So I noticed, we mostly got every protagonist we play in the games, those being Red, Ethan, Brendan, Lucas, Hilbert, Nate, Calem and Elio, as well as Leaf, Kris, Lyra, May, Dawn, Hilda, Rosa, Serena , Selene and Gloria. But something is clearly missing, if they were able to bring the protagonist of the Black and White sequels, where are the protagonist of Ultra Sun and Moon?
Ryuki gives me “So we modeled this guy, but we don’t really want to use him to have a cool master-less trial moment for the dragon z crystal instead, but we don’t wanna waste him so let’s make him a secret boss” vibes. It’s pretty strange, honestly.
Yeah I never quite got Ryuki. His vibes were way out of place and feels just kinda plopped onto the games. I guess the Devs wanted a specialist for each type so they made him a wandering singer who uses Dragon Pokémon.
I remember even Pokémon Special just kinda slapped him into the Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon Arc at the end as a guy who was sent to battle Gladion for no real reason by Faba.
OK, guess I'll make my own list of forgotten/forgettable Pokemon characters that weren't in this video, following the same rules. Note : I'm mostly gonna talk about the main games. I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the anime, most spin-offs or the manga. So if some of these guys are more fleshed out in any of these medias, sorry in advance. -- Kanto : *Baoba :* Warden of the Fuschia Safari Zone, he gives you the Strength HM if you find his Gold Teeth. He doesn't appear in GSC, though it's mentionned he's travelling. However, he reappears in HGSS, finally getting a name, and on his way to create a new Safari Zone in Johto. But yeah, aside from an appearance in Let's Go, retaining his HGSS name, we haven't seen him since. *The Copycat :* Quite like Koichi, she has a pretty fleshed out story for such a minor character. In Gen 1, she lives in the northwest of Saffron City, and gives the player the Mimic TM in exchange for a Poké-Doll, and that's pretty much it. Between Gens 1 and 2, though, her house was destroyed to build the Magnet Train Station, and she moved with her family a little bit to the south. In Gen 2, she asks to find her Poké-Doll in Vermillion City, then gives us the Magnet Train pass. And that's it. The remakes change a bit what she asks and what she gives, but that's roughly the same thing. Also, her large number of dolls and her mimicking habit were pretty noteworthy, especially when she starts mimicking our character. *Daisy Oak :* Unlike her brother and her grandfather, she doesn't do much aside from giving maps and tea. I find it kinda odd that the games bothered to give her a name (when not even our own mother has one, they could just have named her "Blue's sister"), yet they don't do anything with her. But hey, she has a Fame Checker page, that's something, I guess. (Actually, I'm starting to notice a pattern here : minor Gen 1 characters reappearing in Gen 2, since you revisit Kanto, thus making them technically recurring, but it's kinda cheating) Also, I'm hesitating on including *Janine*. Despite being a gym leader in Gen 2's postgame, that's still a pretty underwhelming gym challenge overall, and she's the weakest leader of it all (I mean, I get they wanted her to be weaker than her dad, but that doesn't make much sense from a game design standpoint). That was kinda fixed in HGSS, but she's barely acknowledged outside of Gen 2 : she had a small cameo in FRLG, and she appeared in BW2's PWT, when even her dad didn't, which is cool for her, but then nothing in Let's Go. So I'm not really sure. -- Johto : *Kurt :* Kurt is related to the Slowpoke Well Team Rocket incident, but he's most notorious for his special Poké-Balls made with Apricorns. Though, most of these balls are pretty useless, and in Gen 2, glitched to make them even more useless. But still, that's noteworthy at least. But even when his balls returned in newer games, he had nothing to do with them, they were just there. *Team Rocket Executives :* There are four of them : Archer, Ariana, Petrel and Proton. They first appeared in Gen 2, with no name and no unique appearance (except for Ariana). In FRLG's postgame, two "Rocket Admins" appear, hinting at the future scenario of Gen 2, and given their teams, we can link them to Archer and Ariana. It's only in HGSS that they got proper names and designs. But since then, we've hardly seen them. They didn't appear in the Rainbow Rocket episode in USUM, then Archer got to appear in Let's Go, but not the others, and that's it. Archer's status might be debatable, thanks to his Let's Go appearance, but the other 3 are definitely forgotten. (Nothing to add about Hoenn and Sinnoh) -- Unova : *Anthea and Concordia :* Those two have always confused me. They appear in the game intro of Pokémon Black and White, and then, they only appear once in the whole game, at the very end, in N's Castle (and are entirely missable). In the sequels, they can be found in the original Team Plasma's building in Driftveil City, and once again, don't do much. Even their role in the story is underwhelming : they were orphans adopted by Ghetsis, and asked to take care of N, and that's it. It all makes me wonder why they even bothered including them in the first place. And of course, we haven't seen them since Gen 5. But hey, at least they have cool designs. -- Kalos : *The Battle Chatelaines :* I'm not sure if we can really talk about them, since they're pretty recent, and it's only recently that Pokemon started giving its battle facility leaders some spotlight, like with Anabel in Gen 7 or Ingo in Legends Arceus. So maybe they'll do something with them in a few years. But for now, yeah, they're just chilling in their Maison waiting for you to fight them. I think Gens 7 and 8 are too recent to really judge if their characters were memorable. Now, I'd like to mention *most of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four members*. Sure, some of them reappeared, some of them had some sidequest related to them that made them more memorable, but I feel like most of them are just waiting in their gym/room, you fight them and that's it. I'm not sure if I can call this memorable.
