Loud and Explosive Bowel Movements when I was younger the neighbor lady would watch me in the 80’s. House smelled like cigarettes and ice tea lol! And always had The price is right on everyday
@@Musicradio77Network there’s a clip from either the 70s or 80s where a contestant chased bob playing lucky 7 and also a clip from 200? Where bob ran from a contestant
@thislittlepiggy oi what kind of no-lifer brings up politics on the comments section of a game show. you ought to reflect on the stuff you spend your time on before you realise it’s too late and your whole life has been a waste.
People often mauled Bob in their excitement. Poor guy. He really had to put the kibosh on it the last few seasons. He was getting older and people were inadvertently hurting him for real. Those old bones can't take that.
This show was so fun to watch back in the day. I have so many great memories of watching this with my grandmother. Those people who were on the show must have had a blast.
I attended shows with with Bob as host and Drew as host. Bob was good but off camera he didn't interact much with the crowd. Drew was hilarious. He talked with people like they were his friends at all commercial breaks and cracked jokes at every opportunity. I loved them both.
You are outta your mind . Every show after breaks he would mention with laughter conversations with members of the audience . Not to mention kisses from the ladies or countless standing ovations from those in attendation from old schoolers Johnny Olson or next Rod Roddy . Janice Pennington with the tradition mic off and of course the other 2 knockout Barker's Beauties Holly Harstrom and Dian Parkinson . Drew Carey gets lapped in this race . Da GOAT Bob Barker . RIP .
Rich Fields was the announcer for Bob's last three years, and Drew's first three (2004-2010). So I knew, when I heard his voice, that it was close to the end for Bob. But I didn't realize it was the last few months.
@Shane Plyler no ones perfect. He certainly was nice to the contestants. If my memory serves I do remember he was nice to at least one of his barker beauties. 😉
@@dgenr8s The model that you are saying dropped the suit by herself 2 years later. The wrongful termination part was dropped by the judge for lack of evidence, and the sexual harassment part was dropped by herself. So Bob didn't sexually harass anyone.
Theres also a guy dressed in black who was stepping out from behind the producer’s table. Looks like he was about to take the lady down. Plot twist: he was gonna help the lady and grab Bob for her.
I was on TPIR and while you are there, they say it over and over, "you can hug Bob, you can Kiss Bob, but don't hurt Bob!" You even have to repeat it. lol They told us a contestant had broken his ribs once. He was really nice and stayed for every commercial break and answered our questions. Oh, I won a car!! Super fun, highly recommend it!
There was a contestant back in May of 2000 who won ten chances in the first 3 chances and lifted Bob up in the air. I remember reading in that occurrence Bob ended up with some broken cartilage.
I grew up watching Bob Barker as a kid on those 3 day weekends, when I was sick as a dog at home, those rainy, boring summer days. Thought he was the man, the coolest grandpa I never had. Getting a bit older now days, I realize he was just as flawed and complicated as the rest of us, yes maybe a bit of a pervert, but then again that sort of shit was how his generation operated. Sad to say that, go watch Mad Men if you really want to know how things used to be in the work place. Still though, I think he is a brilliant showman, somebody who comes along once in a lifetime and strikes lightning. As much as I love Drew Carey, he can't quite work a contestant and a room quite like old Bob.
@@dannydougin3925 oops! I didn’t realize I made a gender error 3 months ago until you point that out today! I meant the cameraman prevented the contestant from attacking Bob Barker!
Watch old footage from the 1970's and 1980's. You'll see little bits and pieces here and there not just with TPIR but Match Game taped there too. Along with several other shows.
If you watched the show enough, you’d notice that Bob kept his arm with the microphone between him and the crazy contestants to push them away if needed.
