't be me? That all that we once had is now gone Yes, it's true in the past that I loved you But those tears that I've cried are no more Please just try to understand That you'll never be my man My heart has gone away, I've closed the door How do I tell you it's over? How can I convince you to move on? How can I get you to see That your last love won't be me? That all that we once had is now gone Oh, please don't ask the things you could work on Don't you see dear you've done nothing wrong? I just came to let you know That my answer's still a 'no' Your love for me has lasted far too long Oh, how do I tell you it's over? How can I convince you to move on? How can I get you to see That your last love won't be me? That all that we once had is now gone Look right there, Sally-Anne, she's a nice girl And I've heard my mama say she's sweet on you Well, I've tried my very best Won't you please give me a rest? Just go on now and find somebody new How do I tell you it's over? How can I convince you to move on? How can I get you to see That your last love won't be me? That all that we once had is now gone Oh baby, how do I tell you it's over? How can I convince you to move on? How can I get you to see That your last love won't be me? That all that we once had is now gone How can I get you to see That your last love won't be me? Yey, all we had once is now gone Album: Live Sessions, Vol. 03
When god was raining talent, this family must of been holding 5 gallon buckets, they are immensely talented, and all good looking and Ellen's voice is pure gold, her tone and phrasing is amazing
My 8 year old son who has Down syndrome really likes this song. He asked for "the movie with the Petersons and the man in the orange jacket". It took me a bit to find it but this is it! Thank you for sharing your music online!
Wonderful and very cheerful lovely family.... I viewed daily their You Tube music I like them all it erases my stress.... From the Philippines....Godbless and stay safe....
Each of them has special God given talent, gift and thankful that they are sharing it to the world specialy this pandemic makes me discover the Petersen band so lovely ,thier simplicity ....
The more I watch this family the more amazed I am. Not only are they all phenomenally good, but are that good with MULTIPLE instruments! Bravo! And please keep your original work coming!
Clean crisp sound . It's nice to see Dad joining in on the group, though having heard the band with the addition of Emmett and his Dobro, I can't say I don't miss it!
Wow! What a wonderful concert, dear Peterson Family! You are so talented, and thank you for sharing God's great gift! God bless, Brother Charlie Pratt, O.H.
I don't think I have ever been exposed to bluegrass. I barely started listening to country music again a few years ago. I stumbled across the Petersens and now I can't get enough of you guys.

Three different BASS Players I have noted. Mom was most seen for me .... young man and now older gentleman - DAD - Perhaps ?!? Love these very fine Singers / Musicians - Noted as well Emmet Franz (Dobro) is absent here.

They're all hawt, but Ellen, my goodness. I also just listen to the music without looking and I have to say, the slide guitar player is super talented. They're really all very talented and it makes me feel jealous.
Karen swapped to running sound and seeing people to their seats when Julianne took over the mando. Jon just played bass on the road and college friends jumped in for their evening shows