Uhh...doesn't being the most memorable character actually make him a character you didn't forget? I doubt people remember the Other Cipher Admins or even the dark Riku cosplayer
@@DigiRangerScott I mostly remember Argenta because: 1. she's the only Frontier Brain I've faced (I even beat her first try!) 2. she was mentioned quite a bit in MandJTV's "the legendary problem (and how to fix it)" because she had a lot of different legendaries
I actually didn't have to Google the names for Spencer, Tucker, or Greta and I've pretty much forgotten the names of pretty much every character introduced in gens 5 through 8 other than rivals, gym leaders and champions
As much as I love oras, this video highlights things I wished they had done, wether it be having Juan be a secret boss similar to steven in emerald. At least a double battle featuring you vs steven and wallace(and secretly hoped for a mega Milotic), showcasing the frontier brains/scott in a cameo way similar to how hgss added sinnoh leaders in various places as well as sinnoh having Jasmine in Sunnyshore.
I'd swap out honey for either her son, or the sword and shield hair guys. If you complete all there is in that DLC then you will interact with her quite a bit. Plus anyone playing competitive is gonna want to level up the dojo to get discount vitamins.
See I never forgot Mira; because I was just trying to train my pokemon in the cave; I talked to her cuz I thought I'd get a new trainer battle encounter, and then got stuck with an escort mission I was not prepared for with pokemon I was trying to level up so they sucked! The whole experience was miserable for me so no I never forgot Mira. Did I like her anywhere near as much as Cheryl or the blue hat guy? Absolutely not. But will I forever be scarred by my encounter with this small lost child? Yes, yes I will! And you're telling me I COULD'VE SKIPPED IT THIS WHOLE TIME? Yeah definitely forever scarred.
That man is so iconic he's an actual tourist attraction of Driftveil. One npc mansions the city is known for three things, the market, the cold storage, and Charles
The seven sages, specifically Giallo, Ryoku, and Bronius, were forgotten. They only appear in black and white, and don't get anything in BW2, unlike Zinzolin and Rood.
An interesting thing about Charon: Despite his presence being absent in BDSP, they kept his journal in the Rotom room (the Rotom room itself being a Platinum carryover) with all of the text within, complete with his faded signature. This leads to the implication that he either left Team Galactic before the events of the main story, passed away at some point before the main story, or, considering the Rotom Room is meant as a post game event in BDSP (despite it only requiring the National Dex which can actually be obtained after entering Eterna for the first time through some trade/transfer shinanigans) he could just be working behind the scenes and we simply never see him. Though that’s just the narrative; we all know the real reason is that they wanted to be “faithful” and not carry anything over from Platinum’s changes to the main story.
Did you forget about Anthea and Concordia (a blonde and a pink-haired girl from N's Castle), or are they actually more relevant than I thought, and don't count as obscure? There are also people like Magnus, the founder of Pokéathlon, and Pop Roxie (Roxie's dad), who both have distinct sprites, so they should count too. Also Kurt from Johto.
