I would ask God for two cups of joy for my daughter. She has suffered terribly in her life. I'm heartbroken to see the pain in her life. Two cups of joy Lord, for all the abused and deserted daughters. 🙏 ❤ 🙏
That was a beautiful prayer!!. The things that you said.....farmhouse type things spoke to my heart. Those types of things speak simplicity and peacefulness to me. When you said "fences", it reminded me of my life as a young girl. My mother hung our clothes out to dry when the weather was perfect for that. I would be out playing among the hanging clothes. My daddy had the ability of working with his hands and thoughtfulness. Two of his God given gifts. He built me a child size clothesline. I spent many hours hand washing doll clothes and hanging them to dry. Home type things......metal measuring spoons, measuring cups, wooden rolling pins, mixing bowls, clothes lines, stuffed bears, crocheted doilies....hooks, thread yarn, spools of thread, cookie sheets of cookies.....I was the cookie baker at home, and made batches of cookies and packed them in cookie cans to take on our vacations....short or long. These are things that God has planted in my heart as cherished things. God has given you such a beautiful and kind heart. Thank you for sharing it with us. ♥️

This prayer of two cups was so beautiful. I loved it. Wanted to let you know that I started my scripture writing today. I’m not much of a writer. I’ve never been a list maker or a letter writer, etc. , but you inspired me. I hope I will keep it up as I think it’s a wonderful way to stay close to and learn more about God. I’m starting with all the verses on Salvation, that way if the rapture happens and I pray it will very soon, I will have left something behind for those who were left behind to show them the way to be saved. I’m also an introvert so this is probably my best way to try to reach others even if it’s after I’m gone. Thank you Sherry, God is using you in a mighty way. Thanks for following what He lead you to do.

My mom had a measuring cup just like the one pictured. She died last August. The past year has been filled with trauma resulting from a family member's abuse and destructive behavior. Two cups of restoration, trust, and healing are what I am seeking. I know God is the 'Master Chef' and can redeem the mess. Thank you for sharing the picture and the prayer.

Wow! I'm so in awe! God has truly blessed me again and again! Your prayer was so inspiring! Shortly after daddy's death I asked God to allow me to be just an ounce like my daddy who fully trusted in Him. I too have a story that I call, My Blessed Ounce. It's been almost 16 years after daddy's passing, I can say without a doubt that God has answered many of my prayers. My Blessed Ounce is definitely a true story. Thank you for sharing your heart.

Oh how I love that prayer Sherry. It is as beautiful as u r inside and out. TY for sharing. And as far as the 2 cups I’d ask for would be a best friendship and the love of that best friend. I’m divorced 3 times each were abusive in their own way. I’m trying to be content as I am in hopes that someday God will send Me my REAL best friend. When I see couples that are married and I k they have a great loving relationship I pray to God thanking Him for their great marriage. Bc even though I haven’t had real love I’m thankful they aren’t going what I’ve been through and know and live the real love life. I know no marriage is perfect. But if there’s no abuse. That’s a great marriage.

Hello Sherri, I am a new subbie, I just love this prayer, I am starting to write scripture in an art journal I made a while ago, I shall add this prayer fist thing tomorrow. My 2 cups would be for my daughter and her three boys who have ADHD and Autism, for God to grant them peace that passes all understanding. Thank you so-much for sharing your beautiful heart with us. The images you spoke of are some I often use. Especially windows, I too am an introvert. I find it's safer to stay in looking out. I'd like two cups of strength for my dearest friend. For myself, I'd like two cups of peace about the past, I'm through with it, but it's not through with me. And two cups of gratitude for all my blessings.

When I saw the measuring cup with flour .y first thought was I can't wait for it to cool down so I can bake some whole wheat bread. Here in Arizona we are in an excessive heat warning, have had above average temperature in June and July with August temperatures above average. I love the items you would place in your cup and how you would share. My cup always needs some hugs so I will share one with you!❤

One to share with those I want to be impatient with. And one to receive from others. I often find, that since GOD made us all unique, many times others misunderstand my actions or intentions.
