The Philippines’ Clearest waterfall | It’s Hard to Believe! 🇵🇭
Taytay Falls is a breathtaking waterfall located in Majayjay, Laguna, in the Philippines. Surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees, the falls offer a peaceful and serene escape from the rush of daily life. The waterfall cascades down into a beautiful pool, inviting visitors to take a refreshing dip in its cool and crystal-clear waters.
To reach Taytay Falls, visitors must trek through a scenic forest trail, adding to the allure of the adventure. The trek is relatively easy and takes approximately 20-30 minutes, allowing visitors to take in the scenery along the way. Once they reach the falls, they can relax on the rocks surrounding the pool, swim in the refreshing water, or marvel at the scenic forest views.

Down here in Laguna are the Seven Lakes and the famous falls. And there are quaint adobe and brick stonehouses as well as antique Spanish-time mansions converted into boutique hotels and inns for reasonable prices. Sometimes they are tucked far deep into mountains where you can enjoy the rustic vistas of greenery and partake of the famous Filipino hospitality.

I've been to this falls & some streams there in this part of Laguna/Quezon boundary mountains I think the source of the water is from a spring underground, it's so cold it's not good for swimming & dipping

You're genuinely happy living in the Philippines. It was a good decision when you first expressed the idea of moving to the Philippines after being disgruntled in Bangkok for reasons we know already. Still, how so nice to see you chirpy and blissful. Who wouldn't when those Falls are beautiful and sparkling? Your YT channel is gaining a lot more attention and you are famous now, largely because of the interesting content you show and provide, regardless of how tired you are. Oh to be young again like you. Thank you and I wish good health and YT success. Stay happy and grounded. Cheers from Spain!

I would imagine that most of the water is groundwater. If it’s on the mountain, then there are plenty of aquifers before it becomes surface water downstream. It is clear and cold because it is close to the headwaters in the mountains.

Laguna is really known for their majestic waterfalls, rivers and lakes. On the other hand if you are looking for beaches you can visit the nearby province of Quezon. Nearest would be thru Pagbilao, Quezon. You can have a day trip Island hopping (Bilihan Sandbar, Kwebang lampas, Dampalktan Island and Borawan Island) Arranging your trip can be done once you reach the area which includes boat rentals. There is also an island in Mauban, Quezon (Cagbalete Island). Basically, Quezon features a series of beach resorts with access to clear beach waters considering that the province’s coastline has a total of more than 1000 kilometers. Many of these destinations are already popular with local tourists but unknown to many foreigners. Hope you would consider taking this unbeaten path.

You know what else is hard to believe? That the Pasig River and every other natural waterway in the Manila area used to look like the water in that waterfall. Same with Manila Bay, it used to as blue any water you'd find in the Philippines outside of the major cities. Hopefully the cleanup effort will make it the way it was before.

*it's so crystal clear!* most provincial water sources (like waterfalls, rivers, lagoons, lakes, cold or hot springs, swamps, estuaries and even beaches), are crystal clear during summer or dry season in the country it's prominently clear from middle of march to middle of may (when rain / typhoon are virtually non-existent in most parts of the philippines) the bluish-green coloration is aptly called "turquoise blue," or informally, the "gatorade blue" "cebu's kawasan falls," is probably, the most "gatorade blue" waterfalls i've ever seen, and "hinatuan enchanted river" is the most crystal clear of all rivers