Athena and Concordia and a handful of special apperances (the opening of BW, N's Castle in Bw, Plasma House in B2W2, and also the anime where they were put in the BW Season 2 opening).
@@zjzr08 Speaking about games, I still think they don't have that much presence, definitely not more than many listed in the video. Not familiar with the Unova anime though, are they more prominent in the anime than any Frontier Brain or Stat Trainer was? None of them are forgettable for me anyway, I even knew Spencer was Spencer, when he asked 😀
I think one of the most forgettable characters are Nita, Evelyn, Morgan and Dana who are the four leaders from the Battle Maison in Gen 6, and yes I had to look up their names
Oh, I can guarantee Lucy hasn't been forgotten, specially on the latin american fandom. In the dub of the episode where she is introduced in the anime, her title as frontier brain was translated as something that could be interpreted in some places as "Lucy, the d*ck queen" (Lucy, reina del pico). As you can imagine, this has become a meme.
@@emilstoqanov3270 Paulo has been here since the games' launch, but at least with him we don't have any expectations of him being playable anytime soon now with the advent of region focused Villain Arcs.
About Ryuki, an Italian RU-vidr called Cydonia did an interview to Masuda and asked if Ryuki will return in SwSh for his rocket nature. Masuda saw that he has forgot the character
Here's the link for anyone interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BwGvhneGCy4.html I'm Italian too and I remember the disappointment very well...
I can never forget Lucy. She left too much of an imprint in my mind in the anime when she actually has feelings for Brock but Brock’s friends pulled him away, making little kid me think Brock found his soulmate. That and Lucy was a waifu of mine back in the day.
She was the first frontier brain I ever encountered and when I was little I had no idea the frontier had bosses, which when she pummeled me (as I wasn’t ready for her) it left such an impression on me
Here’s one you all forgot about- the Riches family in Undella Town in Black & White. They feel like they were supposed to be the spiritual successors to the only-slightly-more memorable Winstrate family in Hoenn.
As for XY, the one forgotten character that you missed is the mega evolution guru Gurkinn (yes, I had to google his name). He is basicly Korina's Grampa and has a unique sprite, so he counts as a "important character". Edit: there is also that medal rally guy for BW2 who had a unique sprite.
Ghurkinn is pretty important in the game's story tho, you get the mega ring from him after all. And there's an entire anime arc during XY, then he shows up to fight Ash & Lucario when they want to mega evolve.
He is not really forgotten because of the anime he appeared when ash fought korina in journeys he is really important in the anime because he is the one who truly introduced mega evolution to ash
I have a disgusting amount of headspace when it comes to Pokemon. When I know a characters name, I'm gonna remember it. That being said, I could not be *paid* to remember the Team Flare commanders except Xerosic. I always just call them the "Pretty Skittles Briggade."
purple hair is Celosia, blue hair is Mable. I can't remember the others. Ok looked it up, orange hair is Alliana, green is Byrony. You fight them all like 2 times max and fsr nameless "admins" are a thing when the scientists are far closer to admins then the actual admins.
I remember them more than him just cause "pretty ladies" stand out to me more immediately of course lol. But that doesn't mean i can tell you all their names or anything. But team flare in general is meh so...
@@MagillanicaLouM has anyone noticed how many millionaires are in x and y you have to cough up 1 million dollars to join some probably gave more for higher positions I mean there is literally a scientist that has failed every mission given to her
@@johnax4124 it does not help that the admins of team flare has the hardest names to remember, they're not like team galactic with theme naming, at least with team aqua for me i have an excuse, it's a version exclusive team and i mainly played ruby and omega ruby so i don't remember the names shelly and matt, especially matt, i always think max for some reason but team flare has no excuse
Oh yeah, that guy! The Secret Base Expert from ORAS who uses a severely underleveled Flygon. Fun fact: the developers chose Flygon as his ace because it's the only Pokemon that can learn both Fly and Secret Power that isn't already used by a major character.
11:00 I'm just now realizing considering his main personality is "small child" they could have easily had him instead of Cameron lmao (yes he's a super boss in BW2 but idk Hop is also just starting his journey now in journeys, feels like can show at an earlier point). Guess they really wanted the league rival to have Lucario lmao
I'd argue Janine belongs on this list if for no other reason than being the only gym leader so far that hasn't made an appearance in the anime. Which is odd, considering both Battle Frontier and Journeys would've been decent places to finally introduce her and allude to Koga joining the Indigo Elite Four.
