After listening to this a little post upload and then older uploads, it is quite different. What do you guys think of the results of using Sonar? I might try it using it with Resolve, or just 100% using Resolves EQ/Gate and everything. I never actually considered just recording straight into resolve instead of audacity lol. But I think Audacity might be part of the reason I'm getting the weird click that I think made its way in the video in one spot.

just gonna say this before I watch but I personally feel in the new engraving system taking into account solo raids are coming I personally believe that Ether Predator will be a very good engraving it already adds a decent amount of damage AND defense when you get a 30 stack and it's seriously easy to keep a 30 stack and with them adding relic books this could very well mean that it's only going to get even better than it already is which if true could be huge for solo enjoyers. just my humble two brain celled opinion tho. also as a person that's never watched your videos before allow me to tell you that I do in fact not notice a difference in the audio quality.

That's actually not the first time I heard a prediction about EP going in. Overall I hope there are big changes that allow just more engraving freedom without feeling like a huge grief.

we kind of have a blueprint of what they are going to do, but without seeing it released in KR, we just have no idea. There's been lots of speculating, but all in all, i think this is probably the best opportunity to mainswap out of a class you may not be having fun with anymore. The director seemed to imply, and the changes seem to suggest, that they want people to be able to build their characters fairly freely. However, that limitation is still on your gems. If you do have multiple builds for your main, are you going to be dragging around 2 sets of gems? This might just be me coping, but i really would hope that they make it so we can craft 1 set of gems for each character, and that's it. Freely swap once you've rolled it once, or just remove that sink all together...

Yeah, if they don't do anything about gems and elixirs, people still won't be able to switch between playing their engravings which is something they said they wanted to address. So atm it feels like an attempt was made, but it's not enough for that. But I'm hoping they're holding back on some information in LOAON and there is more.

ive always said sh di is allowed to do damage when they have to buy the same amount of gems as anyone. tbh i think ppl are shitting on elixir and trans so much just becouse it takes literal millions to finish the gem system and now that of all things gets reset.

I quit in Dec 2022 and just came back. Cant wait for solo raids. I'll probably just do all my solo raids and not really care about the newer 1-2 contents for awhile. Im too far behind.

You almost had me at the first part there. "I quit in Dec 2022..." Thought it was gonna be ranting why you hate the game lol. But yeah I hope solo raids is an enjoyable experience. I got a lot of abandoned characters that I would just like to progress up to the silver honing limit at least just to try them out.

Depending how well solo raids make progressing old alts, I just see myself bringing a lot of my alts up to 1600+ with the upcoming changes. And depending on how it all shakes out in T4, I don't quite know who'll be in my main 6. I barely have a main 3 at this point, but with some ease of gearing and the ability to do some progression on my own time, I can see myself doing a lot more playing than before. Might even make new characters.

Yeah I plan to solo raid up all my low abandoned characters to 1540 at least, maybe 1580 it the nerf is tempting enough. But right now I'm pretty content with my roster besides the unsure future of Evo scouter. I don't want to commit T4 to it if it ultimately still feels the same as T3. So I'm considering Slayer since its 1610, or the long con of one of the characters I'll progress through solo. It's just hard to tell still because we just don't know what classes will be like once all the systems settle in.

@@Jukwol Considering I just got my main to 1620 last week, as well as finished LoS30 last week, I'm mostly going to take time to relax until solo raids. The rest of my roster is quite underwhelming due to a year absence of basically when 1370 was the go-to parking spot and 1415 was still a little expensive. I think another cool part about the upcoming stuff is that I can also give classes and both engravings a shot (if I desire) with the perma 5x3 and lvl 7 gems we are getting. I can finally find out what I actually enjoy playing without having to ask myself if I want to try to find runs for relic sets for old alts who didn't have them, how they with relic accessory stats, etc. without needing an express pass. So while I'm unsure of my roster, at least I'm unsure in a way that I'm looking forward to....after my semi-break.

Entropy change seems kinda cope They released Breaker who has an entropy playstyle engraving, that to me seems like they aren't changing anything entropy related

I think they'll just make it less feast or famine on getting the positional. Because the more I thought about it, its weird to do these changes to the set late when it's part of Page 1 of the Ark passive. ( I thought about this while editing the video)

NGS was the monkeys paw. It makes me fear if they ever completely revamp LOA like NGS did if we would end up with a completely different product for a different target audience.

@@Jukwol As NGS approached, I was dreading it. I saw the writing on the wall before it came out and was not liking the looks of it. Sadly, I was right. But GOD I had so much fun with PSO2, it hurts to think of what it became. I really liked how end-game content was so accessible too, even though they were these big multiplayer raids, it didn't feel horrible to just jump into an UQ. I wish I could go back, but it's gone now, and I just have to accept it...

