I like this era of racing. small crews. Loud cars. I was lucky enough to see Trans Am and Can AM during these days. I think Penske's approach started the change toward a more corporate approach to racing in the top echelon.
Chevron Paradise 6 hour, November 1969, at Surfers Paradise Raceway (RIP). Not a round of the ASCC which Frank had already won in the newer SR4. Don O'Sullivan owned the SR3 by now, and Matich shared the driving duties for this event.
@@marguskiis7711 sure. But this is 60's sports cars. You still see push starts at Le Mans. I am pretty sure it was the pushing the car backwards in the pit lane.