I honestly would've loved to see Scott throw down with this ultra powerful team. He is a founder and scout for a group of the strongest trainers around. Why wouldn't he be stacked?
What about the four girls from Battle Chateau? Who would even care for completing this place and see these four. I only remember them, because I learned about them from the TCG lol
I mean I completed the place but couldn't tell you their names they aren't as memorable as the battle subway bosses or the battle tree for sure or battle frontiers
They're kind of in the same boat as the Team Flare scientist girls to me - I kinda like their designs, but I couldn't for the life of me tell you what their names are. ...which is a reverse of Curtis and Yancy, which is remember their names very well, but not what they look like. :/
Well, a lot of characters can be forgettable (especially when it's a Pkmn game you didn't play within the last deceny), but as a counterpart a lot of others will always remain in our memories (such as Champions, rivals etc)
My favorite underrated NPC is Copycat. She's a weird girl with no friends except her plushies who lives in Saffron City in Red and Blue. She likes to imitate people, and she repeats what Red says so that's one of the only times when we can know what Red says, and even he calls Copycat weird. Copycat is a nickname given to her because she likes imitating people a lot. In Gold and Silver, she moved to Johto where her family has to do with the train station. I even made Gen 1 and 2 custom pixel arts for her based on her two training card game designs.
Yes. I wish I could actually make a hack rom where we would play as Copycat, with, instead of Boy and Girl, we could choose between her original design and her remake design. Two of the base names would be Copycat and Duplica. And considering we can see her using disguises on the cards, she could have to wear these costumes. Like using her Rocket costume to infiltrate them, or her Blaine costume to replace him at the Gym while he has something important to do. And her main Pokemon would be Ditto obviously.
She also got quite a few TCG cards, so we can see what she'd look like in different outfits. She's got some nice green hair... or brown in the HGSS-era cards, but that's probably because of her in-game sprite. Whatever, she still looks adorable! Oh and Duplica, who's inspired by Copycat, is one of my favourite minor characters from the anime. She _also_ has some nice green hair. :3
I know all of that. I always search information about characters I like, especially the underrated ones. Did you read my ideas for a Copycat rom hack ?
@@Oceane1803 Yeah, of course! By the way, you said you made some pixel art of her. Would you midn sharing them with us? Do you have a DeviantArt account or something?
I feel like the 7 sages are pretty forgettable. Not as a collective but individuals. I can name 3 of the 7 only because of a recent gatorex video. From my memory (and what I skimmed in serebii) they didn't do much in the main story. In bw2, only Rood and the purple one are present in the main story and they don't do much. One gives you Zorua and the other you fight like twice. So maybe not those two but the others are forgettable for me.
Looker tends to be forgotten by GameFreak in Modern Pokemon the lady game he was in was Pokemon Sun/Moon with his mistress Anabel seriously GameFreak bring back Looker in Paldea because the dude isn't done investigating yet!
There's the one from Hoenn who has way too many boxes in her house. There's Bebe (or whatever her name was) from Sinnoh who gives you an Eevee. And... uh... yeah, I got nothing. It's a shame too, as most of them have some pretty nice-looking official art, even the ones who share designs with generic NPCs. EDIT: wait, Molayne is a PC storage developer? :o
Jpr: What’s his name? Me: Spencer. Jpr: It’s Spencer. Me: 🤓 Daragh is in Masters at least. 🤷♀️ I hope Benga appears again at some point, especially since he and Alder are related to the legendary hero from PLA.
Gen 6 is so bad and forgotten with its characters than John didn’t even mention anyone of the Team Flare Admins names and also managed to completely skip over the Battle Chatelaines. Well done, Kalos. Well done.
By "admins", do you mean the scientists or the nameless grunts in white? Because the latter are who are actually called "Team Flare Admins." No, I'm not joking. Go look it up. Kalos, the definition of "quantity over quality."
About Celio, honestly any Pokémon Storage System Developer not named Bill would be forgotten or at least obscure. The second best known is, what, Brigette? And mainly because of Pokémon Bank? Anyway, I recognized anyone in this video except Carrie (who didn't reappear in HGSS; I also didn't care much about Mystery Gifts).