I don't think the game is going to be universally balanced. But I do think it should have parity between gates and raids. No class should be top on all gates all raids,cough cough summoner.

Yeah, I think when the topic of balance, there are the people who think this topic is about perfect balance which kind of triggers an enrage mech on them. You can't have perfect balance without every class being the same, it's true. But you can still have classes be very competitive with one another while all being very different in design and gameplay. Like you can't say DB and Breaker are both pumping hard because they're the same class. They're very very different classes. That's the part of the conversation that tends to go over people's heads. It's not about perfect balance, its about them being competitive with one another and so people can feel better about investing in x character.

@@Jukwol in general I agree. It would be nice for every class to be competitive when played correctly. But I do think raid design plays a very big role. Some gates are just not meant for certain classes and that's perfectly fine. But I don't think any class should just be top performers on every gate. That‘s overpowered. On the other hand,no class should do z on every gate either. Like gl or aero,which are just bad on virtually every raid,which is discouraging.

#giveBladeHerAxleBack. I just hope they don't phase out counters (one of the main reason why i love reaper) in favor of the G key. Being a counter God is what i dreamed of being since i was a kid 😂. Other than that they can tweak the numbers idgaf. Just don't make the classes play different like axle or glaiver change, both of those made me not want to play the classes anymore.

I like counters, I just don't like them being attached to your synergy or be one of your main damage skills. It's pretty wack in that sense. But that's something they could still fix but idk if they will. Maybe they just want some classes to basically not have a counter.

"PM Gunslinger can do tripods on all their skills" meanwhile me running only 17/18 points kek this change is nothing for a gunslinger :'D having more skills doesnt mean u need more tripods esspecially because u run a lot of skills on lvl 4 just to get synergy tripod or movement skill tripod this update benefits probably any other class way more as long as they can use more than 18 tripods but it will be barely any difference because most tripods u didnt use yet u wont use anyway because its on skills which do 0 dmg anyway :'D

That's a fair way to see it, I'm no GS expert. Hopefully there will be changes along side it to shift that though. Maybe better utility on those 0 damage skills etc.

The thing is, meta can change such as making a 8M a thing... We dont even know what is coming because there are too much changes, massive ones. Im a main gs and i know we need buffs or just help with things as gems, but we need to wait with fingers crossed

i mean sure meta changes can happen but i am pretty sure PM Gunslinger if they dont change the whole concept will fall off even more as it allready is (also main gs here) Reasons why: 1. we get more skillpoints but also we get higher skill levels of course u could run an addtional skill or even remove a skill to run more on 14 or 12 maybe but non of your other skills pump close to the top 4 of your skills even target down which is one of the top 4 is more or less kinda mid in dmg.(i guess we can upgrade like 2-4 skills to 14 from 12) 2. tripod changes if u add one more skill like shotgun rapid fire into your arsenal to benefit from tripod changes its barely any dmg increase because u give up more dmg on your actual main skills and there is barely any fights where u can just target dummy the fight therefor an addtional skill can be a big dps loss if u cant pull off your whole rotation before your next comes. (this will be even more unlikely to be good because cd lvl 10 gems will give u 4% more cdr therefor you will have less downtime overall and adding another skill will also require you to let go off on a cdr or dps gem running a high skill without any gems is kinda waste of potential so very unlikely to happen) 3. PM GS animation locks and the dmg is backend loaded u litteraly have almost no skills which are not animation locks of course u can break them and u have very good mobility which is a big + on this class but the dmg output is not close to be any other class with the same issue we just got cucked because we have mobility but compare it to a master summoner this class is a criple in movementspeed + long animations but it gets rewarded on the dps side when they can pull off their stuff + they dont have todo it on a constant base only a few times in a run. On the gs side well people say just position yourself correctly and see the future 10 sek ahead so u can predict the boss next move so u dont miss anything kek but if u land some hits it just feels like nothing special. so why should it fall of more because dmg gets even more loaded on the main skills and the mid skills get less dmg but they are still in a way important before the added skill points the lvl 10/11 skills are at least somewhere there but after we add lvl 14 skills those skills will fall off even more so your main rotation which actually does dmg will be delayed into somewhat of a burst window (which gs is not its a consistent dps class). overall they need to change something on gs saying its on the better end of the field on dps well have u seen any gs which is not almost fully geared on gems and they have to compete with that against 1-3 gem classes well sounds fair to me huh? the skillset yeah gs is in my opinion not the same difficulity as a arcana for example but the weapon switching keeping track of your synergy uptime consistently (gs has probably the lowest uptime per skill usage on synergy) + the long animation locks makes it not a easy class if u want to perform on it for an average andy its a okay class too pull off at the top end well. lets say it that way its a great class to prog but after 2 weeks of raid release its utter garbage
