The US doesn’t help China, on the contrary China is helping the US billionaire/wall street/oligarch (whatever the name) to make more money though Chinese cheap labor and effective manufacturing ecosystem. During this process, China gets technological transfer and know-how. China is actually democratic, just not liberal democracy. China is democratic because democracy means the government gives what the people need. If China isn’t democratic, how can they achieve high growth? Only when the needs of the people are fulfilled will the economy grow.
No fan of big corporations, but let’s face it not many people in this country want those jobs. Factories in New England have multiple help wanted signs out, and they get nothing but lazy people coming in or nobody at all
@@jackhaughYou have to be seriously naive, to think America 'spreads democracy'. Anyone who says that, clearly has done zero research from a broader perspective. America is an undercover empire propping regimes and funding militia groups to perform coups and destabilise nations that don't surrender to the western agenda (the dollar). You have no leaders, as they only have a shelf life of 4-8 years paving the way for the next one. Your 'democracy' is an illusion to satisfy the masses, whilst the true owners of America can execute their agendas, diving people as much as possible so not to be aware and remove the tyrannical entities. Wherever America goes, they leave behind paid members in politics and military bases. Anyone who doesn't confirm to these ideas, is labelled as a 'dictator' or 'terrorist'.
@@jackhaughWhat classifies as spreading democracy? Toppling governments and leaving the nation in ruin, killing civilian women men and children? Like the 1 million dead civilians as a result of the illegal illegitimate immoral Iraq invasion and occupation committed by the U.S., U.K. Coalition forces? Please.
I sometimes think Americans are too used to their arrogance - "oh it's a failure cause we have to play by their rules, and we want everyone to play by our rules" .... Is essentially what he's bitching about. This is the catastrophe : that America may not be able to bully everyone
Didn't know about "escher wyss" and i'm born in zurich… there is a place called "escher wyss platz" (platz = plaza) still to this day, just in plain sight… didn't know this untill now and i'm 31 yo… THAT IS SO SICKENING 😤 I wonder how zurich got away with keeping or even naming that plaza, also how can the citizens who know about this life with it ?! If that bothers you morally.. Read Anne Jacobsens book on operation paperclip. The US; after the war, justified the scare of the Soviets and their thermonuclear war; to give citizenship to highly coveted war criminal nazis dr and scientists to work in the dept of energy and nasa. Hell, heres a big slap in the face as well. Kurt Debus. The Debus award name sake. Worked in the Kennedy space center. His work developing V2 rockets for the Germans got him notoriety. The backstory to that, himself and Werhner von Braun were developing these rockets in Germany in caves with use of slave labor from concentration camps. Where the slaves exchanged avoiding the gas chambers to go to work instead. And they literally worked them to death. Railroad traks went in one side of the cave and rockets and bodies came out the other side. One of Nazis responsible for the development and discovery of Sarin gas. Which the name itself is made up of a Letter from each chemist name. A.. for Otto Ambros. AMBROS would later be a leading chair in the US Dept of Energy. Ambros was the head of operation of a synthetic rubber factory in south Aushwitz-Monowitz known as Buna rubber. A manufacturing facility known for its brutality of hanging "workers" who were slow and or refused to work to set an example of what will happen to others who follow in their shoes. Think about that.. US thought it would be a better option that they get these favored and coveted Nazi scientists and dr to come to the US so the Soviets wouldn't get them. Despite some 1600 of them. A majority of them were legit convicted war criminals in the Nuremberg trials for human experiments on Jews, and deaths of Jews.
I have a great deal of suspicion and mistrust when I hear someone talk about "spreading democracy". Based on our track record, I think it is safe to say that we ain't exactly the party that could claim any reasonable level of success in that department.
Well said and the world bank and suspect intelligence agency hedge funds run by a front man. China might do things on their terms, but their terms are much more favourable than US and the wests. You only have to look at what we did to Bolivia a few years ago when china offered better deals so we staged a coup and overthrew the government and Elon Musk boasted about it!!!
Trillions were stolen from the middle class and used to prop up china. Muh "you wouldn't pay 2k for an iphone", yes, yes we would - those jobs would be still in the U.S. and that money would be circulating within the U.S. economy. Biggest scam of the 21st century
What he’s saying about China’s economic strategies being unfair, anyone who’s read Confessions Of An Economic Hit Man knows that they got those strategies from the US of A.
Are you serious ? You think U.S. are the first empire that developed this strategies ? China got U.S. beat by few mileniums , why you think Mongols took it over ?
I lived in China for a while. Communism mixed with capitalism works very well for them 💯 750 million people lifted from poverty to the middle class! Pros and cons, but the ccp has a really good government model with no nepotism
The reduction in poverty has nothing to do with them being communist or it being mixed with capitalism. They're economically capitalists and socially communists.