I always have a memory of Brigette appearing in the anime for some reason, but no she hasn't iirc. Definitely would boost her popularity, both her designs are elite, especially with how this fanbase gets lol
I remember majority of these with the exception of Yancy and Curtis who I have literally no recollection of 🤔 and this is coming from someone who loves Gen 5, clearly I wasn't paying enough attention 🥴
It's super easy to miss the Lost Xtranceiver key item that's off in the southwest corner in Nimbasa's ferris wheel area. And even if you have the thing, you still need to stand on very specific tiles in different locations to even progress the side quest. Honestly, a lot of the tiles are in spots that you would really check out only once and never go back to once you think nothing's there. All of that's probably why most people don't even know about Yancy and Curtis. I'm honestly surprised people even figured it out enough to have actual guides for the quest.
I can see why you think Honey is the most forgettable character in SWSH, but she has a big arc since the beginning of the Isle of Armor and appears multiple times. If the game doesn't have a forgettable character then don't list one. But luckily I have two. First is Peonia who has 3 big scenes and then is gone forever and Cara Liss, who is the woman doing the fossils and yes has a unique design to other professors.
No lie, I knew Spencer's name because there's a major character with the same name from the original Pokemon Ranger game. Spencer is actually the only Hoenn Frontier Brain whose name I remembered besides Anabel.
I always thought the old guys in ORAS: Giddy, The Hipster, The Bard & The Trader were really random and easy to miss, but their little story was quite fun, and how they go on to 'create' Mr Bonding is insane 😂
No one who read either of the gen 4 mangas could forget Charon because in both of them he turns out to be way more evil than Cyrus and usurps the entire team for his own gain. Heck in the DPA manga he somehow managed to be so terrifying that it's implied that a literal suicide mission to bomb the league is preferable to the grunts than whatever Charon would do to them for refusing. It's also hard to forget how he's the one who did the preliminary research on Rotom (fun fact, we've seen Rotom's discoverer, the kid who wrote the diary, in an official video. He was a little redheaded boy with big glasses). Also, Charon has THREE ancestors in PLA. You mentioned Choy, but there's also Choy's wife Yui and her grandfather Tao Hua. Though I gotta say, you did present me with one character I actually had forgotten, and that's Carrie. Congratulations.
7:24 JPRPokeTrainer98: Quick. Without Googling it, tell me his name now. Me: It's Spencer. JPRPokeTrainer98: Yeah. I didn't think so. EPIC FAIL! The episode that Spencer first appears in is one of my favourite Battle Frontier episodes.
11:23 I love this side quest. not just for the trades but for the conversations and subtle romance. I really wish we had more stuff like this, even if it's not romantic, to have a friend we can visit/talk to outside of battles, maybe they could tell us where is a hidden item or give us a pokemon unavailable in the wild in that region, give us hints on the elite four of that region or give us a particular item after a number of visits/battles/trades (this to give people who don't care about npcs the incentive to actually talk to them)
Weird to see Juan labeled as forgotten. Emerald was the game I played as a kid over Ruby and Sapphire so I’ve never really forgotten Juan. (Wallace also feels more like a champion than his predecessor(?) and Steven is just a president’s kid who’s into rocks.) Also loved Yancey and Curtis as a kid, loved that slight romance plot! Kinda wish another one would pop up even if it’s super long.
Title: "The Pokemon Characters You Forgot Existed" Me: Aight. Bet. 7:25 Okay. No Google. No Bulba. No freaking Emerald version either since I never owned it. Spenser...or was it Spensor. I forgot the spelling. 11:18 Oh man, these two look like something out of some kind of card-based anime. I remember Yancy for some reason, and I know there's a male counterpart for female MCs, but I never played B2W2 as Rosa. 13:44 Yeah no. I can't forget Honey. She's too hot to be forgettable.
One that I don’t see many talk about are Dexio and Sina. They initially appear in XY as the professors assistants but they don’t get any official art till Sun and Moon since they’re there to investigate Zyguard which is a pretty hard part to miss in both the regular and Ultra games. As far as I’m aware they’ve never been in the anime or in Pokémon Masters. Also I feel really bad for the Ultra Recon Squad. I remember so much speculation on them in the lead up to USUM but they don’t really do much. Kinda surprised nearly nobody talks about the blue skinned alien people. At least they’re getting some attention in Pokémon Go.
Sina at least gets some "interesting" fanart by virtue of being a girl, so you might stumble upon her while browsing questionable sites. Dexio gets no such things or if he does, I either don't remember it or it didn't exist in the first place. And yeah, r.i.p. Ultra Recon Squad.
While Red, and, Blue are well known in Gen 1 everyone seems to forget about the third park of the group a female trainer called Green, and yes she does appear in the lets go games.
And when you remember all the RNG bulls%it Spencer uses _on top of Battle Palace's RNG-heavy gimmick,_ you can't forget him either. Double Team, King's Rock, Bright Poweder, Horn Drill...
You want some more obscure Galar children? Here you go: Melony has a daughter with a somewhat unique design who's only seen in her concept art. Someone on DeviantArt even made fanart of her!
I just redownloaded Pokémon Masters EX and at some point unlocked this girl with Seviper. I had to check her sibc story to learn that's she's from battle frontier. I really had no idea she existed untill now.
Here's a little not-so-fun fact about Ryuki that you all probably missed for reasons that are about to get obvious. In my country, Italy, there is a strong Pokemon presence, especially in the competitive scene, and right before SwSh came out Masuda came here and he also sat down for an interview with a local Pokemon expert. One of the questions was "what was the deal about Ryuki?" and well Masuda answered saying he forgot that he even existed... Keep in mind this was 2019, just a couple of years after USUM.
There's also Teala, the woman who introduces you to the Wireless Club/Wi-fi Club in the Gen 3&4 games (except Ruby and Sapphire). Why they even bothered giving her a name, I have no idea.
Oh man, Juan. My team had a problem with him. It actually ended up with my Sceptile and his Kingdra having basically accuracy cut each other into using up PP and just smacking each other like preschoolers with that weird desperation move? I can’t remember the name.
I feel like there’s human characters in the side games that are more forgotten than some of the people shown here. Pokémon Ranger, Colosseum and Conquest have lots interesting characters. I hope characters from those games show up in Masters and maybe the main games!
Later on when Sword and Shield and some of it's pokemon were revealed, many saw Ryuki as a possible hint to the next generation game. The third main legendary of Galar is a dragon type and there is that Pokemon with two forms that play guitar with those organs on their chest (I'm sorry, I forgot their name, but I hope some of you know what I'm talking about)
Yeah for a massive franchise like Pokemon, 25 years going strong, there will be some that slip through the cracks. My suggestion for a forgotten character would be SwSh and that’s Nia. And not the sassy cat girl in Xenoblade, this Nia being the daughter of Peony in the crown tundra DLC. Being around your age and having some spats with her overbearing dad. Honestly she fits alongside Honey as being a character that is pretty forgotten, and is apart of the DLC so a lot less people would actually know of her since you need to buy that specific DLC. Would like to see her again possibly in Masters but she is pretty low on the list of “must adds” in Pokemon in general. Or he’ll just Galar. We have yet to have Victor get added in and for a protagonist, you would of expected him to be important and already in. So maybe he would be like Hilda and get added in as an adventurer who works with Peony, and in turn, Nia. I think that can be a good way to add her into Masters.
In the Japanese tcg set, Lost Abyss, the Lady secret rare is the Lady trainer class from FRLG. In the same set, Frontier Brain Thorton gets his Full Art debut. Cheryl is the only stat trainer so far that has a Full Art during the SwSh era. Caitlin got her first full art in the SwSh set Jet Black Poltergiest (a set featuring Shadow Rider Calyrex) despite her card being introduced in the BW era of cards.
Ok commenting before watching this video, I expect to remember all these characters, I will update the comment with my results. Results: Celio I remembered, there was a pokemon card of his that was in a lot of starter decks I had. The frontier brains I remembered, I somehow SOMEHOW remembered Spencer's name, probably cuz of the manga. Also tucker is one of the most characterized frontier brains in the manga so that helps As for the rest: eh tbh idk there's a lot I don't even remember what I remembered anymore 😂
Yes! I always wanted it to be revealed that Scott was once Champion of the Hoenn region and made the Battle Frontier after giving up his title. It sucks that we know see so little of the past League Champions. They’re not immortal so they can’t have been Champion forever.