@@johnmartin8039 It means a population of intelligent and wealthy people can challenge existing monopolies. However, if you destroy their livelihoods, poison their food supply, demoralize them, and make them hate each other, they will not challenge your monopolies, since they are too busy just trying to survive and fight each other.
they said that in the 60s and fought back late 60s/70s starting by assassinating the president and black leaders. Americans had more time on their hands and there were massive environmental, social and financial gains cutting in on profits and power

Makes perfect sense that English born speakers can not pronounce native Chinese words easily. When is the last time you heard a Chinese person say the word "look"?
lol. China has been the biggest economy on the planet for 18 of the last 20 centuries. Wealth was extracted out of China through imperialism/colonialism. Think opium money that went into ivy league cities. US then tried to contain and exploit China. Entire globe is now turning against US - guess why. US terrorism across the globe.
Also letting them buy land in America and manufacturing facilities. I've worked in dozens of factories in my life and everyone of them at some point will say "we need to clean up, we are having visitors on such and such day." Then its a bunch of Chinese dudes coming in checking out the place and a few times buying or investing in the factory. Then we get layoffs.
There's a book called _The Hundred-Year Marathon_ that talks about China's goal of overtaking the US as the global superpower. China is graduating over a million engineers a year and building hypersonic missiles while America's most pressing concern is about pronouns with a geriatric Alzheimer's patient steering the wheel.
I always saw it this way. America exploited chinese cheap labor and lack of labor laws for decades so the corporations can profit and consumers can get things for cheap. Then china learned the game and became successful and now we’re crying “not fair!” Why weren’t we all against human rights when we were exploiting their labor? We are just mad they are becoming powerful and are trying all kinds of ways to undermine that.
He also seemed to be confused about losing market cap vs losing money. He said Google lost $90 billion and said he didnt realize they had that much to lose. They dont. They lost market cap
The idea that China puts countries in debt traps or otherwise makes them dependent is a myth that has been debunked by the economist Deborah Brautigam in a recent article for The Atlantic. She notes that, in fact, China often gets the short end of the stick when making deals with developing countries as China is so desperate for resources. Brautigam is no softie, either: she is a scholar at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) at Johns Hopkins who has studied African development since the late 1970s, and wrote a book on China's relationship with Africa titled, The Dragon's Gift: The Real Story of China in Africa.
现在有些事情变了,我告诉你,A global war has begun, and although foreign media have been hiding the news, it is easy to know in China what chess game is being played in order to deal with the present, future world powers, China, Russia, Iran. You know, how many countries are attacking what you call number one, and how many attacks she's been subjected to, and she's afraid to say, bases, garrisons
Most Chinese leaders studied in western countries and they see flaws of the “western democracy “ and they never bought the ideology that western countries tried to sell them. Just look at XI, the present leader of China, he studied in Ohio state university.
Furthermore, all those so called “China experts “ always wrong about China while barely any one of them stayed or studied in China or speaking Chinese language. After all they aren’t so “expert” if they don’t even speak the language.
What i wanted to say is that I don't think the version of democracy we have now is not what the founding fathers set up. It was meant to be a republic. "And to the Republic for which it stands".
@@contacthigh8571interesting how both the Constitution and Bill of Rights never actually mention God. They do, however, mention the separation of church and state...
The unnatural fear of communism by American is just fascinating. The irony is that they ignore their country’s involvement in others similar to the Soviet union
Ive been saying this ish for years. Without china we pretty much have nothing. Hearing this really leans into that TikTok thing. How is the US going to try to force them to sell their company? TT is world wide, and I just feel like the US underestimated the power of another country again, especially one that makes pretty much every dam thing we own. They tried to hit china with all of these extra dam fees and rules and now look, every dam thing is expensive. If they really wanted to be effective in ruling a country like china, they would cap some of these prices. Theres no dam way a cell phone should cost thousands of dollars. I guess we shall see.
It's always sort of shocking to hear someone that confident and not understand anything what he is talking about, nor not making much of connections between things, like why Cuba would suck. Or to think North Korea sucked, but apparently doesn't anymore.
A global economy, especially a capitalist one, requires rich and poor countries. One for cheap manufacturing to sell for affordable prices to the privileged. However, now, everyone clamours when they realize their Nike shoes are made by 10-year-old Chinese children, or their Apple phones have cobalt mined from slave camps in the Congo. Mostly, first-world countries love to virtue-signal about how the world should change, while blissfully ignoring the conditions of which their consumerism is built upon. We create consoling ideas like recycling, where around 75% of what we put into blue bins is either put into landfills, burned as emissions or shipped to 3rd world countries (we pay for them to burn it off our carbon books). Currently, what matters most in the world this year is whether US voters put a decrepit, deceitful 81-year-old in office or a unfit, deceitful 77-year-old in office. Food for thought: "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." - John Adams
I remember having to order parts for my company about ten years ago. I wanted to order from America only but the cost difference was China was 80% cheaper. Good luck changing that lol

its kinda funny that these so called "china experts" often assume that the governments of third world countries are somehow dumb, unsophisticated, and are often victims of either the eastern/ western bloc policies. You want to know why third world countries are much more receptive to chinese infrastructure investment? because they are much more "professional" and often are direct as to their business interests. The west however would often sell their political ideologies first. Remember, the "unsophisticated" government of Afghansitan and the local tribal/ religious power players milked the US taxpayer's money for 20 plus years without America gaining anything besides dead veterans and loss of billions of dollars. Now China has moved in and started developing infrastructure and industtries needed bby te Afghans without shedding any blood. The BRI is very successful in places like Africa and SE Asia, really helped the transportation of goods, thus increasing the robustness of the local economy. This guy is talking out of his ass. Might as well report this videos and the whole podcast as misinformation.
You can blame others, however; If you want answers look 👀 in the mirror. Monopolistic-capitalism is a criminal hierarchy. The few benefit at the cost of the many. It's not 4D chess. Many historians and other academics have stated that the Cold War itself is what stabilized the world otherwise, there would have been another World War. In other words, the lack of a formidable enemy leads to World War. It's no different now, but instead of U.S.S.R, we have China.
More like China has US… they’re officially the superpower of the world as of now. I mean look at us? How can you look at Biden and think the US is still the same superpower it was. I mean we’re being invaded by illegals… imagine if they were soldiers?! We’ve never been weaker as a country. All the left cares about is expanding the LGBTQ community. They’re literally indoctrinating and recruiting faster than the US military. We can’t handle Mexican’s and South America invading us… imagine if a country with a strong masculine military decided to invade?! They would pound our asses through Mexico
You talk billions when the United States printed Trillions. At the end China, Us, the entire world still sufferers from people living in poverty for no reason. Basic needs should have been given and met for every human to at least try to prosper some never will be the opportunity should of been there. No one’s country doesn’t have this issue , it’s time for the world to come together and fight against poverty of the masses, it would fix so much that’s wrong with this planet.

China's model worked well for their people. Similar population size next door in the so called largest democracy, and look at the different rates of transformation in both countries.
I read The Coming Collapse of China by Gordon Chang 20 years ago. He predicted everything that's now happening in China and he got so much crap for it. That deserves more respect.
There a book of Marxism I don’t know if you can buy it from Amazon or not. The book already predicted the end periods of capitalism and how globalization is being implemented. I studied some of it when I was in China. Kinda hard just to explain it because it describes a whole different political system than the capitalism. So yeah the waste worlds rant about how socialism and communism is evil is because the western countries are fear mongering its people so they will hate it.
Where did you get this guy Joe ? , he says we went to China to build CHINA , NO the Chinese built China , do not forget millions of Chinese workers who worked in factories for peanuts for decades , while investing their income into US stocks and Bonds , they became rich by work and investing and education....
Bro your just repeating what us media says. Go to check the belt and road website and see the progress of the projects yourself before laying out stupid comments like these
Oh, and "democracy" is a red herring. There are autocratic regimes that rule in the interest of their nation and are responsive to need, and there are democratic regimes that rule in the interest of wealthy international interests and could not give two sh1ts about the people that vote them in. I am a UK citizen living in China, in case you wonder where this insight comes from.
Who said democracy is good? Who said capitalism is good? Are there any democratic/capitalist countries that take care of their poor or sick? The whole concept of capitalism is someone makes money while someone loses money. How is that a good idea? The whole idea of democracy is that nothing actually gets done, especially in the US.
Socialism and communism depends on optimism. "this time is gonna be different! Damn, well this time is gonna be different! Damn, well, this time is gonna be different..."

I can’t honestly blame on the us government for thinking china in the end will become democracy because the same strategy worked on Japan and South Korean.
I hope to hear something useful, but the comment made from about 0:43 onwards doesn't give me hope. He criticises China for going into countries and putting in the capital investment that will allow them to build the infrastructure that will allow for the exploitation of raw materials in that territory. That seems really positive to me. The problem is not with the Chinese doing that, it is with local people not using the wealth that this might generate to lift up the rest of society through taxation and profit sharing so that other economic sectors might benefit.
to be fair, cooperation between China and the US made the last 40 something years one of the most prosperous times in world history. Insane amount of wealth was reated across the board. Billions of people's life were changed for the better, and US still is the No.1 Economy in the world and overtook China in growth in just five or so years. Great plan if there is one.
Lol😂. This guy doesn’t know what he talking about. Deng Xiaopeng only wanted to lead his people out of poverty after what Mao destruction of the Chinese people with his economic policies and red army did. Deng wanted to implemented capitalism but he didn’t want to let go of power of communism party. Therefore he implemented term limits hoping to make it a true republic. Unfortunately Xi reversed a lot his work. After Deng came back from exile he help china great again. You think he or the party give a crap about world domination at that time? Deng only want his for people to be feed and gainful employment. 😂people in USA don’t know about China history of the cultural revolution and 100 years of humiliation by western countries and yet they talk like they know a lot.
